Excellent traditional Mexican food– not Americanized! The tortas was so tasty. Enjoy!

San Pedro Limon is a place you would easily drive by and never stop in but we trusted Unilocal and headed in for lunch. This is not Tex-Mex but Mexican food. Fresh and wonderful, it is obviously a place loved by locals. Our waitress was sweet. My husband’s Tacos al Pastor and my enchiladas were flavorful and not typical fare. The tortillas and chips are handmade right there.

I have only had the breakfast tacos here. They were not too bad if you add enough ingredients. If you just get 2 ingredients, your taco will look like a toothpick. Everything tastes well, just not enough food.

This is truly one of those small town authentic interior Mexican restaurants you stumble across when you get really lucky. The tortillas are homemade. The ingredients are fresh. The meat is perfectly marinated and heavily spiced.

Popped in for an Al Pastor to-go. It was amazing. We live down in the LT area and have a hard time finding authentic Mexican tacos. This place did not disappoint! Wish we lived closer, but now I know where I’m stopping when I’m up here!

Love their tortillas and salsa! I’ve eaten here once and tried their gorditas and barbacoa tacos and loved them both. The prices are a bit high compared to other Mexican restaurants but the food is good. I have come in a couple times to just buy packs of tortillas to take home.

Usually here for breakfast tacos and they are solid. Eggs aren’t overcooked and are well seasoned. I like their chorizo, the breakfast sausage is links chopped up and is a little weak. The bacon could be better. However, they use good white cheese and the corn tortillas are freshly made in house, have a nice tangy bite to them. When I was in, firefighters were eating there. These are guys that are always looking for a good value(I picked up their check, buying a meal for firefighters always makes my day) so that for me is always a good sign. The orange colored salsa looks deadly but is not stupid hot and compliments the tacos brilliantly. I’ll work my way through the rest of the menu later.

The name must have changed from the last review. Came here based on the reviews and honestly, the tacos were okay. The corn tortillas were flimsy and fell apart, the barbacoa was salty, and the lengua was okay. Their orange salsa is pretty good. Our tacos weren’t filled to the brim like described in some reviews. Probably will try again, but nothing too stellar here.

This place has great food and the service was excellent! We moved from Arizona last year and this is the first place we have found that serves Mexican food that is as delicious as it is in AZ! Amazing !

This place is the real deal. Homemade corn tortillas, which is one of my basic requirements for a great place. They had the machine going, making tortillas and wrapping them to sell in grocery stores. Just saying, the restaurant where people can send money home to their families in other countries is the place where you want to eat. I just got basic breakfast tacos, but I’d love to come back for a real meal. Glad to find this place today!

The food was good and the portions were adequate. This restaurant’s décor is less than awesome. I don’t care too much about this, but it might bother some people.

Few places serve such tasty breakfast tacos as here! I especially love their Al Pastor, Green Pork, and the one bite of chorizo, egg, and cheese(my niece’s) made me want more. They sell a huge stack of freshly made corn tortillas for $ 2.25!!! You just can not beat that! I was surprised that this restaurant wasn’t on Unilocal a couple of months ago, so i was able to explore the ‘add a business’ feature. Pretty cool. Inexpensive, super friendly, parking a little limited, but pick up some tacos to go from here, and head to Cianfranis down the street for some coffee to go, and eat on the square in the morning sun.

While at court, a staff member recommended San Pedro Limon to me. She mentioned that the portions for the price were great and the food was delicious. Being from the RGV, I am constantly on the lookout for«legit» Mexican food, so I had to come try this place out. I can’t believe I hadn’t seen it before as It is located on North Austin street in Georgetown, just across from the Starbucks I frequent. The restaurant is a small family owned business, and the waitstaff is very attentive. I ordered the Verdes Enchiladas de pollo(chicken enchiladas with green sauce). The plate was $ 8.00 and came with 5 enchiladas(as opposed to most restaurants that charge $ 10– $ 12 for three), refried beans, and rice. They were a little different from what I am used to in terms of construction, but they were delicious! What do I mean by different in terms of construction? Well, most places you go to, or even when making enchiladas at home, the tortillas may be passed through some hot oil in order to soften them, sauce is usually spread on the tortilla along with the filling and then rolled, and then more sauce is placed on top of the enchiladas with cheese. Here, the tortillas had no oil on them, the filling was the deliciously spiced chicken, and the verde sauce and cheese was placed on top of the completed enchilada. It is most likely due to the region of Mexico the food is influenced by. So, while different, it was definitely good, and much more than I could eat, so I had left overs for later. As good tripas are also hard to come by, I had to try a taco here. My husband loves tripas, and I’d be doing him a disservice if I didn’t. At $ 2 a taco, they are the cheapest I have been able to find. I like my tripas very crispy, and that’s how I ordered it. They were great! I definitely recommend these to tripa lovers. Note: not that any self-respecting Hispanic would eat their tripas on flour tortillas, but if you do, I would actually suggest getting them on corn as the corn tortillas are homemade. The flour tortillas are store bought, and not the good kind like the made in-store while you watch ones at HEB. They taste like they come from a prepackaged bag that sits on a shelf. But, also note, I did say I am from the RGV… I have been spoiled by homemade everything, so I tend to be more critical of my Mexican food than others may be. As for the rice and beans, they were very good. I actually ate some of the rice, which, for those who have not read my previous reviews, is a big deal. I am a rice snob and hardly find rice that I like if it is not made the way my grandmother makes it(which seems to limit my consumption to only when a family member or myself makes it). As for drinks, I had a sweet tea. It was very refreshing and was sweet, not DIABETICCOMA sweet like you can find in the Valley, but good. I would definitely recommend this establishment.

This is a tiny place with an interesting menu of interior Mexican food of the type you would find in the community of San Pedro Limon in the Estado de Mexico. We stopped in for a late brunch. I enjoyed the chilaquiles and my husband loved his huevos a la Mexicana. The service was great; the owner was informative and friendly and the prices were very reasonable. It was nice to enjoy a not-the-typical-Tex-Mex meal!
