I love this salon! I’ve been coming here for over a year now and won’t go anywhere else. Ashley is my go to girl for all my hair dying needs. Both Melanie and Ashley are very knowledgeable and keep up with all the new trends in hair styling. I highly recommend.

Ashley Rogers is the best! Her color skills are cutting edge, and like a work of art. Her cuts make my hair look perfect! I get compliments on my hair all the time now, even when it’s time to get cut again because she cuts and colors in a way that grows out in a flattering way – have NEVER experienced that before:-D Thanks, Ashley!

Just moved to Gbury from NYC and was quite scared to get my hair done anywhere else. Upon reading the other reviews here I decided to try it out and made an appointment relatively easy for a Friday evening. I was going to get just a cut bc I wasn’t sure what color to get and when I got there I discussed different options with Ashley who is very knowledgeable and ended up doing both cut and color. The result was beautiful, shiny awesome colored hair! I am so happy with the results and my hair looks so healthy. The color is really pretty and the price wasn’t too bad. I’m happy to say that I found my permanent new hair place.

I went to Ashley for about a year before I moved across the country, and she (and Mel!) spoiled me in the best of ways. Whether I went in with an idea of what I wanted or just vaguely knew I wanted a change, I would always leave happy after having Ashley work her magic with just a cut, and sometimes color and/​or extensions. Ashely is passionate about what she does, easy to talk to, and will go out of her way to make the style that you want work for your hair. I still wish I could fly back there once a month from CA because I don’t think I’ll ever find a salon as perfect as Melanie Knapp’s. Stop reading reviews and just make that appointment! You won’t regret it. I promise :)

I’m in a band. Melanie and Ashley and Katie too! all have given me new and cool looks (style and makeup) when I’ve needed them. I have had new colors, cuts, extensions and even over-​the-​top Alien hair. Doesn’t matter what I want, Melanie and staff will make it happen… perfectly. I highly recommend Melanie Knapp Salon for cuts and definitely for color. It’s the Best. Ever. Salon.

I have been seeing the owner Melanie for four years now, before she opened this business. Before her, I couldn’t get a stylist to do ANYTHING I wanted. She knows me, how I am with my hair, and she personalizes every visit! Please get your hair done here, it’s a no nonsense place! You will NOT regret it!!!

Melanie Knapp is by far the best salon I’ve ever been to. When I arrived I was pleasantly greeted by Ashley who helped me pick out what would be best for my hair during the consultation. Really don’t be afraid to speak up about what you’re looking for because Ashley will deliver exactly what you say you want. Both Ashley and Mel are extremely friendly and dedicated to customer service and putting out a great product so you’ll never feel intimidated at Melanie Knapp. My hair always feels silky soft when I leave.

BEST FIND EVER!!! on Unilocal!Just over a year ago I found Melanie Knapp and the compliments on my haircut or color have not stopped! I can go in and she’ll do what ever I want and it will come out just as I was hoping it would… or EVEN BETTER I love that I can sit down and let her just do her thing! And for those days when I am freaking out over my GRAYS… and call for a «CAN YOU GET ME IN NOW APPOINTMENT.» Ashley or Katy were there to get me back to having fabulous hair. I really love to share my find, cause I know that searching for the perfect hair stylist is not easy and to find a salon with more than one… was the best find EVER!
