This was the second time I have called Mike for help with my heating system. He is always on time and always very thorough. His prices are more then fair. I was so surprised by the cost I asked if he was sure that was all I owed him.
Mike will always be my number one choice for this type of work. Totally satisfied with his work.

I can not recommend Providence Heating high enough. We just purchased this house and the heater would not work. We were connected to Mike through our home warranty and how lucky we are. Mike replaced our 20+ year old heater very quickly and thoroughly tested it. He found some problems with our heater ducts and he really went to extra efforts to resolve the problems. He found that the heater return air ducts were plugged with insulation when the house was built. I watched in disbelieve as he pulled mounds of disgusting filthy insulation from the air ducts. I am so shocked that 2 previous owners had lived here for over 20 years with the heating system so broken. Only by Mike’s diligence was this problem fixed after over 20 years. Mike is aces !

Fantastic service and price. Mike was very quick to respond and explained the service throughly. We thought our heating system needed repairs but Mike said no and made some simple adjustments and cleaning. We couldn’t be happier and recommend him highly.

When the system died, I had to find somebody to fix it. I came here to Unilocal and found a few good reviews on a local business & am darn glad I did. I contacted Mike at Providence Heating & Cooling, based on reviews here and on the website he has — straightforward, no fluff.
Response was quick, work was explained thoroughly and costs were up front. A job well done at a reasonable rate, by a nice man. Yep — that’s as good as it gets.

Excellent service and follow-​through. Mike came out and worked on my heat pump and furnace and did an excellent job. It was timely and reasonably priced. He tuned up the head pump and furnace and replaced one part on the heat pump. It was worked great after he serviced it. Thank you for being a professional and guaranteeing your work.

Honest & straightforward, they don’t try to upsell you if your system is fine. We had a concern with our heat pump so we called Providence.
Providence came out a week later and spent a good 3 – 4 hours servicing my system, replacing some bits here and valves there that were worn. I felt the technician was thorough and honest with the evaluation of my system. They are not an overpromise/​underdeliver shop.
Would recommend and will use again.

Very happy with this company. I was having problems with my heat turning on, and they came out and changed my thermostat and all working fine. In as expecting a huge bill, he also serviced the furnace and it is running like new. I am glad I called this company, they could have been dishonest and charged me a lot of money, but they were very honest, fixed the problem, and didn’t try to sell me things I didn’t need.

The furnace and heat pump at one of my rentals in Gig Harbor broke during the recent cold spell. I had called some larger companies that I had worked with in the past and was met with a total lack of concern or urgency, not to mention jacked up prices due to the weather. Mike at Providence Heating stepped in, made my tenants a priority, and got them heat within a matter of hours.
He also worked with the home warranty company I use for payment. Couldn’t have asked for a better solution. Providence is my new HVAC company for Gig Harbor.
