Ok. I’m here for a month while I’m relocating and here’s my take: This place is insane! First off, I will say that the price is great. However, I can imagine there are lots of reasons why the price is good, and none of them are good. 1) They’re understaffed. I’ve had to wait every time I asked for something to be fixed in my room… sometimes for two days. 2) It’s filthy. There is a strange smell in my room and there are cigarette butts/trash everywhere outside. 3) There are worms in the corners of my first floor room. 4) The police have been here at least 5 times in the week and a half I have been here… tonight, just outside my room. I was awakened at 11pm by red and blue lights shining in my room and hearing someone screaming«Get on the ground!» I worry about my family’s safety. 5) I got a reservation quote about pet rent and then was up charged upon my arrival. 6) The«free wifi» is a joke. You have to pay for faster internet. 7) The laundry facilities are more expensive than necessary. 8) The mattresses are crap. I’ve had a backache daily. 9) There are about a handful of TV channels… and mostly bad TV at that. 10) The grab and go breakfast is more like grab and go snacks. So yeah… if it weren’t for the fact that it was so cheap, I’d be outta here. But, I need a place to stay until my house is ready to move into, the reviews on the other locations are sucky too and I don’t know the area well enough to find an alternative… yet.

Staying here right now. One thing you can’t complain about Extended Stay is the price, always a good value. A notch above the Best Westerns/Red Roof Inns in terms of price and the rooms are bigger. My room at the Century Blvd. location is pretty good. Full fridge, microwave, little kitchen stand to eat, stove. Really built like a studio apartment. And the King Size bed is FANTASTIC. Really comfortable and big. Few things with this location, it’s set up like a motel. In terms of the rooms are outside, it’s not a walk in building to your room. This hotel is also right on I-270, so if you’re in a room that’s facing I-270, you’ll be hearing the cars whizzing by pretty audibly unless you’ve got your A/C or Heat cranking. The«Free Internet» is also a scam. The speeds are probably 2G, tough to send an email and do basic browsing. However when you sign on, it immediately promps you«Do you want to upgrade bandwith for $ 4.99?» I need to be connected, so I did. The interenet AFTERTHAT was fine. Solid speeds with the extra $ 5. But the free internet really is a joke and they do sell the free internet as part of the room price. In this digital age, that’s something a lot of people look at for a hotel, so that did annoy me. With all that being said, I would defeinitely stay here again, if they improve the«Free Internet» this is easily a 4 star place to stay.

captains log day 46 i think… i stayed at this hotel in germantown. why germantown? ask priceline. they picked this spot for me. thats the gamble with pricelines. its ok. better than just a room but its a suite and they didn’t have any plates, room kind of smelled, nothing to clean the utensils, etc. plus side is their wifi worked well.
