We didn’t expect much coming in to Georgetown but Alpine Restaurant and Bar was a truly great experience. My family owned a mountain town Pizza place for 20 years and the Pizza and calzone we had for dinner at Alpine was better. The pizza is served New York Style and the crust was delicious. Get the 20 incher for a true New York Style feel. The calzone was also great. One price put any 4 ingredients you want in it. I opted for pepperoni, mushrooms, jalapeños and BACON. It was great, good seasoning and great crust. Marinara dipping sauce was great too. Next time we are stuck in traffic up or down I70 we will be sure to stop in for a beer and pizza. You should too.

Found this place on Unilocal while going through the mountain from Denver on the way to Keystone. What a lucky find! Service is SOOO slow… came here around prime lunch time, and there were two servers. They seated us and it took forever for someone to come around and get our order. However, once they got the order, food came out quickly and was delicious!!! Tomato basil soup was so delicious that my 9 year old son asked for his own cup! My friend ordered the«Alpine Panini» — Roasted Chicken, Tomatoes, Fresh Basil and Red Peppers, Chipotle Aioli and Monterey Jack Cheese — and it was soooooooo gooooood! We ordered one large ultimate pizza, the«Frac Attack» — Pepperoni, Sausage, Homemade Meatball, Ground Beef, Ham and Mozzarella —- it was so good, everyone was so full but wanted more until we finished the whole pizza! We devoured everything, including a large Caesar salad, and chips with salsa and queso(the only thing on the menu that we could have/should have skipped). I highly recommend this place, and I’m already wanting to go back, craving the pizza!

Pizza was good. I ordered a gluten-free pizza with sausage, pepperoni, spinach, roasted garlic, and red onion. The toppings were all very delicious and tasted fresh. My favorite topping was the roasted garlic! I also liked how the sausage was crumbled all over the pizza allowing the flavor to be savored on every bite. The gluten-free crust tasted as expected and was on par with gluten-free crusts at most pizza places. My partner ordered the narrow gauge specialty pizza. It was a good all-around pizza We also ordered a garden salad. It wasn’t great and we wouldn’t order it again. The salad wasn’t presented well and was rather boring and tasteless. We would eat the pizza here again when stopping in town(but not the salad).
