Was here the other day, I showed the manager that my drink had a long blond hair in it, not only was she rude but made a face like I was bothering her because of it. never going back to that location!

This place is horrible!.. I went in there to buy a drink and the manager was completely unprofessional. I don’t recommend this place to anyone. Floors were dirty and employees are rude.

This is the worst place ever to get a boba drink. Found a beetle in my drink. At first I thought it was a boba but then realized it had legs and was crawling ! Approached the manager. I think her name was Catherine. Totally unprofessional. She accused me of putting it in there. I would never recommend anyone going to this trashy place. Why are they in Santan village? I have no clue.

I’m happy that boba is finally making its way to the rest of the east valley, I’ve been driving to chandler to sate my boba cravings! I like the branding and everything I have gotten has been delicious. It isn’t your typical boba place though, you wont be able to get an avocado snow or a thai tea. They have like a «mixed drink» sort of menu, I think to appeal more to the gilbert crowd. I think the price point was a bit higher than Lee’s sandwiches or Bosa, but their drinks are yummy :)

Though I’ve only been here a hand full of times, every time I’ve tried something new and I’ve yet to be disappointed by anything I’ve gotten for myself(personally I didn’t like the Taro that my boyfriend got though, quite bland). By far the best milk tea I’ve had in Arizona. The fact that they have several different flavors of popping boba, great and quick customer service and so many incredible combinations to choose from puts them above all the boba places I’ve tried in Arizona. Well worth the drive.

One of the better places of all in Phoenix, Tempe, Chandler and Gilbert to get Boba. Reminds me of Half and Half Boba in So Cal with the large wide cups that don’t fit in the cup holders in your car. Located in San Tan Shopping Center close to Johnny Rockets, It is a nice clean shop that does not have the look of a plain boba shop but they deliver a great product worthy of most So Cal Boba places. Had the Milk Tea Boba and the Strawberry Slush with small tapioca which both were very good. The Strawberry Slush tapioca was almost too much but were pretty good, will try it next time without the tapioca to see the difference. We live in North Scottsdale where there is no Boba places but the drive to San Tan Village Shopping Center is quite the drive of almost an hour, hopefully they will open one up in North Scottsdale which we would visit quite often.

I tried this place for the first time last Sunday. Their menu is huge! We were attracted by their honey boba but it was all out! So we had to get the vanilla, which just tasted like the regular but white.

I am in love with this place. Drinks are so yummy! SO, I’m really picky with boba joints but saw the ratings on this place it struck me to try. We had the coffee drinks. It usually comes with a mix of boba and coffee jelly but we opted for straight jelly. Perfect coffee flavor and sweetness. It’s dessert in a cup and totally worth every penny. Service was fast and friendly. The place is so adorable as well. Love. Love. LOVE! Will be back again soon. I hope they remain consistent to the first visit we had. Cute and delicious drinks. GO get one! NOW! PS. This is not a drink to buy and get in the car to drive off to the sunset. The cups does not fit into a regular size cup holder.

Really cute place. Portion sizes were bigger than I expected and a little more $ than I was expecting as well, but it is really a nice place. There are a lot of drinks to choose from. I tried the Snow Bowl which is Almond/Vanilla Bean/Black Tea with the boba. Very mild, but good. I am looking forward to trying other things. My only negative is the design layout of the ordering. You walk in and order at the other end of the counter. It was pretty crowded when we went, so it was a bit confusing where to go. Overall though the customer service was good and I like their product. Excited to try some more things!

While the prices are a little crazy, I love this place! My favorite drink is a Cloud 9 with ½ honey boba and ½ passion fruit poppers. I probably don’t want to know how much sugar it has but I don’t care, it’s delicious!

Such a fantastic addition to the San Tan Mall! Absolutely delicious boba tea with a plethora of options! This is perfect for Arizona weather and an outside mall. The prices are a little cheeky but the service is nice, and they are pretty fast and absolutely delicious! Will definitely be coming back.

