Tile & Stone Nerds

I used the tile and stone nerds to put a protective coating in my garage. They did a wonderful job matching the color of my house. The end product looks great. I love showing my garage to friends and neighbors. Really sets my garage apart.

Absolutely awful. They were one of four we got a quote from. There price was the same as everyone else’s, but while the other three contractors were not able to start for a month, these guys had time available immediately. In fact, after I hired them they called and wanted to start a day early. This should have been the first red flag. They arrived (two people), honed the floor on day one — leaving many scratches in the floor after they were done — and filled a couple holes in the floor — but left over 30 stones with large holes. The next day they sealed the floor, leaving a discolored orange film on every high spot in the stone, as well as on almost all my floor boards. At this point I paid them half of contract amount — which I felt was more than generous of me. I then told them I need the holes in the floor filled and the orange crap removed from the floor. On day three the owner of the company arrived and started to berate me — standing in my face and yelling. Wow! That is some customer service. In any event, they agreed to finish the job and clean up all the orange goop (which they swore they had never seen before — of course). I paid them and they went on their merry way. Unfortuantely, the holes they filled are already (two weeks later) loosing the material that they put in and the orange goop seems to have resurfaces on some of my stone. And, of course, they didn’t fill all the holes anyway. Argggh! The great thing is that I have video and pictures of their effort, as well as a voice recording of the owner yelling at me. In my opinion, this is the worst contactor I have every worked with. Beware!

Tile and Stone Nerds recently re-​grouted our b bathtub. Their technician was friendly, professional and helpful. He gave us great tips on how to maintain and clean our tile… and our tub looks better than it did when it was new. Great Job!

If you want someone to really clean your carpets well, who cares that you are happy with the result, then we highly recommend Wayne at Tile & Stone Nerds. Every point of our experience with him demonstrated his professionalism and concern for completing our job well, leaving him with another very satisfied customer. We have a very light colored berber carpet that hadn’t been cleaned well or often enough, which left it with highly noticeable traffic area dirt. He pretreated and cleaned the carpet, then called after it dried to make sure we were happy with the result. He came out again to give further attention to the remaining problem areas, and we are thrilled with the way our carpets look.
