Tinkerbell Nails

Just dont get anything done here. There overpriced and there work is not all that great. I came here to get my eyebrows done since it was nearby and I just wanted to get it over with, they said they charged eyebrows for $ 8.00 and I was like thats funny everywhere else is usually $ 7.00 dollers, so I told the lady that and she said she would lower it to $ 7.00 since I was a student, lol that was great but it didnt really matter since when I went to go pay they told me they charge a $ 1.00 to use debt I was like okay whatever Im not coming here again, they kept telling me «next time next time bring cash» lol so I ended up paying 8 bucks for eyebrows that were still kind of hairy looking when I got in my car, they were not clean at all, next time I wont do things on a whim and ill avoid places like these

Tom does the best nails I’ve been coming to him for years.

I knew Tom as an artistic person (from his wonderfully decorated Vietnamese Fench cakes) and was convinced of his manicure/​pedicure skills when I took my mom there. They are certainly good at this skill. The folks here are under new ownership. We certainly felt that we were treated very well and with great respect.
I am really surprised with the dissatisfied customer review before mine. Non native speakers of English tend to use as few words as possible to express, but this may sometimes appear rude. I think, most of us in California have learned to look beyond words and understand true intent by observing facial expressions and behavior.
Overall, I must say I really enjoyed the service here and would encourage all our friends to give it a try. I live in San Jose, however, its worth making the extra long trip 30mi or so south of San Jose.

Ok… so…you can tell that whoever wrote those other reviews about Tinkerbell Nails is the same person. I’ll tell you the real deal!
DO NOT GO TO **TINKERBELL NAILS**. They really screwed my nails up. I just went in for a re-​fill and eyebrows.
TRUST ME… DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY at TINKERBELL. Go across the street to PERFECT NAILS (behind Wendy’s). Thats my usual spot. (Thats what I get for cheating on them… lol)
I stumbled across this place because I saw a man advertising holding a sign in 100 degree weather (literally) and I thought «Oh this must be a new nail place here in Gilroy»…um no — they just suck. customer service –sucksss.
I arrived at 6:30 PM and didnt end up leaving until 8:45. The guy that filled my nails was very quiet. Did the nails pretty nice. When it came to painting the french manicure… I asked him to do 2 coats of white to make the french look… bold. (And plus… thats what every nail shop I’ve been to in the past 15 years has done). The lady who sits next to him (the owner or his girlfriend… whatever) would not stop trying to sell me MORE services! After he put the gel on my nails and put my left hand in the UV light… i realized he put too much gel on the nails… and the tips of my nails were looking wide and… gooey and… crazy shaped… actually…like Tracy’s nails on JERSEYLICIOUS. those fat wide fans? uggghhh…
ANy way… I mentioned it to him. and he was going to start fixing them… and the lady next to him… starts yappin saying that its my fault… she came up with about 20 excuses as to why they looked like that. I couldnt believe her. EVERY NAIL SHOP I’VE BEEN TO… if you dont like how the nails look… THEY FIX IT… with NO PROBLEM.
This lady snatched my right hand… and started filing my nails… to help the guy get finished quicker. And she was just being rough. Finally… at 8:45 she stopped filing and said «actually.you know… it’s getting late… and how about you come back tomorrow and we’ll fix for you. Just pay me for this… and come back tomorrow.» I ALMOST REACHED UP AND SLAPPED THE MESS OUTTA HER.
But I held my tongue… rolled my eyes at her… and paid her. She jacked up my eyebrows… wouldnt pluck all of the new hairs growing back in… she just wanted to do the easy part. and SHAPE THEM.
P. S. OH YEA… THE MUSIC F****N SUCKS! Water drops & birds chirping… and a Harp. WTF is that?!
PS#2…also…the man that holds the sign outside for them… in the blazing hot sun… he came inside the nail shop to put his sign away and get his pay. one of the owners… decides to discuss his whole paycheck with him outloud in front of the 4 or 5 customers. And argue with the man about what time he took his lunch… and what time he came in. and etc. ridiculous…
