Touch of Tranquility Massage

I’ve been here three times and I never had any bad experiences or massage. I had carol take care of me today and she was the best. I told her my neck and upper back was bothering me. I didn’t tell her what pressure level I wanted she already knew how I wanted it. I’m a small person and very petite so I’m pretty sensitive when it comes to massages. Everything went great and I don’t have a stiff neck anymore. All of my pain went away! Thank you carol! Oh and what I love about this place is that they dont bother me with memberships unlike other massage places such as LaVida, Massage envy, etc… You cant go wrong with the prices here also. Finally found a massage place that I absolutely love :)

I have visited at least a dozen times over the past few years and each time was happy I did. I don’t schedule service with a specific therapist because each one I’ve had has been heavenly. I prefer a very deep/​therapeutic massage, although I’ve also had several excellent prenatal massages as well. To top it off, at only $ 60/​hour with no memberships you can’t beat their prices. The facial I had was also good — would love to spend a half-​day trying out everything under the sun.
The actual facility is on the smaller side and not the best place for a group spa experience. However, the resorts I’ve been to can’t beat their services and cost and it’s my go-​to for gifting. Just make sure to schedule your massage a couple of days ahead of time if you want to make sure you can get it — same days are tough!

Called them two times to set up an appointment. Both times the receptionist was very unwelcoming. It was like I was creating a problem by calling. Very disappointing. Ended up cancelling my appointment.

Love this place! I got a facial and massage package (the 1 hour) and they were both amazing. The massage was one of the best I have ever had. The facial was personalized and super relaxing as well. I will be coming back and will tell anyone who is looking for some relaxation to come here!

I surprised my hubby with a couples massage for his b’day during our trip to AZ. This place was heavenly. It’s clean and relaxing. The staff is courteous and professional. The cost was about $ 118 for a one hour couples massage so they’re very reasonably priced. I’ll definitely go back when I’m in town.

My neck has been hurting so I wanted to get a massage. I had never been to Touch of Tranquility and they were able to get me in the day after I called. Laurie did an awesome job. My neck is feeling so much better. She really listened to how I was feeling and that I wanted a light touch. Every other massage I’ve had has hurt me. I also liked the craniosacral therapy component too. I think I fell asleep during that part. I made an appointment for next month.

I was excited to try this place out because of all the great reviews, and I was pleasantly surprised by my therapist. I’ve called a couple times to get in on same day and fortunately I was able to get in today.
I have to say, the reviews are spot on for poor customer service. I phoned in and got a lot of attitude from the front desk girl. Furthermore, when arrived, she didn’t offer water or share the location of the restroom. Furthermore, she had a number of employees whispering with her up at the front. She never engaged in conversation, welcoming me as it was my first time there.
I got in with Danielle H and she was amazing. Completely worth the attitude from the receptionist. Danielle was able to completely read my body and adjust technique accordingly. She was able to work therapeutically without going Helga’s House of Pain on me. She never took her hands off my body and followed through from origin to insertion of muscle. Danielle checked in throughly throughout the massage to check on pressure. It was just amazing. Upon exiting the serene massage room, Danielle was there with water and checking in still. Loved it!
I would have loved to book another session or more with Danielle, but receptionist, again with an ale player at the desk, didn’t even offer to book another session for me. I’ll phone in an speak with a manager to personally give my praise of Danielle and to book with her again, but also to express my disappointment with the receptionist and lack of customer service from her.

Have had *great* massages here, mainly by Carol, but todays massage was amazing! My therapist today was Aracelis. This was the first time I had been to her. I had a maternity massage done, and it was relaxing and yet firm in working trigger points to assist in inducing labor naturally. Her movements weren’t sloppy, but fluid, just as I had hoped! She was friendly and made me feel comfortable. I wished Touch of Tranquility allowed for 2 hour maternity massages, because even though 2 hour was nice, extra time would have been the icing on the cake! There is no doubt I will be going back to this gal for future massages again!

This place is amazing. My boyfriend and I got a couples massage from Danielle and Katy. I am a massage regular and I have NEVER had a BETTER massage. EVER! We were both amazed at how exquisite the massage, atmosphere and price was. We will begin itself be regulars and have already book an appointment for next month!

