I grew up playing at this course! I played for my high school team and was here a couple times a week. Granted it’s public not the nicest course. But it’s great for a fun time. Some hazards but overall great course to learn the sport. Many fond memories.

I was very disappointed in Madrona Links today. It’s been about 10 years since I’ve golfed there and was really looking forward to revisiting the course that holds many fond memories for me. It was in terrible shape, was overbooked and over priced.

Did not enjoy my round of golf here; Greens are inconsistent, tons of cut down branches and trees laying randomly around the course that need to be removed, and worst of all the pace of play. They allow groups of 5 to walk and play together which absolutely kills the pace of play. If you are looking for other golf courses in the area I would suggest Allenmore or Oak Brooke both much nicer public courses for around the same price.

Like this course. It has great deals. It’s pretty easy to play. I think it is pretty well maintained. It’s better than most of the other public courses around here.

This to me is a warm up course. If you are a beginner its great cause it is has lots of short par 4’s that will let you get there and shoot a low score. If you haven’t golfed in a while it is nice to go to get warmed back up. But even from the tips some of their par 4’s are drive-able. I can drive the 18th par 4 hole with my 4 iron. They have 7 par 4’s that are 303yrds or less from the white tee’s. I will bring my kids here when they get bigger and want to play on a «big course» But for the most part I will play here at most twice a year and that is if a buddy really wants to play it. I would rather go down the road and play McCormick Woods The staff thinks they are a nicer course then they are, but they should have pride in where they work.

Updated review: have gone back twice this summer and things have improved at this course. Greens fees and cart rates are reasonable, and most importantly, no more stodgy old men working the clubhouse, looking down their noses at anyone born after 1960. A fun course.

I’m a beginner so this is a course I won’t play often until I get better. There are some steep hills and forest areas so it’s challenging. The greens are pretty well maintained. The twilight special is pretty good and it’s only a few minutes from the Narrows Bridge. It’s a fun course to play and I recommend it.
