Canyon Pediatrics Gilbert

If I could give them no stars I would. The doctors are nice and always kind to my son. The front office on the other hand is rude and disorganized. I have had several problems with them and if they weren’t close and we weren’t already an established patient we would have left forever ago. The, medical records lady wouldn’t send me my son’s medical records to myself without a signed release and then they wouldn’t send me the signed release because «how would they know it was really me?» which is funny because anytime I walk in and ask they never asked to see a form of ID to «prove» I am who I say I am. Also I have never been yelled at by a dr’s staff as much as I have been yelled at by them. Also there have been multiple occasions I have stepped in to get something and they have to search all of their drawers to find the paperwork that they said they had ready for me. This place is awful and I am so glad to no longer be taking my son to this disorganized mess they try to disguise as a Dr office.

This doctor’s office is exactly what I needed in a pediatric doctor. We have been going to the Gilbert location 3yrs. My son has asthma. It was important to me to find a doctor that didn’t want to just Ioad him up with meds all year. I am happy to say the doctors listen to what’s important to you. They don’t keep you waiting more than 5 minutes once you check in. Not the fanciest office but its clean. The staff is very helpful and friendly. If I need a same day appointment they get us in. We usually see Brittany Snow the PA at the Gilbert office. My 7yr old daughter and 8yr old son love her. She is really listens and has genuine concern. Her diagnosis is always right on.

Don’t freak out and call me insane or cruel, but i don’t have health insurance anymore, (long story) and yes i have kids. anyway, my daughter got sick and we just wanted to get her checked out and called a few places and told them we were cash paying and need to see a doctor, with out having to go to an urgent care and wait hours. canyon is great they get your kids in quick and they are $ 60 for a visit. I still don’t think doctors have a clue what they are doing, but they put my wife at ease and we were on our way. and i don’t have a $ 800 month premium to pay either. just one way i am sticking it to the man, don’t fall for the scare tatics.
