Soundview Barbers

I found Soundview Barbers after my last and final trip to Hair Masters in Gig Harbor. I was literally sick from the women sneezing on me during my haircut, and sick of the way my hair looked when they were done. Gail, the owner of Soundview, told me she wouldn’t even consider hiring someone if that was their main source of experience. From the very first cut I could see the difference! I was treated as the most important person sitting in her chair at that moment and not like some interruption to her day. Gail said that it would probably take about two to three cuts to undo the shoddy ones I had received before. She is a busy women, so now I mostly see Sheryl, and let me tell you, she has made a nasty cowlick of mine virtually disappear! That is a true artist. I would highly recommend this place.

I discovered this place when I moved to Gig Harbor about a year ago. The barbers are friendly, but not over-​chatty, and the cuts are good and at the right prices. Gail is the owner and tells customers like it is. Not abrasive; just honest. All the barbers there are good, and I’ve used them all at one time or another. Overall, a great place to get your hair cut.

I have been going to Soundview Barbers for about 4 years. I usually have Gail cut my hair, but I have also had cuts from the other barbers and they did a great job. It’s a friendly, comfortable atmosphere and senior friendly too!
Gail and her staff are always cordial and they have a nice business. I always enjoy catching up with Gail on community matters. She does a great job!

I believe her name was Liliana that cut my toddler’s son’s hair. She was excellent with him. Very patient and listened to all my demands. My son loved there little play area.

Been here 4 times over a couple of years, whenever I’m in town and need a cut these are my favorites… great staff, good value, excellent work… Gail and Lilly will do you right!

I just moved to Gig Harbor and was looking for a new barber. I didn’t really like my old barber on the other side of the bridge, so I was open to anyone. I checked out what Unilocal had, and only 2 barbers had reviews, so I randomly picked these guys. I can say that I was VERY pleased with my haircut. Gail cut my hair and she was quick and did a great job. Part of getting a haircut is chit-​chat, and Gail didn’t fail to deliver. I’m not a huge fan of talking to people I don’t know, so it’s important that someone doesn’t pry. Gail managed to keep conversation going without invading my personal space. Right there she earned her tip.
My only complaint was I felt the haircut was a bit pricy, but I’m willing to pay for quality, and I found it here.

Doesn’t get any better than Gail and Lilly. Great atmosphere for kids and adults, including a kids’ play area to keep them entertained. None of that toxic hair salon smell that you get at the big chain places.
Just a nice simple place to get a great haircut and good conversation.
