Always a great experience when at Ashford’s! And we absolutely love the owner and her pup, Penny! They have great hidden treasures — love buying gifts for friends and family here. Also, a lot of the sellers at Ashford’s have pretty decent prices. We also enjoy getting the occasional hot dog from their stand they have out every now and then!(killer price on those) The place has great open space and doesn’t make you feel overwhelmed like many antique stores do. It also has great lighting so you can really see the quality of the items.(Love their silverplated items!)

Great store. Has a lot of stuff without being an overwhelming experience. Has it all from tools to furniture to kitchenware, all the usual antique store treasure-trove. The ladies running it are *very* nice. They really take the time to answer questions, whether the sale is large or small. A word about parking: There’s street parking but a Gilroy insider’s tip is that there’s parking behind the antique stores, on Eigleberry between 5th and 4th. There are some other lots on the other side of Monterey too.

I go there every time I am in Gilroy. I like this shop and the sweet friendly ladies there. There is a lot of stuff and it is reasonably priced. I usually find something to buy. A good, old-timey shopping experience.

One of the better, and cleaner, antique stores on Monterey Rd. Some of the vendors there need to learn that HotWheels cars from the 1990’s are NOT antiques. However, the window displays of one of the vendors of this antique collective are always clever — she once did a Harry Potter themed window that was really fun. Worth a look!