Came here with my husband in August for an anniversary treat. They were very accommodating with our last minute couples massage request. One of the ladies even stayed later than her shift just so we could enjoy a couples massage as opposed to 2 single massages. Nice staff, clean, good prices, & amazing massages!

I have been going to Touch of Tranquility for years. In my opinion, it’s the best place to go for a massage. I even give gift cards to my friends/​family members because I know they will have such a great experience. If you want a quality massage, from experienced, knowledgeable, and pleasant therapist– Make an appointment with Touch of Tranquility.

Lovely experience with Touch of Tranquility. I deal with significant lower back pain and after I started getting massages from Kathleen and Emily, I can go 2 weeks without any pain and I appreciate that very much. Service and courtesy is always consistent, everyone is friendly, professional and extremely competent. I’m scheduled for weekly massages for the next 6 months!

So I’m kind of mixed on this review. I received one of those spa finder gift cards and took a chance based off of the Unilocal reviews. This appeared as a great place to go. Now the Spa is very quaint, nice clean. However my massage not so good. It was probably one of the worst massages I’ve received in quite some time. So all in all I guess the massage is what really matters.

Came in for a quick massage to work out some nasty knots in my shoulders. I bought the 30 minute Swedish massage for $ 30 after I saw it online.
I walked in and was relaxed immediately. The office had calming colors, friendly staff and soothing music.
The back room was clean, nicely decorating and relaxing. The massage was AHMAZING!!! She worked the spots I asked and gave a great all over rub.
I totally feel like I got my money’s worth and I will most definitely be returning!!!

I have been to Touch of Tranquility several times and have always been very satisfied, but recently had the worst massage ever. I left not feeling any better than before the massage. When I gave feedback to the receptionist she essentially said sorry about your luck.
Not very good customer service. Probably won’t be back.

I should be up-​front and say I don’t like massage. It hurts me. A lot. I do not find it relaxing. For me it’s about fixing problems, working out problems. I do massage in conjunction with chiropractic to try to stay pain-​free in my daily life.
So we decided to try this place. One nice thing up-​front is that they don’t do the contract thing. I hate that. I don’t want a monthly charge whether I go or not, and having to give notice if I want to stop (and I have to go at least a year before I can stop). Touch of Tranquility does NOT do that. So that’s a plus right there.
The massage itself is tricky. First, it likely will depend on whom you get. My massage therapist was fine. She asked several times if I was «OK», because it does hurt. Even though I specified neck and shoulders and back, she did spend time on my legs which I thought was pointless. My problems are always neck, back, and shoulders. Next time I’ll be more definitive to ignore everything else. I’ll go 4 stars this time, but after another visit or two I may revise. I haven’t decided yet if this is my new massage place, but it might be.

yay! Love this spot– looked up a great massage place — on Unilocal,of course, and saw that this place got great reviews. Took my bff here for a massage and we both really like deep tissue, no wuss massages here. The prices are GREAT — $ 90 for a 90-​minute massage. I had Tyler (male) for my massage and she had Danielle for her massage and we were both very pleased and plan to return. The place is decorated beautifully and very serene– nice bathrooms, lots of massage rooms, very Zen. They have a lot of great products for sale too, probably because they do facials etc. Can’t wait to go back– highly recommend.

I highly recommend calling in advance if you’re looking to book a Couples Massage for the weekend because they book so quickly!
I scheduled our appointment for Friday at 5pm. We were greeted immediately to a clean, modern, very nice smelling office.
We were taken back promptly at 5pm with Julie and Danielle. They asked both my boyfriend and I how we preferred the massage to go and how we would like the pressure. They also asked if we had any problem areas they should focus on and work out. It felt amazing! The beds are extremely comfortable too!
The room and music were absolutely perfect and so were Julie and Danielle!!!
I cannot wait to return for our next massage!

My wife and I had a very interesting experience here. All I will say is, really make sure you request the right person for what you need. I will not hold my first experience against them, as my wife had a great experience.
Now with that said, go see Sidney if you are like us and go for true therapy and knots getting rubbed out. She went beyond just a basic massage and really relieved pain for my wife.
I was scheduled to return, but had an emergency. I plan to return to Sidney as soon as I am able to!
