I have been shopping here for years and 90% of the time the quality of the food is excellent. However, I received my free turkey a week ago I never expected that it would result in a bone dry, cardboard textured disaster. I expect better quality free turkeys from ShopRite. The fact that their turkey dried up and is completely inedible is unacceptable and with that I would like to make the outlandish and unrealistic request for a new(unburnable) turkey. Please reach out to me @ 8566859218 so we can resolve this issue. Thank you! :)

Their bakery is the best of all the Zallies shop rites. This is a busy store which means the food has a fast turnover, nothing is steal or old. Staff are always helpful

As a city gal used to shopping at Farmer’s Markets, Trader Joes and a small Whole Foods I find this place to be completely overwhelming. Its just huge. But I guess it needs to be.. . The pros: Huge selection, its clean, nice seafood, good pre-prepared food selection and decent in-house bread. Prices are good and everyone in a while you’ll hit some superb sales. The cons: huge selection, limited organic free range selections, often crowded and I may see someone I went to high school with(of course I will look my crappiest too). I do feel they could use a GOOD olive bar and some more authentic ethnic offerings. I run here sometimes when home visiting my folks and they watch my little one. That makes it convenient.

I prefer Zallie’s shoprite to the Brown’s by me in Bellmawr. Zallie’s makes better coleslaw and potato salad. Other than that, they are all pretty much the same.

Born and raised in Pitman, now living in CA. Grocery stores are the same everywhere, FYI. But a great selection of Tastykakes. Friendly cashier. Oh and Wise Chips… can’t forget those. Good neighborhood grocery store.
