DONOTSTAYHERE! Booked this hotel for my family last weekend. She woke up in the middle of the night with bed bugs biting her. Talked to the staff and it felt as if this was reported to them from previous people. Really bad atmosphere! wasnt much help with reimbursement! Just a bad experience!

Threw staff is friendly at this place. I had no idea that people tend to live in this hotel year round. I guess I should have read more reviews. When we arrived, they put us on the third floor. As soon as we got off if the elevator, the stench of cigarettes was over powering. We told the front desk and we had to wait 45 minutes for a different room on another level to be cleaned out. However, the weird thing was that she mentioned that floor always stinks. So, I’m not sure why nothing has been done to fix this problem. The room on the second floor was fine. It was cleaner and didn’t smell… well, until we came bank from our walk at the park. Someone who lives there was cooking curry chicken and/or broccoli morning, noon, and night! The smell lingered in the halls. I think this place is short staffed too. No one ever cleaned our room or provided fresh towels. The price was good, The staff at the front desk was kind, and the location was great. If only they could work on the stench of cigarettes and nasty cooking smells coming from the rooms.

I wish I could give this place no stars. They are not welcoming when you enter. They tell you it’s clean, but when I walked in my room it smelled of death. I couldn’t tell what it was til I entered the bathroom and someone did not flush since they checked out. The worst part is the toiler paper was folded nicely so you know an employee went in there. I tried to find someone at the desk(yes, it was during the desk hours) and nobody was there. So I had to open the windows, turn on every fan, and hope it was aired out by the time I returned. The walls are paper thin so you can hear everything. DONOTGOHERE. It is expensive and not worth it. There are hotels all around the area, go there, please.

Update — I wrote to the corporate office to complain about my experience there, and was contacted by someone from management who apologized for the experience and discussed ways that the hotel could have responded better. I think they’ll likely take some steps so that anyone in the same position in the future has more options. The hotel representative also said that she was having someone work with booking websites to try to arrange for a better way for booking of handicap accommodations. I hope these measures result in some changes that it easier for the disabled to use this hotel. The hotel is also sending a coupon for a free night’s stay, so that’s also a plus.
