Horrible service. It was overpriced and they completely ignore you. They don’t care probably because they’re just workers there and have no investment. There are plenty of other comparable places nearby. Go there and get treated like you are a paying customer there. Not here.

The second time I went back since my last review and it has managed to stay open after 5 and the corn is the so fresh and delicious and reasonable. This time there was another gal and she was extremely nice. There is nothing like picking up fresh produce to make for dinner definitely beats having to go into a grocery store. 8 corns for $ 1 is a great price for freshly picked sweet corn.

I travel to the Bay Area for dance competitions several times a year and usually take the 152 from the I-5 to the 101 North. Most of the time I am driving pretty late at night and the only the only Farmers Market /Fruit Stand open is Casa De Fruta. This time, for a change, I was driving from West to East in the late morning /early afternoon and was amazed by all the roadside produce stands that were open on both sides of the road. This stand was the first one I came upon and since it was on the South side I figured it would be one of the easiest ones to check out and get right back on the road(no left turns). Besides, I was seduced by the signs advertising corn on the cob 8 for $ 1.00(limit $ 2 per car) and cherries at $ 1.00 per basket. While they did have cheap cherries, I got the prettier(more expensive) ones in a larger basket for $ 7.00. The workers there were very friendly and the cherries tasted as good as they looked — maybe even better. They were large and juicy and at the peak of ripeness. This is a nice little fruit stand and if you’re headed East it is has very convenient access.
