I’m always telling people about this place, so 4 stars wasn’t an option. I’ve been going to Dr. Henin for two years now and he’s the best dentist I’ve ever had. I’m a nervous person in the chair, but the staff is so pleasant, it really makes you comfortable. After a traumatic experience at a terrible, awful, no good, very bad chain dentist office that is advertised everywhere but will ruin your entire mouth if you go, (as my dental assistant roommate once said, «anywhere that will give you a root canal at 2am is probably bad news.») I took a few years off from the dentist. But soon it became hard not to go and my mother’s coworker recommended Dental Solutions.
I filled out a brief questionaire that asked all about me before anyone even touched my mouth. Afterwards, Dr. Henin sat down with me and we chatted about this and that and oh yeah, my teeth. I really enjoyed the time spent getting to know me since it really put me at ease. By the time I actually had to sit down in the chair, I was still nervous, but not nearly as bad as I’ve been in the past. During one particularly lengthy procedure, they gave me a movie to watch and a paraffin dip for my hands. I have no earthly idea what the movie was because I was still pretty freaked out, but the assistant and doctor were very talkative with me throughout, letting me know all that went on so there were no surprises. And afterwards, my hands were so soft!
After two years, I’ve think I’ve had every hygienist and most of the dental assistants. If they have a second, they always take the time to stop in and say hi and catch up. I love the amount of personal service here. To top it all off, at the end you can have sugar free lollipops! (They’re tastier than they sound)
