Terrible! Tony showed up late to our home inspection, and we had to call him to figure out where he was. He said that he didn’t realize we were going to be there, so he could just show up whenever. He missed lots of issues in the home inspection, like a mouse nest in the attic. For the mice, he was probably just ignoring issues to please the realtor, but this meant we didn’t discover the problem until we had already moved in. We got a radon inspection, and he didn’t send it until we nagged him about it(and Tony lied and said he had sent it already when he hadn’t). Also we had to bug him several times to write up the report before our appraisal deadline. Avoid! Dishonest, disrespectful of your time, and incompetent. Notice the glowing review from a realtor! That is a very bad sign for a home buyer…

As a real estate agent, I have had a lot of experiences with home inspectors and have seen the good as well as the bad. Many home purchasers are a little bit unfamiliar with what to look for in an inspector — since it isn’t a service provider we use many times in our lives. Here are the reasons why Tony and RN Home Tech are one of my top recommendations: — Knowledgable — coming from a lifetime background of property management and and related construction fields, Tony knows things about houses that you can only learn from experience. I am certain he has inspected hundreds if not thousands of homes of all ages, types, and sizes, and knows what to look for as well as knows when something isn’t an issue. — Reliable — In a fast paced real estate market we often need inspection reports quickly, and Tony delivers. He is also easy to schedule with by phone, text, or email. — Range of Services — Tony can do it all from swimming pool inspections, to termite and radon, which makes it very easy and convenient to schedule multiple inspections all at the same time. — Tech Savvy– Tony’s reports are very detailed and contain many pictures, he uses photos as a way to document the inspection which is much more efficient than someone stopping to take notes or even worse– providing a hand written inspection report. — Personable — Tony is a great communicator and effectively answers questions and explains as he inspects, which provides for a very educational inspection experience. He is easy to talk to and puts home purchasers at ease during what can be a somewhat stressful process. — Accessible — Tony is happy to answer questions days or months(even years) after an inspection, he truly is a great resource for anything home maintenance related and offers great recommendations on when and how to go about troubleshooting or addressing issues. While this isn’t something that is part of a home inspection, its very useful for homeowners who may not know who to ask, and it shows that he really does care about his clients. I’ve used Tony and RN Home Tech for dozens of inspections and I will keep doing so, because of the excellent service he provides and the informative and educational nature of the experience that he provides.
