I’ve given this place a lot of chances. I vape, it’s a vape store and they have pretty good juice. That’s where it ends for me. Firstly, this review is just for this store. Overall the other stores don’t seem to have the same issues that this one does. My gripes are they are usually always out of the juice I want with no clear answer on when they’ll get more. The staff has no concept of customer service. Sure they may know a lot about vaping but they seriously need to work on their customer service. There are no clear answers to my questions regarding stock. When you’re waiting around for help, most of the time you’re ignored and have to take it upon yourself to actually get attention from one of the employees. This review was triggered by me visiting the store just now only to be told that they have the juice I asked for but can’t sell it due to some issue with receiving or something like that. I have been asking on and off about the availability of the juice in question and then when they finally have it, they refuse to sell it to me. This was the last straw for me. I’ve spent a lot of my money at avail and I will be taking my business elsewhere after this. Visit and buy at your own risk. If you don’t care about being customer service then this place could be ok for you.

Bad quality control is the biggest reason why I’m not returning. I purchased a mechanical mod, and it basically needed to be slightly modified to function. Even then, it functioned poorly. I asked about the potential for voltage drop, and was told that, because the mod was made of metal, there was no voltage drop. The employees don’t know what they’re doing. Their juice selection and flavors are good, but not good enough to offset the bad hardware selection, quality, and service.

I stopped in because I had a problem with my vape. I was assuming that I had to replace it and was prepared to pay for another one. The young lady working there took a quick look at it and discovered that it was a simple fix. She also took the time to clean it and replace the part for me. I was surprised by how helpful she was and chose not to make a quick buck by selling me something I didn’t need. I will definitely return for all my vaping needs. Also, they have a very extensive juice collection.

Avail is HORRIBLE, and I would almost buy cigarettes before I spent a dime in that place ever again. Hopefully I’d never be that desperate. I haven’t been so angry in a very, very long time. I’ve been shopping here out of convenience for about a year, and so many times I have said never again. This time is a DEFINITENEVER again. Customer service is the worst. I’ve been insulted, ignored, even accused of lying. These smug little boys(and girl, that has literally rolled her eyes at me before) are the most arrogant people in ties that I have ever encountered. It’s not the only vape store in town, folks. Here, I purchased a tank that wouldn’t pull well and when I went back and mentioned it, they claimed I must have messed up the o ring in it… although I never opened it before it happened – it even still has the same juice in it as when I bought it. They are always out of my favorite juice – but there’s always a shipment coming. Once, they told me they didn’t have it, but the shipment was in the back and they haven’t opened it yet. And then just stared at me. It wasn’t busy in the store, and all the little sales people are joking and vaping behind the counter. I had also bought a Nautilus tank, that I dropped and broke and threw away because I was told there were no replacements for the glass, and«maybe» I might be able to find something on line. Not true, in fact there’s another store 10 minutes up the road that has them! Too late, mine was already in the trash. Among other little things. Last week, I went in to purchase juice and had a really great sales person. Wow. Who ended up selling me a clone gadget that would satisfy all my wants and needs. After explaining why I was apprehensive about buying anything new from Avail, after spending money on things I don’t like or the tank experiences, he assured me that the store was under new management and that there was a 2 week return guarantee, I caved and bought it. When I went to unscrew it to change the battery the first time, the spring popped out around the ignition button and came apart and I couldn’t manage to get the thing to screw back in evenly. This was about 2 days after I bought it. So, with all the promise of a better experience, I took it in to see if they could help me get it screwed back in correctly. And turns out the screw is bent and I must have dropped it and caused it to happen. I did not drop it, and was basically accused of lying. That type of issue could not be caused by dropping the thing, and it’s brand new without a scratch on it. How would dropping it cause a BEND on the inside of an intact steel device? I took it to the store up the road, who verified that it was the device, not the user, and had to basically beat the screw to even it out. Grrr, they don’t even deserve the one star. They don’t deserve the time I spent writing this review. I am not a complainer, and certainly the farthest from vengeful, but this needed to be said. And a dissatisfied customer tells their story 10 times more than the satisfied customer does. All my vaping friends will definitely hear this one.

Honestly I’m all about helping new businesses and trying new places but this place was horrible. I live in St. Louis now and was in town visiting family for Christmas I needed to pick up some new coils for my protank 3. I visited this location in Short Pump AND their location in Norfolk. Sadly they were equally terrible. Firstly, the staff is ill informed about their products. One guy told me they didn’t carry the protank 3 coils because the protank wasn’t available for purchase yet. Wrong– I own one. Secondly, their selection is very limited and they only have a few flavors of juice to try before you buy. All of that aside the guys working at the two locations we went to were rude. We stood in line for over 15 minutes without being spoken to we had to go up to the counter and tell them we’d been waiting in line. They didn’t offer any help they pretty much stared at us blankly until we told them what we needed. The prices here are steep, I wouldn’t mind paying the extra money if I was getting a phenomenal product or great customer service. After this experience we will never shop in your stores again and we will advise all of our friends to take their business elsewhere.(If you hire people for a customer service position I would suggest hiring people who at least have a personality.)
