Came in because the reviews were really good, another great job by fellow Unilocalers! The parking was a bit of a pain, but at least we didn’t have to pay to park on the street. I was really exited to try their bacon cinnamon rolls, however they were out so I still can’t wait to try them. The service was fantastic, and they were great with families. I had a customer tell me that she was going to Gig Harbor for a brunch, and didn’t know where to go, so I sent her here, because I loved this place… Food was good, service was good, a little spendy, but worth it to me.

Everything was great! The end. J/k Had a family breakfast here today because someone in the family had insisted it was amazing. The restaurant is situated right on the water with outdoor dining but we ate inside. We were a party of 6 and half of us got a nice view facing said water. I ordered the Stuffed Biscuit add egg over easy. The biscuit was stuffed with Portuguese sausage and smothered in a the house gravy which was basically a bolognese sauce. It was soooooooo good if you like all those things with a little spicy kick to it. I had a latte to wash it all down, but someone had ordered the house made hot chocolate for all of us to try. Let’s say that they all tried it and I finished it. It was the best hot chocolate I had ever had in a restaurant. Sometimes fancy hot chocolates can be too bitter but this was just right. We placed an order of the bacon-stuffed cinnamon rolls to go. Those were awesome as well! I’m making someone go back and get me more! We had a funny server who took care of us. She was great. The whole breakfast experience was perfect. We only waited 20 minutes to get sat, but it could have been an hour and I wouldn’t have cares. It was totally worth it! I am definitely coming back and want to try the Free Ta-tas and the Apple Pie Waffles or pancakes or whatever the sin was. 5 stars well deserved!

My husband loves their stuffed biscuit! On my last visit I ordered the ricotta and sourdough pancake and it was delicious! We have had several different things on the menu and have been very pleased. I will say, if you are used to fried chicken and waffles, their chicken and waffles is very different. It’s not fried and the waffles aren’t a belgian type. It’s still good, but if you’re in the mood for the«traditional» deep fried chicken with waffles, this won’t satisfy that craving. But who knows, maybe it’ll be a new thing for you. The service is great and we will continue to dine here.

The stuffed biscuit will be the best biscuits and gravy you have ever had, no doubt!!! This is Our favorite breakfast place in Gig Harbor. Typical breakfast with a foodie flare to every dish. We usually all share because everything is so unique and tasty you just have too. Never tasted anything but heavenly awesomeness come out of the kitchen.

I have been here twice and both times the service left much to be desired. The first time I came the food was amazing(I got the fritata) so I was willing to forego good service for quality food. Unfortunately, the second time the food was not as good. I ordered the sausage in a biscuit and it came out not to temperature and the flavor just seemed off. I would be willing to try a third time if the service improved and was more organized. Both times I visited, at least 3 – 4 staff walked past us afyer we entered and just stared at my husband and I without asking«Can I help you?» Each time we can we waited at least 5 minutes before being greeted. I give three stars for poor service but decent food the first visit.

OMG! I loved this place! The hubby and I just went for a drive and stopped here based on the Unilocal reviews. The parking is horrible but we managed to score on in the actual lot. We were seated outside. It was a lovely summer day. We started with the cinnamon rolls. They were fantastic! And just the right size. They were not overly sweet and drowning in icing. Excellent cinnamon flavor too! The eggs were fine and the ingredients seemed fresh. Service was great. Would eat here again!

Our 1st visit here earned this place 5 starts. The service & lunch was beyond exceptional !! Today we made it a point to come & have breakfast here on our way to federal way. The breakfast was a let down on both entrees. I had the stuffed biscuit which was okay but nothing to brag about. My husband had the chiliquieties(lol, spelling) which was soggy, lacked consistency of beans, meat & cheese throughout. In fact he only took 3 bites & decided it wasn’t worth the carbs & we requested a refund. Our service was friendly but bare minimum as far as coffee refills & never came to the table to check in on us. We’ll definitely come back & hope for a better server & choice selection. At this time they haven’t earned a full 5 starts.

