This place disgusts me. First of all, it’s confusing to order. The owner of this place must be an idiot because you can either order at the register or tell the sandwich maker or makers what you would like but then there is like no line! No organization. Second, there was this kid with such a rude attitude and looked miserable working there. Completely not giving a crap. He used the same gloves that he used at the register to make my frigging sandwich! No change of gloves, no washing his hands. Be careful with the kid with the curly Afro! Don’t let him make your sandwich. He doesn’t even wear a hair net! WTF? Third, I tried talking to the manager but the guy was a complete mess and seemed like a tweaker. He seems that he does NOT know how to manage the place because some of his employees are obviously not well trained! The sandwiches, if made correctly and by the right person are good, but it’s the people that manage it that are not doing a very good job. I feel sorry for the employees.

I had a similar experience as Terri O. Went to this location thinking Eric’s Deli was still here. My family and I still gave it a shot. Ordered soup and salad. Chicken noodle soup was disgusting, tasted old with a weird aftertaste. Asked to exchange it with Clam Chowder. Clam chowder was too thick and had a weird aftertaste. Exchanged the clam chowder with bagged chips, they can’t screw that up. The cobb salad was average, hence the two stars. Save your money, go somewhere else.

I came here not knowing that Eric’s Deli was gone. I saw a sign that had a daily sandwich on it and ordered it. It was Chicken Caprese. I asked if I could get sprouts instead of lettuce, that is when the guy told me that Eric’s closed in January. So I ordered the sandwich as is. When I was paying I noticed that he still had the food gloves on and after paying I kind of gave him a funny look because he went to go help the next customer. All I could think of was food safety and how nasty it would be if he made a sandwich after handling money. There was a few people in line and only the one guy was in the front helping anyone. He went to the back and asked people for help. A girl came out and another person went into the office. Why didn’t they both help and also why weren’t they in the front helping the guy. The main guy did change his gloves thankfully before helping the next people. The sandwich did not have much flavor at all, same as if I made it at home. So definitely not worth $ 8.16.
