Donut Connection

Something about perfectly shaped donuts that gets to me.
Sure, I’ll eat them. But I really enjoy the ones from Donut Connection because even though they’re not that mom and pop’s bakery they still seem more legit to me; they’re uneven, look handmade, without a machine as those big donut shops I won’t mention.
The flavor is different, too, it reminds me of old bakery goods I used to get as a kid.

How can you go wrong with donuts?! They were fresh, offered a variety, and their coffee was delicious, too.

I believe these donuts are Atkin’s Approved. Okay maybe not.
This place is pretty good but reminds me more of a Dunkin Donuts. The flavors and packing are very similar.
I wish I had the same experience as the previously Unilocaler.
The donuts were okay but not as good as some of the establihments around the country I have visited.
There were just the basic flavors — no specialty flavors that I could recall.
Service — Great and fast
Price — inexpensive
Food — it was okay — not the best but not bad.

Donut Connection has a wide variety of really fresh, sweet (but not cloyingly sweet) donuts! We rushed out to get them to eat while watching our dvd of Twin Peaks, and they were so close to the house where we’re staying, and so fabulous!
We had powdered sugar (yum!), jelly donuts, (soft, and full in your mouth), «Homecut» a white-​cake glazed donut, which was fluffy and perfect, and coconut (amazing!!! — so soft, it melted in my mouth). The chocolate iced donut was my least favorite: it was not as chewy (perhaps not as fresh?), and not chocolatey-​enough for me. But, all the others were amazing.
You can download online coupons, such as: 6 donuts for $ 3.00; 2 donuts FREE with 1 Jumbo cup of coffee, which makes it even more attractive. (If I weren’t such a coffee snob, the latter would be a great deal, though to be honest, I haven’t tried their coffee, but I know I hate Dunkin’ Donuts’ coffee).
Parking in their lot is easy, and they’re open 24 hours, which is awesome for a late-​night sugar fix, for cops, for for those, like us, who are watching a dvd and NEED some donuts!
