You do not realize how many things you use your hand and elbow for, until you injure them. At least, for me, I took it for granted. When I ended up at Shady Grove hospital they recommended Shady Grove Orthopedics.
I was so impressed with the smooth running, well organized office. I could do most of the paperwork on the computer at home before my appointment. That is great, especially for one handed patients.
Then, there is Dr. Shrout, who is outstanding! He specializes in hands, wrists, and elbows. He is kind, thorough and professional. He listens and takes the patient into consideration. He gives great advice. I highly recommend him.
So, great office (Germantown) and fabulous doctor. A win, win situation. Now, if the hand would just get better !

Gretel is an excellent PT. She knows her stuff and communicates well with her patients in a no nonsense manner. The rest of the staff are also friendly and attentive.
