I was looking for a pair of nice earrings. Denny and his team helped me find two beautifully matched stones and had them mounted for me. He provided a lot of support in giving me a number of matched diamonds from which to choose and provided valuable insight from his experience when I was choosing a post and mount. I found the quality of the stones, the mounting work, and the prices very reasonable and better than I could ever get at a typical jewelry store. I highly recommend this company!

I have been shopping for an engagement ring for a few weeks and Diamond Source of Virginia was one of the businesses I requested a quote from. The person responding was Denny Reinke. Just as in Sammy M’s review, the quote I received was much higher than everywhere else. I wrote back to Danny, asking for a better price with the comment that I will accept a smaller /​lower quality diamond, and a 14k gold bank rather than a 18k one. The response was short and sweet: congrats on finding a diamond elsewhere, good luck with your purchase. Basically no intention of working with the Customer’s budget. This is the price, take it or leave it. Not a good way to do business folks, I am certainly moving on. By the way, I ended up getting the same ring with a better diamond for $ 1750 less from another jewelry shop. Shop around!

Here it is, 4 months after I received my dazzling diamond ring and not a day goes by without multiple people commenting on how beautiful it is. Strangers even stop me in the grocery store to tell me what a spectacular ring I have! I am hugely indebted to Denny’s company for the hard work he put in sourcing the perfect diamond and for choosing the right company to create the setting for it. I am also glad that I was smart enough to choose Diamond Source of Virginia over the other companies that quoted me for smaller and poorer quality stones!

When designing an engagement diamond ring, I came in contact with ‘Denny’ of Diamond Source of VA. His quote was WAY higher than all the other jewelers I met with. When I let Denny know we would not be going with his company, he was clearly miffed. However, a few months later, when we again had a diamond to set, I contacted Diamond Source of VA because I found a setting of theirs that I LOVED during a Google image source. BIG MISTAKE. Denny had not gotten over my choosing another jeweler even though months had passed. He was petty enough to find our old e-​mail thread and attach it to his response and refused to even give us a quote! Apparently Denny does not like his customers to be decerning shoppers. Working with Denny was more like dealing with a jealous ex boyfriend than a professional!

Denny at Diamond Source of Virginia did an amazing job finding me the perfect diamond and helping me find the right design for the mount. But what really made it for me was the above and beyond nature of the people at Diamond Source of Virginia. I had a challenge in getting the ring by my desired date due to the crazy weather this winter (I live in the Northeast). However, Diamond Source of Virginia came up with a creative way to get the ring to me in time for me to make the proposal on the day I had originally planned. These guys were great and I’d highly recommend them to anyone.
