Dr. Balloch and Dr. Whidden provide the highest level of care in dentistry that I have ever recieved. At my initial patient consult, we spent several hours both discussing my history, reviewing the current condition of my teeth and determining a long term care management plan. As I was pregnant at the time, they were very sensitive to my needs and worked around the issues a pregnant woman can present. It was determined that all repair work would have to wait until I had my baby, they did not want to remotely risk harming him with either medications or even maternal stress.
My most recent visit involved repair work (a cavity that started during the pregnancy had grown HUGE). Dr. Whidden took great care in ensuring I felt no pain throughout this process. I still need a root canal and a cap, and he has referred me to specialist who I will review seperately. While he repaired the immediate damage, I was given a paraffin wax treatment for my hands and offered use of the TV or radio to keep me entertained and relaxed during the procedure. This was a first for me. In addition, as digital xrays and images were taken of my teeth, I was shown exactly what was wrong and offered options of repair. The entire process was open, honest and transparent.
At all steps I have been treated with great care and respect as a patient. I never felt rushed and my concerns and questions have been answered honestly.
As far as pricing, you get what you pay for. This is NOT a bargain dental office, but with your teeth, your health and overall comfort… this is one area i do NOT scrimp on.
