La Petite Academy

My daughter has attended La Petite in Germantown for the past two full school years and summers and we have had a good experience. Some of the reviewers here must forget that day-​cares are in fact businesses who are required to accept payment for services provided. I’ve never had an issue with getting questions answered or concerns addressed. My school-​ager also attends the summer camp. They have tons of field trips, and I’m sure my daughter would give 10 stars if she could. There’s been some turnover with the director position, but I can’t imagine any position at a daycare center is an easy job. The teachers we’ve encountered seem to really care about the kids.

This place is a big no no no no. All they care about is $$$ and their jobs. The staff here look like they watch for their 9 hour shift to end. Its sad. A while ago my friends child use to attend here. But too much carelessness happens here. I constantly saw staff on their phones then tending to the kids. staff are constantly sitting on their rear or clumped together outside. Dont let the director fool you with kindness or make the tour sound as if your attending Sidwell friends private school. The toys seem like they are never sanitized. Outdoor toys are outdated and need replacing. Its very sad. They provide lunch but its worse than public food lunch. The bus drivers, cant drive. Constantly are on the phone and texting while kids are on the bus. Do you think the director cares? No. Do your research before you enroll.
