Absolutely love this place as does my whole family! Michelle is awesome and knows our order every time. Talk about great customer service! Love the chicken teriyaki and im going to try the general Taos next time we come. Salad dressing is wonderful, I always ask for extra. 5 stars for sure!!!

It was very good and I would go back, but it wasn’t the best sweet and sour chicken I have ever had. They had the breaded chicken chunks that are good and there was more than I could eat on the plate. The wait person who might have been the owner was great! What a sweet lady who seemed to know most everyone who came in the door. Plenty of free parking and the prices was super reasonable. If they had fresh stir fried chicken I would have gave them 5 stars.

Delicious and affordable. I had the chicken and gyoza combo. Food tasted fresh and flavorful, and the portion was plentiful. Very friendly owner. I will be a regular here.

I’m addicted to chicken teriyaki yet I can rarely find a place that makes it just right. Fortunately, I discovered this place! I was thrilled to see them offer chicken breast teriyaki. It made all the difference. The chicken was tender, the sauce was great and the rice perfectly made. I also appreciate them packing the salad separately, since I’m werid about stuff like that lol
The lesson of the day: do not judge a restaurant by how many people are there. When I first walked in there was not a single person around. It was during the lunch hour so I was tempted to leave… I’m glad I didn’t :)

We ordered at the restaurant for take out on our way home. The owner seemed very nice and courteous, actually. That’s where my recommendation has to stop. I’m not sure what the meat was in my Mongolian beef, but I’ve never had that before. My wife had shrimp lo-​mein with 3 shrimp in it. The picture on the wall showed lots of vegetables, which looked great. That’s not what she got. Lots and lots of noodles with a few vegies. The taste. Well, very mediocre. We won’t be back. We are dumb founded by the 4&5 star ratings.

Wow! What an experience. I was impressed by the cleanliness of the joint. We were greeted promptly, ordered and we’re seated. The food was hot and fresh. The veggies were NOT overcooked. I ordered the veggie yak. BOMBOLA! My three kids wolfed it down! Definitely coming back. $ 7 for Grade AAA nom noms. It could use more wall art, but hardly a fault.

I absolutely LOVE this place! Great food and amazing service. The gal that runs this place is an absolutely lovely person inside and out. I always feel so welcome when I go there. The prices are very affordable and the portions are big enough to share. The free veggie soup is the perfect touch on a rainy day! I highly suggest trying out this hidden gem tucked away in Gladstone. You will not be disappointed!!! :)

Great food! I’ve had the chicken teriyaki bowl without veggies (my choice) and it it delicious! Large portions for a reasonable price. The owner is super friendly, remembers my family and my order. We eat here at least twice a month. Don’t hesitate giving it a try!

Visiting Portland and found this gem of a place. It’s located behind a small Ray’s market. Wonderful owners and portions are big. The Spicy Teriyaki tofu is the best I’ve ever had, same as the egg rolls. Yummy filling in the egg roll and fried just right. Soup is really good. I will return to this area just to eat here!

I review Teriyaki all over the west coast. This IS 5 star teriyaki. Perfect salad dressing. Perfect Chicken. Perfect Rice. And every table has a bottle of teriyaki, sriracha and soy. This is a real teriyaki joint. The owners here should be training every other teriyaki place in oregon how to do it this way.

This place is a full 5 STARS for a reason! The service is the best u can find in the area. The food is the BEST teriyaki I’ve ever had. My wife and I stumbled upon this gem while doing laundry in Gladstone. And now we go back at least once or twice a week! Love the egg flower soup that’s free while waiting for the order it’s always HOT! The chicken is very tender, and the egg rolls are amazing. 5 stars for me and I highly recommend this place!!!

Eat here often, we are a busy family with sports. The owner is so sweet, helpful and treats her customers with such grace. She knows everyone by name and loves having customers.
The food is fresh, hot and outstanding! Portion size is huge which we love as we order a couple plates and share.
Hospitality at its finest!

This is about my 4th time here and wanted to say how much I love it. The hostess is welcoming and friendly, same lady each time. Prices are reasonable at $ 7 – 9 for most meals, and there’s always free water and piping hot Egg Flower soup. I’ve had the gyoza combo a couple times as well as a couple yakisoba and am always satisfied. just enough portions for this big guy, i don’t feel cheated or bloated after a meal :). Plus i live 6 blocks or so away so its just close enough to still walk to.

I’m going to start with «A-​OK» and see what happens as we get more used to this new place.
First, the spicy chicken is truly spicy. Seriously. I can’t eat it and I like spicy food.
Service was pleasant for our take-​out order, they gave me a bowl of the last of their soup for the day while I waited.
I ordered basically all of the appetizers as my meal and found them all to be very good.
We’ll be back.
