Stopped in for the first time on Friday Dec. 11^th.
Pleasantly greeted right when we walked in!
Clean and well organized store with a good selection of merchandise.
Carry many well known designer brands for Men & Women. Such as: Micheal Kors, Louis Vuiiton, Hudson, True Religion, Rock Revival & Miss Me Jeans.
I was happy to find a few RVCA shirts for my son & a pair of Nike Free Runners. After being rung up for my merchandise: I was asked if I found everything ok (I did) but mention to the cashier, that it would be nice to see some other trendy bands like Volcom, Bullhead etc.*Wanted to find Men’s Chino Style casual pants, joggers? They only carry jeans! I expressed my hopes that this maybe something to find here in the future?*
Offer brand name purses, jewelry & shoes too!
Prices are fair, much to choose from along with pleasant sales associates.
Really enjoyed browsing at all they carry!
Will definitely be back.

I have had great luck buying clothes here! I’ve gone in a few times and come home with good stuff. I have not tried to sell anything and that seems like what the hasty reviews are over. The customer service could be a little better but I wasn’t there to socialize and the girls got me a fitting room and took the stuff I didn’t want with no attitude. I like coming to this place.

This place is a joke, don’t even waste the gas to get there. It’s disgusting in there. Came in with over $ 300 worth of clothes of actual name brand clothes that were in «like new» condition. Girl who called herself a «buyer» said she could take one thing for $ 3 and couldn’t come up with a reason why besides the stereotypical response I’m sure the owners tell her to recite. This place is cheap and trashy. If you consider wet seal, F21, and brands clearly from tjmaxx name brands and want to pay MAYBE 1 or 2 dollars less than you would for the item new, this is your place! I couldn’t believe that they had a long black maxi on DISPLAY that was so worn it was picked and all those little cotton balls all over. How are you still in business?

This place is a complete crock. Terrible customer service… they act like you are beneath them. Out of all the clothing buyers in the area they pay the lowest, especially for their advertised «top brands». I will never attempt to sell my clothing here again, nor will I buy from their crappy collection.

I have consigned clothes for years & have also sold clothing at various locations throughout the Valley of the Sun, as I have lived in the Phoenix Metro area for many years. However, I was relatively disappointed with Urban Xchange.
First of all, I felt that when I took really quality items into the store to sell, the buyers not only didn’t buy them back from me, but were also really rude about the entire process, & behaved as though it was an inconvenience for them to wait on me or look through my stack of items to sell. I understand that as a buyer, you have to be selective and choosy in picking what you’re going to buy so as to avoid an influx of inventory that is destined to just sit on the racks, but I also believe in customer service and felt that the sales associates and buyers at this location were lacking in that area, at best.
I also felt that the sales associates were rude on another occasion when I purchased items & tried on clothing. Again, they acted like it was a chore to help customers, which didn’t sit right with me.

I have been a long time customer of this place and I have experienced the customer service here go down hill! The ladies are down right rude! They are inconsiderate and charge outrages prices! I bought purses from them and spent over $ 30.00 a piece well when I brought them in to get credit they only wanted to give me pennies! What a rip! BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

Terrible customer service. NEVER trade with them. After calling ahead to see if they are accepting clothes, I drove to their off putting location and was greeted by their uninviting employees. 40 mins later they tell me they can take only one item because they aren’t «really accepting too many clothes right now» wish they would’ve told me that before I made the drive. From what I looked at most of the shoes were worn out and there weren’t many great deals.

I’ll never go back! When I walked in the door the guy behind the counter had some weird look on his face like he was ignoring me then said «HI» after everything was totally awkward. I then felt un welcome and was out of there as quickly as possible (2 minutes later). I was looking for a black button up dress shirt. They had 1 and it was faded (Forever 21) and had lint all over it.

HUGE WASTE OF TIME! My first time going in was several months ago. My daughter had a TON of clothes she wanted to sell and we drove down and took them in. We were told to drop them at a counter, write our name down, and would be called after they had looked through them. 45 minutes later, we were called and told we would be offered $ 65 store credit as they were not BUYING any clothes. Why did they not tell us this at the beginning? So, we lugged everything back to the car.
Yesterday I called to ask if they were buying clothes and was told they were. As we pulled up today, there was a huge sign out front saying «WE BUY, SELL, AND TRADE». Again, we drug a huge pile of clothes in, only to be told they «don’t take clothes on Sundays». REALLY? Again, before I wasted my time, why didn’t someone mention this when I called? Why not put that on your large sign out front?
I will NEVER go here again and I will be sure to tell everyone I know to stay clear as well.

After months of driving by, I finally got a chance to stop in. Boy, am I underwhelmed! The store is advertises gently used «name brand» clothing and accessories to buy, sell, or trade. This sounded right up my alley so I gathered up my Chanel, YSL, Prada, Michael Kors, etc and headed off for shopping heaven… Or so I thought.
Everything I looked at was SO worn and dirty. Lots of fading, pulling, small stains, etc. I kept my eye out for name brand and designer items. I didn’t see much. If you’re in the market for roughly used Forever 21, H&M, and Target brand items this is your spot. I have literally seen better quality at the good will. Some stuff was new with tags. But it would be a Forever 21 top for $ 10 that was probably only $ 12 to begin with.
I thought the section in the best condition was handbags. However, the nicest brand I saw was Coach which was severely underwhelming.
I decided to take my stuff up to the counter to see what they’d give me for it since I already brought it with me. (Plus it looks like they’ll buy literally anything)
The girl was nice, but she told me she didn’t know how to «authenticate» any of my luxury brand items and that I’d need to come back later for a more experienced buyer to look at them — despite their website stating they’d buy my brands if I came in at the right time. All of my items were thrown around and stuffed back into a box in this buyer’s care. I was disappointed she’d handle my very expensive items so carelessly.
If you like old Charlotte Russe tank tops, stepped-​on-​hem LA idol jeans and worn to death Payless shoes this place has your name all over it.
The only reason I went in was because of the good reviews online. I guess I’ll just have to stick to eBay!

This is my second review of this place, and I love it even MORE than I did the first time. First time I went, I didn’t find anything I liked that fit, but I could tell their prices were very good. I just got back from a second time, and what a shopping BONANZA!!! I’m VERY pleased with my purchases. I got a NICE pair of Big Star jeans and a NICE pair of MEK jeans for my hubby, then for me, a nice pair of Rock Revival jeans and a SUPER cute True Religion long sleeve (snap-​up) blouse. Get this. my total bill was only $ 136.56. This place is my new GO TO place for popular clothing. Maybe I’ll try selling some things, and let you know how that goes. Anyway, check these guys out. You won’t be sorry.

I am never buying anything new again, especially clothes! Urban Xchange keeps their store fun with neat and clean displays… you don’t feel like you are shopping at a garage sale. And the quality of used clothes, shoes and accessories is unbelievable… I definitely recommend it!
