Decent local store with a good selection of beer wine and hard liquor. My experience probably would have been better if it weren’t for the smart aleck person working there. (Greg). I asked a out a non liquor item as a mixer and went on and on about how they were not a grocery store and if I wanted groceries I needed to go next door. Then he went on saying how they couldn’t sell certain items because HEB owned the building. I really didn’t care, all that was needed was, sorry sir we don’t carry that here, you might try next door.
It amazing how’s one employee can destroy a buying experience.

Love this location. The spanish lady with glasses is awesome! She is very knowledgeable! She knows her stuff real well! Highly recommend this location.

A fair sized store for hard liquor. Smaller wine selection than HEB next door. Prices are pretty good, especially if you look for the deals on buying multiple bottles. Unfortunately the staff doesn’t seem too knowledgeable and couldn’t direct me to any holiday wine, and didn’t even know what it was. A couple of shoppers told me to go next door to HEB, who carries a few types. So overall I’d have to say I’ll stick with Specs for hard liquor and HEB for wine. But this would be perfectly adequate if you know what you want and if it was convenient for you.
