Anywhere you can go to and get a brew and a… breakfast pot pie??? at 6:00am is my kinda joint. Now look, you don’t go here to get crunk and load up on the sauce… but you go here to begin your journey to pure black out bliss by 2:00PM on any Saturday. I am a fan of anywhere that has down to earth servers and fire pits in the front yard. If you’re creeping in the area or just looking to get nice at a chill spot… get on your horse and ride.

Came in here last Sunday around eleven knowing it was going to be a wait. I was quoted 45 – 60 minutes but I was prepared. I decided to hang out by the bar and wait for a spot to watch the football game. I’ve heard nothing but amazing reviews here and have been wanting to try Snooze for a long time. I waited for about twenty minutes until two seats freed up for me and my girlfriend. We both ordered the Benny Duo and a Spicy Bloody Mary. I was craving a Bloody Mary all week and boy did snooze deliver. It was spicy enough to keep it interesting and I ordered two more! The food was out of this world good! Best breakfast in Arizona! I haven’t had Benny’s this good in Arizona EVER. We also had two bartenders who were clearly swamped with people but catered to us every few minutes. They were positive and cracking jokes with one another. Made it pleasant to be next to. They were amazing. Highly recommend snooze! I love the up beat music and the modern style. Definitely a hip place to take your date out for brunch. I preferred the bar area because the backyard seemed to be where all the kids were. No thanks! Will come back lots and lots more!

This is a great place. Delicious food. Good service. I had the Green Eggs n Hammie, would definitely recommend it. My wife’s yogurt parfait and grapefruit crème brûlée looked equally delicious. They also have a really cool outside patio area with games. Would come again. The only downside is it’s a tad on the expensive side for us. Other than that, it was a great experience.

Very good food. The pancakes were ok. Very sweet and heavy. They were good I just prefer them lighter and fluffier. But overall. We will be back.

The wait for this place was 20ish min on a Saturday, so not the worst but also not the best. I hear downtown Gilbert is getting super popular with the new hipster shops and restaurants popping up, so maybe this is the new normal for the area. The place is eye-catching, and the décor is trendy with pops of orange accents. The weather was gorgeous out, so we were able to sit outside and take in a little sun while we were waiting already starving haha. We were told there was complimentary coffee while we waited, but it was out and we kind of just stood there looking awkward and waiting for them to refill We all had variations of the benedicts, and were pleased but not blown away. We all agreed it was solid and could definitely compare to the bennies in SF that we endured an hour-long wait for. Seems like a solid place to hang out with friends for breakfast or brunch.

Place is awesome. Pretty new and this was my first time but this is my new favorite breakfast place. Food was delicious and the atmosphere is great. Importantly the venue is very clean. I’ve had the cocktails and they’re very good.

My husband and I tried snooze for the first time this morning. To our relief we were sat immediately(I read other reviews before going and was expecting at least an hour wait). Good start to the morning. Our waitress was very friendly and very attentive and explained the menu since we said it was our first time attending the restaurant. Once we ordered, the food was out surprisingly fast for how busy it was. Now, I would have given this 5 stars if it were based solely on atmosphere and wait service, but… The food was nothing that I was impressed with. Even the opposite. My husband ordered the omg French toast and a side of bacon(which he enjoyed). I ordered the basic eggs, hash browns, toast and bacon. My eggs that were poached tasted as if I was dipping them vinegar. Wasn’t sure if this was just how it was or not, but not my liking.(Side note: was told later that it was used to keep the shape, but I would rather flat eggs that taste delicious than the vinegar drenched flavor I had) Anyways, the toast with jelly was great. Then my bacon was super sweet which I thought was weird(hoping for a salty relief from the sweetness of the jelly, but found none there). My husband even said his tasted different and not as sweet as mine which I would have loved(no chance to try his as he ate them very quickly). Overall, coffee was good and service was great, but I left feeling unsatisfied. I would like to give it another try maybe someday, but it will be far down the list of breakfast choices for me.

I just went here for the first time yesterday, and it was New Year’s Eve. The food looked amazing from the menu and other posts. I understand that it was a holiday, and I forgive that a bit, however, the table to my left and the table to my right arrived after me, ordered after me, received their meals AND their bills before I received my meal. I waited a full minutes after ordering to get my meal. The standard is 18 – 20. The server, manager nor the person who delivered my meal did not bother to acknowledge the fact that I waited a ridiculously long time to receive my meal. This is not an acceptable practice to me. Now that I’ve vented, the lukewarm food I received was very good. It probably would have been better if it was hot. I still want to go back and try other menu items, and probably will. Perhaps by then, they’ll have worked out some of the kinks and I can up this review to 4 – 5 stars.