We watched the cinnamon rolls being made, and reflectively, I reallllly wish we had ordered them. Positives first: 1) I hate Orange Juice, but I love mimosas. As crazy as it sounds… BUT — holy crap. Their mimosas make me a changed OJ lovin woman. I don’t know what they do, or purchase, but their mimosas are THE best I’ve ever had. And trust me, my liver has written it’s congressman over 100 times begging for me to stop drinking them and for a pardon. NODEALLIVER. 2) The kids pancakes are a steal @$ 4. They are large and plentiful, and my toddler ran a train on them. 3) OMG the service. The atmosphere. Everything — it’s amazing. You can’t not be happy being here. Negative: 1) We ordered the chilaquiles to share — and to be honest, there was little to no chorizo, which is my favorite thing in the world and only reason we ordered it. I was pretty disappointed with this dish, but since our server, and dayummm… those mimosas, were so delicious, it didn’t matter enough for me to give this place anything less than 4 stars. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area.

We had our first breakfast experience Thursday morning. I had an inkling that it was gonna be good based on past reviews. So we find our parking out on the street because from the main road you can’t see that there is more than enough parking right down the hill in front of the restaurant. We walked in and were met by a friendly girl who was accommodating to my picky seating needs so I «wouldn’t be cold.» We browsed the menu… gotta say that if I had… ONE…and, only one complaint… I don’t care for the set up of the menu. It was not separated by breakfast and lunch. All of the dishes were intermeshed on both sides of the menu making it slightly more difficult to find items you may want or be looking for. So…I ordered the hash, the kiddo got the waffle and the last dish was the dish with chorizo(which we later found out is smoked in house). Oh… and the cinnamon rolls which are made right there on the counter in front of you. Baked in individual cast iron pans and brought to the table piping hot! Heavenly is an understatement! I am not exaggerating when I say that each individual item can be tasted and compliments the next perfectly. The entire experience was great. Oddly we wound up outside, which wound up being the 3rd table move… it, was beautiful and the sun came out while we were there making everything that much better. Give this place a try! Don’t pass up the house made salsa either!

This is a one of a kind place, a must visit for locals and tourists. This is, by far, the best menu I’ve ever experienced. The copy has been crafted brilliantly. So many great options, you’ll want to order your #2 option for a second meal later that day. The view over the harbor is refreshing. Enjoy

Maybe I should keep my mind a bit more open, but when I order chicken and waffles– I expect a nice pile of fried chicken on a mountain of fluffy waffles. Instead, there were some pieces of grilled, season chicken on what I can only consider«okay» waffles. They’re definitely going for something different here– a blend of classy and the classics– and while the location is prime, I would go here for a classy little brunch with the ladies when you’re not too hungry rather than when craving a big old American breakfast.

Came on a Sunday morning and had a short 10 minute wait for a table. Coffee was tasty and the special orange cinnamon rolls were very good. Happy with our food choices but agree with others that there are few vegetarian options. There are great options for the children’s menu. We will definitely return.

He came on Father’s Day and it was super busy. We read great reviews so we were expecting to be blown away. We waited an hour and a half for a table for 5 on the deck and it took 10 – 15 minutes till someone greeted us. We ordered and waited 5 mins for one mimosa to come out… Not the two mimosas we ordered, just one delivered at the time. Waited 5 more minutes for waters, coffee, and second mimosa and she did not even come with my dad’s beer. Food actually came out faster than I thought it would of. –We got stuffed biscuit — it was ok, nothing to rave about. –Chiqua… Can’t spell it. My mom was wishing it had more egg. –ricotta pancake — it was good, but couldn’t tell the difference between a regular pancake and that. –sausage burger — it was OK, nothing to rave about. –French toast? It was on sourdough, which was liked, but but a little too sweet. Mimosas were good, my sister loved the roast for espresso and restaurant has a soy option. Was never asked if we needed more water or more mimosas or a beer… Bill just came out so I guess we were done drinking there. It was nice to try and a nice view, but we will probably not come back. Place is also dog friendly.

