Best Empire Buffet

What are you expecting? I feel like the reviews are based on people expecting a buffet to be crazy gourmet.
The food is hot. There’s a wide albeit a little random selection. There’s sushi nigiri and rolls. No it’s never made me sick.
They have ice cream for dessert and the plates are off your table in a timely manner.

Hmmm… Why do I keep fooling myself that buffets are great places to eat?
I visited for my second time to this well hidden hole in the wall, tucked in the corner of a sparsely occupied strip mall.
I opened the door and my glasses fogged up immediately from the steam and moisture in the air. I nearly slipped and fell on my butt getting to my table that had a thin layer of ??? on it (I had them re-​wipe the table).
Can’t say much for the food, if I wanted Mr Chau’s fast Chinese, I would have went there!
I guess the best thing was the BBQ ribs, 2types and the sushi was fairly fresh.
Service was slow, and one of the waitresses was sleeping at a table.
Fool me once. Shame on you.

Negative star oh how I wish you existed.
We were those dumb asses who ignored this review & experienced the worst dining experience ever! We were there for 10 minutes. I walked around to see what I would put on my plate, Ew the food looked old and sticky. The guy behind the sushi was texting the whole time. I asked for apple juice knowing my son would be waking up soon. I see them pour warm apple juice from a jug before bringing it to me. You really think I’m going to give my son this hot ass juice when it’s 100 degrees outside? Fuck outta here. There was 1 family practically licking the food of their plate, I was assuming this was their first meal in weeks. My bf took a bite of their chicken Wing and immediately spit it out. We left right there. «This place is fucking nasty, let me see you eat that shit» as we walked out
Chef Ramsey’s kitchen nightmare couldn’t help this dirty old stinking place. STAY AWAY

Worst place EVER! The only reason we went to try it out was because a friend recommended it to us.
For starters — the food was absolutely disgusting (looked gross, too). The food looked as though it was from days before.
Their service was not any better — we had to actually get up and walk around the «restaurant» to look for a waiter. When we finally found people that worked there, they were all huddled together just chatting. All of them clearly didn’t speak english and didn’t answer any of our questions.
To top it off — way over priced!!! We ordered orange juice — they literally gave us sunny D in a cup. SO SO horrified. I couldn’t believe we paid for that experience. Save yourself a trip and your money — do not come here. The fact that this shopping area is deserted in general should be a clear sign not to go.