Everyone talks about Snooze for brunch, so I came with some friends to try it out. We came right at the rush, and the place was packed. Luckily the first person who arrived already put down a table, so we waited probably 20 – 30 minutes at most. While you wait, help yourself to coffee, which is off to the right when you walk in. I thought it was a very nice note of hospitality to customers. We got seated to a nice comfy booth, but since we were catching up with each other, it took us a while to make our orders. Nonetheless, the server was patient with us. Some friends who had visited before said that the eggs Benedict were good, so I went with the Ham Benedict. It was definitely true to legend, and I ate it all up! The eggs were the perfect level of runny, and the English muffin sopped it up nicely. The only thing that was a little off was the hash browns were a bit salty, and that was the general opinion around the table, but we are all looking forward to brunch here again!

I went with some old high school friends to catch up and enjoy some brunch. It had just recently opened so it was insanely packed, so it took about 40 min just to get a seat! I got the breakfast burrito, and it was enormous! It could probably feed a small village for a meal. The burrito itself was just your standard affair of breakfast ingredients with a southwestern twist of beans, pico de gallo, and green chile sauce. I had a bite of my friend’s order of sweet potato pancakes, and let me tell you, those suckers were rich! I definitely don’t think I could have finished it if I had ordered them myself, but they were absolutely delicious. Overall, the portions were huge(even by American standards), the décor and atmosphere was trendy yet homey, and the staff was very friendly. I would definitely go again for my brunch fix.

I was intrigued by the long lines and wanted to see what was up with the Snooze hype. I put my name down at 12pm on a Saturday and was told that there would be a 1.2 hour wait. We decided to go to Postino where there was no wait and delicious food. But I was still so curious about the popularity of Snooze. I kept myself on the waitlist and as we were closing out our check at Postino, I got a text from Snooze. We decided that we were going to brunch hop and made our way over to Snooze. It was still heavily packed, but we got a really nice table outside next to the lawn games: corn hole, ping pong and mini golf. We were interested in the pancake flight and ordered the sweet potato pancake, the OMG French toast and the blueberry pancake. Similar to the wait for getting a seat at Snooze, they definitely make you wait for your food. It took almost an hour since we placed our order for the food to arrive. Then we realized we didn’t have silverware and we waited another 15 minutes for that. I understand that being busy means great business, but still! I think I ended up eating some of the pancakes with my fingers so it wouldn’t get cold, cave person style. The pancake flight was decent, but after waiting so long, I am now hesitant to return. The only really cool addition was Balloons by Tim who comes around to businesses to make balloon sculptures for kids of all ages. My sister loves Toad from Mario Brothers and he made one for me to give her. :)

The food was TODIEFOR! My friend had breakfast pot pie and loved it. I had the pick 2 eggs Benedict. The salmon was amazing! Barbacoa was really good but out shined by the salmon. Breakfast cocktails were also tasty. Service was good. No complaints at all. We both look forward to coming back.

5 million stars for this cute little place ! I had the drunken punken pancakes $ 7.50 the pannycakes were as big as the plate. The pumpkin pie spice was strong & proud, mixed with the velvety cream cheese. This was a definite party on a plate coffee was great and served with real cream. I can’t wait to come back and try one of the Benedict items

I enjoyed two cups of coffee and the front lobby ambience here this morning, for an hour, as I waited for my table and watched people who came in before me get seated… before me.(We’d requested a table for two, at the first available spot: inside, outside, at the bar… didn’t care.) We kept checking our text messages as we thought maybe we’d missed our text alert that our table was ready. Nope, we hadn’t missed anything. Yet people were walking in and being taken right back because their party, by blind luck, happened to fit the correct size requirements for the table that was currently available. I know I wasn’t alone in my anger and confusion over why people who came in after me were being seated after me because I watched a steady stream of other waiting patrons walk up to check on what was going on with their table too. This seating arrangement seems grossly unfair. Did I mention that I did this for an hour before I finally got mad and left? And the kicker? When we finally told them to cancel our table and that we were leaving BOOM a table for 2 was suddenly available! I was at the Snooze in downtown Denver two weeks ago where I enjoyed amazing food, stellar service and our party was seated in 15 minutes flat, with none of this seating stupidity. Get your shit together, Snooze-Gilbert. Honestly…

