I usually love Big Lots for all the random crap I can find there. It’s like Narnia.
But today the sale associate drove me nuts and I don’t know if I want to go back to return the useless shit I bought today. I simply asked if they were doing their Veterans Day sale I read about online. The cashier called her boss, which was nice, and they didn’t honor the sale. However, her annoying ten minute rant about how today isn’t the «real» Veterans Day, but Saturday was because they got no mail that day (oh wow, nice one there Sherlock), was unnecessary. She insisted over and over and over and over and OVER that today isn’t the REAL Veterans Day. Instead of just saying sorry that they didn’t take the sales discount off today and leaving it at that, she had to annoy the hell out of me.
