A wonderful café style food court awaits shoppers or diners! Second time we’ve visited here but first on Friday night where Corky’s BBQ has a special fried catfish dinner. Surprise of surprises, it is absolutely excellent! We ordered extra crispy with Corky’s seasoned fries and slaw(hush puppies come with it). Tony Brown is the manager here(Barry Pelts should be proud of this man) what a delight to see someone who loves their job and takes pride in serving the best — daughter and her husband ordered ribs and BBQ plates — both tender and moist as we have come to expect here in the BBQ capital! Naturally this is very casual with even outdoor tables but we will remember to order take out! This is from someone who has travel for the past 44 years and know a bit about restaurants.

I never thought I would write a review for Kroger. But when I went on my lunch break to West street diner they were closed. On a Saturday. What restaurant does that? I digress. So I was forced to walk further. To Mccallister’s deli. And there was a line of 12 preteens in front of me. So I left. I continued to walk to Lenny’s, which is now out of business. Who even knew that was possible. 30 minutes later I arrived at Kroger. I thought that they would have food. And I was right. I got sushi. And it is grand. 5 stars for Kroger sushi. And no stars for West street diner, Mccallister’s, or Lenny’s.

And I was right. While the new Germantown Kroger has some really neat additions, the aisles are closing in on us. I am now not the only person who notices this.

I was pretty impressed the first time I went to this«king of all krogers». I do like their fresh produce as they are able to carry a large variety because of their high volume and little individual stands for deli or ramen. I don’t care for the seafood section because I find the quality to be the same with all other krogers. But then I remember I’m shopping at a Kroger after all. So over all this is a pretty good pimped up version of your neighborhood Kroger.

I really love this location. Its recently renovated and well stocked. This is my go to Kroger for the most part. They have several different stations which are great. They include Corky’s, a juice bar, Growlers, Gourmet pizza, Murray’s cheese Shop, Bakery, and Starbucks. Plus the customer service is good and the store is well kept.

This Kroger is a great location for our family to grab the essentials and we can count on good service and decent prices. The food is fresh and the organic produce section is adequately stocked although we wish they offered more wholesome prepared foods. The staff is most helpful, always moving through the aisles willing to help anyone looking for an item and they go the extra mile when checking us out; offer assistance with getting the groceries to and into the car. I liked their other store location set up a little better but they have made many improvements and the gentleman manager on site is always looking to improve on customer service so they get 5 stars from me.

This place is magnificent. First of all they have alot of places built in to it. Examples include a Starbucks and a Corky’s BBQ. Second I will talk about the actual place. It is very large and it has all the things I was looking for. They also have SO many fruits and even a place where they sell fruit juice! A very good place I would recommend if you want to go grocery shopping.

This Kroger is by far the most fancy Kroger in this area. It could have been the coolest grocery store had Whole Foods not built a new even more crazy grocery store a few blocks away, but Kroger deserves credit for this, and I hope Kroger continues to renovate the other stores to match. This Kroger has a dry aged steak display, with a in-store grill next to it, so they can grill the steaks for you. There is a growler station. And there is also a very nice food court with awesome little pizzas, good sandwiches, and, juice bar, my favorite, cheap tonkatsu ramen. Sure, it’s not the best ramen in this town, but it’s $ 7.99. The tonkatsu broth is flavorful enough for this money. Don’t order the spicy miso ramen here. Spicy miso ramen is neither spicy or miso… Heck, I would be fine if it was at least miso. I’ve ask them to change the recipe to at least miso. Currently it tastes like soy sauce soup. For good spicy miso ramen, go to the previously mentioned Whole Foods. On Wednesdays, they have $ 5 sushi specials. Oh, the car chargers are finally working!!!

All I can say is AWESOME!!! They just renovated this grocery store and it’s great! They have a Corky’s now, Starbucks, a sushi bar, a juice bar, awesome pizza counter, Murray’s cheese shop and A GROWLERSTATION!!! to name a few upgrades! I think it is neat that they have a station with a grill to try samples of seafood and meat too! It will take me a while to find everything in this place but well worth it! Oh and the staff seemed very friendly which is always a plus for me. I hate seeing people working at grocery stores that obviously hate their jobs– you have to be there so just smile! Haha

I am glad to see that there is a Kroger in the area that does a decent job of making customers feel important. Granted, this is a brand new store, but they appear to have done a great job teaching the employees the all important art of customer service. Today I was fortunate enough to run into a very nice man in the butcher shop. I needed just one chicken thigh for a particular recipe I am creating and he was all too happy to break open a package and repackage it to give me just the one I needed. This is how you keep customers coming back. Also, they are doing a good job keeping the place clean and the shelves stocked. I would like to thank the management of this particular Kroger and ask them to please pass on the customer service and cleanliness standards to the other Kroger’s in the greater Memphis area as they obviously have zero clue on how to do it right. This Kroger gets my approval and I hope they keep up the high standards.

It’s the simple things for me like having the Red Box Kiosk by the front door that make me smile.

WOWzers! Whole Foods or Kroger?! It took me a moment to figure it out but then the price point let me know I was at Kroger! This newly renovated store has it all, see pics! I was most pleased with all of the local businesses they are supporting — from produce, lillee’s gourmet bakery and dinstuhl’s chocolates… and much more! A few features: salt bar, corky’s bbq, fresh sushi, hot food bar, salad bar, ramen bar, soup station, fresh baked bread, gourmet cookies and cakes, large organic section, a meat ageing room I wish they would revamp more Kroger’s like this one so I could have one in my neck of the woods. Also Kroger gets 5 stars because they treat them employees great. They have excellent benefits!

I was a regular at this store when it was a Schnucks, so to have lower Kroger prices and more generics and store brands available is a dream come true! This Kroger lacks a lot of the organic produce and meat selection that can be found at the nearby Exeter Kroger, or the East Memphis Krogers. Staff is police and quick, and they are patient with children riding in the cart. Aisles here are nice and wide; this is a spacious store.

Unlike seemingly every other Kroger deli in the Memphis city limits, this Kroger has a deli that is genuinely happy to serve you. Great selection and service. The produce and meats section has more options than most and everything is reasonably priced. This makes for a great grocery shopping experience: the kind that makes you drive out of your way just to go to this location.

This is one of the Schnucks stores that was converted to a Kroger. In side it sill looks like a Schnucks, for example, they haven’t changed the signs over the aisles or changed the layout at all. Pros: Boars head Deli Good selection at butcher shop Cons: Not much fresh produce. Where Schnucks had lots of fruits and veggies on the Way in, Kroger has replaced it with junk and processed food. Meat doesn’t look that great Smaller selection of beer Prices are higher
