Terrible experience. Told me everything I was doing was wrong. Told me he was sure that I had mold in my crawl space, but he wouldn’t go under to take a look. A previous inspector, who did go under, said there was no mold. He said that he was just better trained than the one who found no mold. He also told me that I would have to pull out all the insulation which I think he said would cost upwards of a thousand dollars. Then there would be another cost for reinstalling the insulation. A second inspector confirmed that there was no mold. So this guys judgment that there was mold, based on what since he never made an inspection would have cost us thousands of wasted dollars. This guy was totally unprofessional and unqualified.

I’m not in Portland, but my daughter moved out there just out of college and she ended up finding a home to rent that had horrible mold in the basement. I talked to several mold inspection /​remediation companies and I chose Gary from Green Way because he answered my questions most effectively. He went out of his way to handle the problems very quickly, and he’s been extremely helpful. On top of that he had the most reasonable pricing, so it was a double win as far as we were concerned.

We hired Gary from Green Way Air Solutions to correct a mold issue in our attic found during a home inspection. We are being moved through a relocation company and their home inspection reveled an issue. I was assured by Gary that his process would remediate the problem and explained to him that our relocation company would be doing a re inspection on the mold once the remediation was completed. After Gary’s work was completed, the re inspector returned and his lab tests showed that the mold had not been taken care of. When we called Gary to work through this, he continued to stand by the fact that he had provided a service and the mold was taken care of. He did come back out to re test himself, but after a week of waiting, we still do not have his results. We are now having to hire another contractor to come in and finish the job he started so we can sell our home and relocate. I again called him and he continues to refuse to take additional action in my attic. I’m disgusted. Jason and Amy Squier, Vancouver, WA
