Sno cones are watery. They don’t give straws or napkins. Girl at window wasn’t friendly. Will be going to Hula Cowgirl Shaved Ice.

I read previous reviews and was kinda nervous but REALLY wanted a snow cone. Whoever said the ice wasn’t soft must not have been talking about this place cause it was the softest ice I’ve ever had! I will totally make the drive from Round Rock many times this summer! I had the piña colada and my son had the watermelon. Any recommendation for next time?

Always great. I like their flavors, but also like the crazy concoctions they come up with. The staff is always very friendly and helpful.

We’ve been looking for a good shaved ice place in Georgetown and drove by this place many times until I finally decided to give it a try. The ice was not soft like other shaved ice places. I had the blue coconut and it was just ok. I didn’t even finish it.

The snow is so fluffy at Zydeco. The flavors clean. Perfect place for a quick drive thru treat!

Such smooth ice! I got half cherry and lemon lime, and it tasted like an amazing cherry limeade! Quick service and very reasonably priced! I can’t wait to show my husband this place!!!

Wow! The two young women working there today were so helpful and friendly. Very impressed and their suggestions were excellent. I chose the nectar with cream which was really good.

We love this place!!! Can’t beat it on a TX summer day! We’ve been going for about 2 – 3 years. They have a drive thru. My favorite flavor is the«beach vacation» I like that they offer«flat tops». This is a plus when you have young kids!

So many yummy flavors! I can’t believe(Tiffany B.) that anybody would complain about a snow cone. She probably slammed the window in your face because she was tired of you and your kids whining about wanting more flavors. 3 flavors? Why don’t you just give her a bag of C&H Pure Cane Sugar and a spoon and let her have at it? And seriously(James L.), they have prices as low as $ 1.50. That’s cheaper than most sodas at most restaurants. If you’re ever in Georgetown give it a try — you’ll love it!

I’m gonna round up from 3.5 and give 4-stars. Never thought I would review a snow cone stand but here ya go. Took mom over for a light sweet treat after a day of shopping. I had to have something cold, and ice cream just did not seem like a great idea when it is sooo darn hot out there. It was a tad busy, but there was reason to be. I would say it was reasonably priced, but you don’t really get that much more for a «domed» top vs the«flat» top. Definitely not 1.25 worth of extra snow cone. Anyways… the Coconut was the best I had ever had. Smooth, light, almost like fresh snow cream.(if yer old enough to remember making that as a kid, you know what I mean) A lot like an Italian ice, only smoother. Who knew ICE could be that smooth, and creamy?! From what I could see, they had about 4 workers inside, and quite a few cars in the drive-thru. It seemed to take a while to get our snow cones, but it was worth it. A suggestion: Perhaps a tarp or some sort of shade to stand under while waiting on snow cones, That late afternoon summer sun is a devil, and a trash can to toss empty cups and napkins. With business this steady during the summer, perhaps another snow cone machine.

Great sno cones for the Georgetown area. I live in Austin but when I come visit my boyfriend on a hot summer day after a hike, this place hits the spot. I’ve never waited in line. The prices are good and the flavors are great. I prefer Kawaii’s in RR, but if you’re in Gtown and don’t want to go far, this place will work.

Not an expert on «ice» but if you’ve seen me you know I am no stranger to food in general. I found it to be expensive for three adults and three kids. I guess to justify they feel they need to overdo it on the syrup side. Nobody finished. Too sweet. We were just coming from the park and wanted something cool and refreshing, not sticky and overpowering. Suggestion for the little kids to avoid the mess — flat-tops.

Yeah, you are thinking, «Who in the heck reviews a snoball stand?!» Experts… that’s who. For the uninitiated, this is not the Sno-ball that you bought at the baseball field with the watery kool-aid dumped on top of crunchy ice. [Into the way-back machine…] When I was 13 years old, I worked at a shaved ice stand in Waysouth™, MS while the owner went water skiing and bikini chasing(the bum). The machine was a Sno-Wizard from New Orleans [Discovery learning opportunity #492: ]. Man, those machines are magic! After years of training with Tibetan monks, my technique was transcendent — pure light and energy focused into a cup of sugary sweetness. People came from nearby towns to sample these shaved ice delights. Men cried, dogs howled, women fainted. It’s all in the wrist — you gotsta take it slow like Sunday morning. Spend some tiiime with the ice — you can’t just dive in there like a young buck. Well, actually I have a secret. The magic was mostly in the machine… and they have one at Zydeco Ice. I didn’t see it — I heard it running, I sensed its presence, and I tasted the tell tale splendor. The kids are still perfecting their technique, but it was tasty and definitely worth the stop. I like that they offer a small 8oz cup since I don’t actually want 32 oz of sugar anymore. I highly recommend coconut with cream which comes in adult-colorless form. If you have never had shaved ice, try it. It will be the best 2 bucks you ever wasted.