Crossed the bridge into Gig Harbor on a lovely summer day to sit on their outdoor deck. What a lovely space it was with great views of the harbor and of Mt. Rainier. Pros: view, outdoor seating, and really good service. Cons: limited options for vegetarians(only sweets were available without meat) and average quality food and drinks. My husband and I ordered two egg dishes without all the meat. The quality was okay but honestly it was something you can get at ihop. The chia tea latte was bland and tasted mostly of milk and not the spice. The espresso was average also. Overall we wouldn’t come here again unless we were craving a little patio time… it is great for that.

Beautiful location. We ordered ricotta pancakes, pb&j waffles, stuffed biscuit, and the hash. Everything was excellent. Friendly staff. Didn’t get the bacon cinnamon roll but that looked awesome. Highly recommend this spot. Breakfast with Parv

My handy dandy Unilocal app pointed me in the correct culinary direction yet again, and I was more than pleased with myself for relying on it. Came here as the first stop to our Spring Break road trip to the Pacific Coast. We drove down and around to the Olympic Peninsula rather than taking the Edmonds ferry across, and stopped here for a late breakfast. The view was gorgeous, and we arrived around 9 just in the nick of time before the crowd arrived. My favorite was the delicious cinnamon rolls with BACON!(The«with bacon» part is a special offered only on weekends, I am told). It was a «skillet» of cinnamon rolls and honestly, I was surprised when it arrived at how small the skillet was However, they were pretty decadent rolls so splitting them amongst the 6 of us wasn’t so bad. It’s been about a month, so I can’t recall exactly what it was that I ordered(I believe it was a pork hash but there is no menu online for me to verify). Anyways, I recall being extremely satisfied with the quality of the food. You can’t go wrong!

This place is at an awesome location and has a great view if you sit outside. We all got the cinnamon rolls to start. When I think cinnamon rolls, I think really goey frosting, but these didnt have that, it was like they were lightly coated with melted sugar. Which is fine I guess, if you want sugar bread vs. actual cinnamon rolls. Im a vegetarian, so it was pretty limited on what I could eat here. I was definitely feeling more of eggs and starch since this was a hangover morning, so the waitress suggested I get the frittata without meat. I think the meat must really make the frittata worth eating, because it was really bland and mediocre. The o’brien potatoes that come with it too are just, eh. The have a really limited menu; I was wondering if I could get a biscuit on the side and that was not doable. They also don’t serve hard alcohol, so no bloody marys… just red beer with no trimmings. I definitely wouldnt say this is the best breakfast/brunch place, but then again I am coming from a meat-less, alcoholic view.

This place blew my mind last Saturday. I honestly can’t remember the last time I have been so pleased with a meal. Seriously. My boyfriend and I were talking about it all day. Everything is on point. The inside is so cute, clean and open. The restaurant is right on the water with gorgeous views. The walls are painted a nice light blue and there is a nice nautical theme going on inside. Service is very friendly and prompt. The kitchen is open and you can watch the chefs cook if you are seated at a table close enough. I had the sourdough and ricotta pancake. It came with two strips of bacon and potatoes O’Brien. I don’t usually like potatoes O’Brien but these were dang good. The pancake was out of this world. Soft, fluffy, and melt in your mouth. Boyfriend had the chicken and waffles. I was expecting some deep fried chicken, but it was lightly fried and came with this spicy slaw that was to die for. I’ve had chicken and waffles before and I always thought they were gross and heavy, but this version of it blew my mind. It wasn’t too heavy at all and the flavors were unique. The portions are a great size and are not too overwhelming. We both finished our meals and left very satisfied, but not overly stuffed. For 10:30 on a Saturday we didn’t have to wait for a table which was impressive. You can’t miss out on this gem if you want a to die for breakfast with excellent service and ambience. Also order the cinnamon rolls if you have room! Pretty much every table besides us got them and they looked so so good. We are definitely coming back and splitting the cinnamon rolls as an appetizer :)
