WOW! This place was great! Recently ordered 6 large pizzas for an office birthday party — the staff was extremely accommodating and friendly, and the pizzas were ready right on time. Not only was the service excellent, the pizzas were great, too! Our office will definitely continue to order from Foxy for our functions! As a side note — it always bugs me when you order a buffalo chicken pizza somewhere, and when you get it there’s no spiciness to it. This place has a buffalo chicken pizza that packs some serious punch! Love it!

A class act from soup to nuts! Family owned and operated by the best of folks, foxy pizza has been delivering consistently great Greek style food from their heritage for many, many years to their Glastonbury clientele. I particularly like their homemade sandwiches and others swear by the Greek style pizza. Either take out or enjoy comfortable tableside Service with a smile. Old school courtesy is the rule here. It’s so wonderful to see a traditional ‘mom & pop shop’ survive through all the big brother type chains that have come and gone in this old established shopping plaza. Whole foods having moved in next door did not deter them in their work ethic or popularity. They have soldiered on and continue to be successful. Here’s to the fabulous Greek tradition living on in our local hometown!

I was turned on to this place by a neighbor who had their pizza every Friday night for decades. If you are in the mood for a slice to boost your energy before dealing with the madhouse of Whole Foods, stop by. The staff are friendly and kind and they have a good fish tank.

Food: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Service: 1 Cleanliness:1 Note: We did not order Pizza. Overall, seems like a good place if you are a regular, sadly, we were not and it showed. We came for a quick dinner this evening. We had to find an employee and ask to be seated. We then waited a while(well over 5 min) before anyone took our drink order. We had to ask for our table to be cleaned as it was still dirty from the table prior. Our server returned with silverware and then quickly walked away before we could order our food. The staff seemed very overwhelmed with the amount of people in the restaurant. While we waited, another party came in and were greeted at the door right away, obviously a regular. They were sat and their entire order(drinks and food) was taken and we still had not even gotten our drinks. Later, when we finally got our food(small hot chicken breast grinder with cheese, sauce and peppers as well as a large hot turkey grinder with lettuce, tomato and mayo) we were surprised with the large portions. The chicken was breaded, which was not mentioned on the menu. The final bill came to $ 26, which included a soda, beer(bottle only, they do not have beer on tap) and our two grinders. We noth came home with leftovers, which is a positive although not enough to make up for the service. When it came time to pay we had to go to the main counter and ask for a box and the check. When the server did not return to collect our money(we waited more than enough time), we again had to get up to find her.

My family and I have been coming to foxy pizza for over 15 years. If you just want some really really good food with a nice casual atmosphere foxy pizza is the place. They use really fresh good quality ingredient and you can tell. I have tried many pizza places and so far this is our favorite. We love the staff you feel like family when you come in :-)

The only decent Greek style pizza we have found East of the river. I grew up eating Greek style. Foxy has been a long running family restaurant in Glastonbury. The servers are very nice. They have great salads too. So if you lime Greek pizza and a casual atmosphere Foxy’s is your kinda pizza joint.

every time i am walking into whole foods and have lunch on my mind i see this place and think maybe i should check it out. after about 50 times of getting the whole foods pizza and not the foxy, i finally gave in(mostly because wf was a pre-christmas mob scene and the pizza line was 10 deep). foxy pizza, no line. hmm. two slice to go please. about $ 7 later, i get a styrofoam container and i am on my merry way, and then … well, it wasn’t really good pizza. i have nothing against a nice thick greek pizza but this wasn’t really even that. it was super bready, tasteless beyond bland and i had to consider that maybe these guys work for OPEC — there was that much oil. the to-go solution of stacking two slices with a piece of paper between them wasn’t really a great solution. if the top slice was blah, the bottom slice with its cheese molested by the paper was even worse. unlikely i will ever return. other pizza a few doors down has never let me down, or been given to me in an inedible state, stuck to a piece of paper. is it cheese or is it paper? i will never get a chance to tell elaborate.

Being new to Glastonbury, our first meal was Foxy pizza… and it was a hit! Over the past few months, we have tried nearly all other pizza places in town, but nothing compares. We won’t be making this mistake any more — only Foxy pizza for us! Now, I only have to decide which is better: buffalo chicken or meatball. Hmm…

I first had Foxy Pizza my junior year at GHS and have been hooked ever since. Perfect cheese to toppings ratio, and a medium crust. Om nom nom. And their garlic bread with cheese is bomb. I get a large and can eat the whole thing by myself. Don’t judge.

We love the pizza here. Wish they were a little more generous with toppings, but the crust and flavor is great. Thanks to my sis for turning me into this place.

I grew up on Foxy Pizza, and with all the options in Glastonbury, I thank my parents daily for picking the right one. The pizza here is greek style with great crust. It’s one of the only places where when you order meatball pizza, it’s really meatballs and not just ground beef chunks. This place idoes the ordinary things extraordinary, and you dont find that too often these days. 5 Stars for Foxy. Can’t wait to get back to town for a pie.

One word: gross and out-dated décor. You could not pay me to go there again.

Agreed with other reviewers here, not«The Best» Pizza around, but an over-all good palce to eat. I have been eating here since I was 9 years old and the wait-staff(some) and owners recognized my sister and mother and I when we went in(I am now 22!) and thanked us for coming to their restaurant over the years(we came in every once and a while). Super nice staff and the pizza is good. I love their crust and am a person who usually doesn’t like crust. The sauce could be better but, I like the pizza. It’s WAY better than Frank Pepe’s, I can tell you that. Oh again, the place will be more quite because not a lot of people(it could have changed) eat here. A lot more people take out and you will see people coming in and out taking their pizza’s. The owners and wait staff recognize them too and are really, such a pleasure to be around.

If you want thin crust new haven style, do not go here. Whole foods pizza next door is better than this place

We biked to this place based on the Unilocal reviews. Foxy is like your basic, reliable strip mall pizza joint. Ingredients were fresh, sauce was basic, and a little more cheese than I’d like. The crust seemed to lean a little more to the bready side. Decent, but not extraordinary. Extra points for the«Italian grandmother» behind the counter, and for giving us paper plates/napkins when I told them we’d be eating it right outside!

Pizza is a funny thing. It’s easy to make a decent pizza; just about any place can do it. But it’s hard to make a really good one. My family used to go to Foxy’s on a semi-regular basis when I lived in CT. I dropped by again while visiting my folks over the holidays. Have you ever not had something in a really, really long time, and you get worried that it won’t be as good as you remember it? Well, it turned out there wasn’t anything to worry about. This is the only place where I actually look forward to eating the crusts.

This pizza place was recommended to me in the early 90s when I was just a grade school kid… and its been my favorite ever since. My family has dabbled with other places, closer to our house, maybe cheaper – but we always come back to Foxy. I don’t know what the difference is, maybe they put on more cheese-but its always significantly better. I never eat in, always take out, but the restaurant has a cozy vintage Italian restaurant feel to it, one of those places that you can see the kitchen in back.

Ordered a pizza for pickup. It was a really solid pizza and it tasted fresh. I would definitely order from here again.

My family and I have been getting pick-up here for a couple of years, and it is consistently good, ready on time, and the people are always friendly. The crusts are thicker and the slices are cut square style(the pizza is round), so you may not like it if you only like thin-crust pizza. It may not be fancy, but this is our go-to place for a good, inexpensive cheese pizza in Glastonbury.