I got here pretty early on a weekday — a little before 8am — and it wasn’t crowded at all. However, over the next 90 minutes, the place filled up almost completely. That’s a pretty good sign, but also a good thing to keep in mind: if you can get out of bed early, do it and you’ll spend far less time waiting and more time EATING! I started off with coffee, which was hot and had good flavor. It was kept constantly topped off and warm(bonus points!) I read through the whole menu. Twice. I finally narrowed it down to 4 options and then chose the first one of those(so that it would be easy to keep track of which one I already had ordered — see? Planning ahead. I had the corned beef hash with two eggs and rye toast. The corned beef was awesome. If you’re also a fan, this is worth it. The Reuben sandwich is probably amazing, too, since I’d imagine it uses the same flavorful, fall-apart beef product and thick-cut rye bread. Since it was my first time there(I guess this is a thing?), the server brought us a pancake to try. It was their signature pineapple upside down pancake — that was one of the options on my short list(more bonus points!)… And it was excellent. If you are familiar with places that make heavy pancakes, this is not one of those. The pancake was large, about the size of the plate, but light. The add-ins and toppings weren’t overpowering, either. So many times, you’ll get a nice pancake, but it is almost floating in syrup, butter, or who-knows-what topping(I’m looking at you, IHOP!). Not so here. I think the ratio was very well balanced. There is so much good stuff on the menu that I couldn’t order it all in one sitting. Well, I could ORDER all of it, but My attempt to EAT all of it would not be pretty … So, I guess I have to go back(twist my arm, you know?) Now that I’ve checked it out, and the weather is cooling off, I am looking forward to taking the family here. Did I mention that they have outdoor seating on the back patio? Woo hoo!

I can actually say now that the coffee is great at snooze I got it in San Diego Well I am back in Gilbert hoping that the third time is a charm and I have to say it was. Angel our server was wonderful we both have 3 different kinds of Benedict and a cinnamon roll pancake all was wonderful. I will surely come back And no I did not take the managers offer previously for the meal on them

So I’ve been to Snooze enough times to finally write a review. I’ve been to this location once, Town & Country(Camelback’s) location a number of times, San Diego, and even the location in Colorado where it first originated. I’m giving some love to this one since it’s not saturated with 500+ or 2000+ or even 3000+(San Diego) reviews yet. That 3000+ speaks volume. But I can say that my review for all the Snooze locations have been pretty even across the board in terms of quality in the making and creations of such deliciousness! The service for me(in all locations) have been wonderful for such a busy breakfast hang out spot. Luckily, they do provide complimentary coffee to their awaiting hangry customers. You will wait and that’s no surprise! However, the bar does provide fist-come-first-serve seating. Grab away, but try not to hoover over the people still trying to enjoy their brunch or company. I’ll try to remember what I’ve devoured in lump sum. I’ll start with my favorite off the savory. I love their Benedicts! Being indecisive at times, they do give you the Benny Duo option, which means half of one choice and half of another. I have tried them all! Yes all! I usually would go for the most interesting(versus common) Benedict. The Chile Verde Benedict(pulled pork) is probably my favorite for more of a daring meaty option. It’s not spicy, which is good for me. And if you’re just not feeling for something heavy, I would definitely recommend the Caprese Benedict(heirloom tomatoes and mozzarella). Very light and refreshing for a Benedict, yet full of flavor! Something about that Balsamic reduction brings it together! But really, any choice you can’t go wrong with. If you didn’t like it, my bad. Don’t be picky! Moving on, the Quinoa Porridge! Yes! As strange as it sounds, it’s actually pretty good to me. Don’t know what Quinoa is? Then that means you should try it once. It looks like oatmeal from afar mixed in with oats. Texture is similar to oatmeal. It’s got some sweetness of pecans, lemon shortbread, and fresh strawberries to mix in with. Probably a perfect dish for my fellow lulu lemon heads. I have also had their simple 3 eggs whites scrambled entrée. It comes with hash browns, toast, and choice of meat. This is very simple and yet still delicious. A perfect option for your plain Janes and Joe Schmos out there. And finally, the pancakes and French Toast! The OMG French Toast is quite sweet and huge! It’s got strawberries, mascarpone, and sweet sauces of caramel and vanilla crème drizzled. This was shared as a dessert. Now the pancakes… same problem with the Benedicts. Can’t decide? There is a flight of 3 option. You can pick and choose your top 3 victims. They are smaller in size, but worth the taste of 3 pancakes. The one I can’t get enough of is the Pineapple Upside Down pancake! MMmmmmm! If you do order that as a single choice option, you will get 2 of them the size enough to cover your face. Down it down with some of that chai iced latte and you are set!

My fiancé and I visited snooze on a Saturday around noon and it was packed. Hostess quoted us 30⁄40 minutes. It ended up being about an hour, but in all fairness we only wanted to sit inside because they didn’t have misters and it was hot. It was first time at Snooze and our sever Arianna surprised us with their strawberry shortcake pancake. It was AWESOME. I got the pancake flight and tried the blueberry Danish pancake, the pineapple upside down cake pancake and a normal chocolate chip pancake. All were so fluffy and delightful. For me the pineapple upside down cake would be one to skip in be future but I fell in love with the other ones. Also had a mimosa with pomegranate liquor and that was refreshing. My fiancé got something called snooze spud deluxe(or something like that) and he really enjoyed it as well. He got the Kentucky Coffee too and said it was good if you like strong espresso. Arianna was so sweet. She gave us the perfect amount of attention. After the wait we had I was nervous about our server being too busy but she really took care of us. We will definitely be back!