Great Boba Option Was in Gilbert, walked by Fat Straw at San Tan Village, and had to try. Bright and airy store with young ladies who are very nice. To my request for no milk, they said all their stuff is dairy free and the honey they use is sourced locally. Excellent! Let us try more! Wife, girls, and I had the(1) Taro,(2) Love Story, and a(3) Snow Bowl. The Taro and Love Story were both Panda Style with white and black boba. Flavors were awesome with a good taste without being overpowered by sweetness, like most places. Related, they really do a great job with their boba pearls– perfectly cooked, not hard nor falling apart, and not overly sweet due to soaking in sugar. The space is good for small groups, but would be hard to sit and work. Oddly, you also can’t tip. I tried and the young ladies said they don’t accept and they are happy to serve us. Nice!

I’m a big fan for the Original with white boba. I have tried pretty much everything from the creamy menu, and I love mostly all of them. However, Matchacha is not my taste. The Enchanted Chai is also good. Staff are amazing with outstanding customer service. By far this place is the most favorite boba stop for me, even better than my stop shops in Socal. Don’t forget to take advantage of 10% off for checking in

I stopped in at Fat Straw while walking around San Tan Village. It’s normally really busy so I jumped at the chance when I saw only a couple of people already in line. I got the Baby Fat Enchanted Tea with Vanilla Boba. I’ve never had Vanilla Boba before but it was good!. Apparently they’re one of the only stores that have it! The Enchanted Tea was nice too, sweet but not overly so. The woman who rang up my order was really nice & it didn’t take too long to get my order. I think it was a bit pricey as expected. I’d recommend checking them out if you’re a fan of boba drinks!

Bees, Winnie the Pooh, and humans alike flock to Fat Straw for honeylicious boba tea! Their honey combed themed décor is attractive, but I keep coming back for their excellent quality boba and flavored drinks. I have never been disappointed. And I would know, because I’m a boba connoisseur.

Can not get enough of Fat Straw!!! All the drinks are yummy! Janessa has been a rock star the last couple of visits taking our orders. All the staff is friendly. Make sure you find a drink you like. They are unique, and you have to find one you love. Have patience and visit a few times. I know that’s hard for us Americans.

I was on my way out of town but had a bit of time to kill in that area… I saw the good reviews and that they had wifi and decided to swing by. Turned out, they dont offer public wifi. The drink cup was hard to hold with one hand while i had to drag a luggage. and the drink was too sweet and pretty pricey. I should’ve gone to another place to kill time…

Cute place, amazing marketing, great branding, friendly service and the wide cups are neat. It’s also nice that they added more life to this part of the shopping center, which has needed a boost since the food court closed years ago. The drinks were okay, but didn’t blow me away as anticipated by the reviews. I also think that the prices were a bit high. Still, worth a visit if you are in this area.

I love the Machacha and the Cali Girl with boba. Not a fan of popping boba(which are filled with different flavor… ask them for a sample… and they pop in your mouth when you munch on them). Their boba is very soft and gummy(which I love it that way). The regular boba milk tea and the White Teas are great. Their small is a Mini(but it is big); the regular is like super big.

First off, I’m from California, so my boba standard is sort of obnoxious. As a Boba/bubble tea expert, I’m going to say that the boba here needs A LOTOFWORK. They claimed to have«honey boba». I thought it was more«soggy boba». Hopefully this will improve over time because they are still pretty new! Atmosphere: clean, hip, typical asian boba shop kinda feel. Good for social gatherings for small groups. Service: since they’re so new, the servers seem like they are a little clueless about the menu. They do have a lot of people working at once, so your drinks will be made promptly. We came in with a pretty big group for 8 – 9 people and they handled that well! Drinks: you saw my rant above about their boba quality… Thai tea: YUM! they got this right! It was perfect 5⁄5 Matchacha: decent 3⁄5 Their original milk tea(i forgot the exact name) 1⁄5 it was way too sweet Overall, pretty pricy for mediocre quality boba, but I’ll give them another try in the future and provide an update!!! I still have hope in Arizona’s boba quality!!!
