Everything tastes great. Love the ice cream its not too sweet. Service is quick and staff is very friendly.

Times I have been there, it has always been slow. It’s ok, nothing too exciting.

New seasonal crêpe:
Thin crêpe filled with Nutella and fresh fruit chunks (strawberries, bananas, and pineapple), topped with your choice of locally-​made ice cream, whipped cream, and sprinkled with coconut flakes, and a cherry on top.
Must have!!!
All for $ 6.00 — the only not-​so-​good thing is the calorie count (which I haven’t bother to calculate)

this is my regular spot, after trying out the new paletalandia on 10^th the totally sucks, the place was clean service was gracious and quick, the tónicos and mangonadas are the best.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED…
–I’m not from gilroy… After spending a day with my friend and our kids at gilroy gardens we decided to get to know the city.
We ended trying out the Perrico taqueria (they need to get some pointers in customer service from them), and since we had promised ours kids we decided to keep walking through the downtown in search of some kind of ice cream. We found Neveria Alaska, and my 4year old starts dancing… Like when your child really has to go the bathroom REALLY bad… N I asked the lady if he could use the bathroom n she said yes… Then the other lady comes out and says «no… That he had to wait because the bathroom was wet and she had just cleaned it. So he had to wait till it was dry». And I looked her and I was like «he’s dancing he no longer can’t wait»
… She was like go next door… So me in a rush… Not knowing what to do… I go next door to the haircut place and she was like no you can’t use the bathroom, they have a bathroom. So I walked back to the ice cream place and said there not letting my son use the restroom. And she was like «well I don’t even care if it’s an old lady that has to use the restroom… She would still have to wait till its dry „…I was like „fine then. Here your ice cream give me my money back“. And she refused to give me my money back. And I was like „fine then give me the owners number I need to speak to someone else“. And she kept refusing and I told her“ I would call the cops».And she was like «call the cops. We’re not giving ur money back» and her and the other lady went to go hide… …
Like seriously?
Why would you say yes he can use the restroom… And then say no?
If the bathroom is wet and if my son makes a mess… I would clean it for you… My son is 4! He’s still learning how to control his bladder… When they have to go. They have to go… And if I didn’t even eat ur ice cream just give me my money back. I could gone and paid to get a stupid haircut just for my son to use the restroom…
FYI– my friend took my son outside… And he had to pee next to a garbage can… In public… And he still got wet… Imagine if a cop would of seen that.
A 4 year old… Smh
FYI– gilroy a downtown is dead… It’s not like a find a bathroom that easy

Bad costumer service. The girls look rude. Their elotes are a ripoff cause it’s canned corn. I came for something fresh if not I can make that at home & for a cheaper price! Not coming back again… No tienen mesas limpias!!! I wouldn’t even give em a star but I have too…

Worst customer service, corn in a cup isn’t natural they buy it from the can. Ripped off… Never coming back!!! And they only take cash

So me and my girls were in the mood for some ice but I didn’t want to go to a chain ice cream shop. Found this gem here. The inside is clean and colorful. This place had a lot more choices than just ice cream. It’s CASH ONLY. There’s only a few parking spots in front. There’s a small parking lot a few feet away with plenty of open spaces.

Best ice cream in Gilroy! I can finally buy myself an ice cream cone in our hot summers! (I refuse to go to Baskin Robins — so disgusting!!)
This place is so cute, clean and has good service.
The flavors are delicious (they let you sample) and unique! My all time favorite is Queso flavor (cheese — sounds weird but it is the best)
It is cash only so be prepared. Also sometimes only Spanish is spoken but get used to it, you live in CA, you should know basic Spanish!

Great ice cream and friendly environment ! Plus has a variety of types of desserts. Their is a picture of every different type ! Defiantly worth going !!!

I first saw this place driving up and down Monterey but finally decided to check it out after reading an article about it in the Gilroy newspaper. This is nothing like your typical Baskin Robbins since they have a lot of different kinds of ice cream flavors with fruits that I have never even heard of. We ended up ordering a «pina loca» because thats what the newspaper suggested and it was pretty good. It came with fresh pineapple, cucumbers and hicama, all covered in some spicy sauce. If you don’t like spicy, you probably wouldn’t like this. My only complaint would be that I wish the menu items came with descriptions in English since there were so many interesting menu items but I had no clue what they were since I can’t read Spanish.
