The hotel is clean and the front desk staff have been wonderful– however I am writing this review at 2 a.m. because the fire alarm went off at 1:11 a.m. for the second time in two days– before you book ask if this has been resolved. Got the impression from fire department it happens way too often. So much for sleep!

We got placed in a handicap room and the alert light started flashing for no apparent reason very early in the morning, waking me and my girlfriend up. We called the front desk and they said someone would be there to fix it. We waited 15 minutes and when no one had shown up, we called again. They said someone would be up after housekeeping had clocked in(did they not have someone on call?). After another half hour of continuous flashing, the light eventually turned itself off. No one came to turn it off. I know this wouldn’t be a regular occurrence for most guests, so I would still recommend the hotel overall, but the customer service could definitely use some work.

Wonderful price! Wonderful staff! Great continental breakfast! Great rooms! I will go back to a Hampton anytime! We didn’t have a hotel booked and we Unilocaled this one and called and they were very helpful. We stayed dec. 27th for $ 99 family of 4.

Dynamic pricing, pricing changes continually depending on how full the hotel is. When it gets closer to full price the rate goes to $ 139.00/day vs ~$ 90.00 when the bookings are low. Look at other comparable alternatives like the marriott springhill which has the same amenities like indoor pool when the price is over ~100.00/day. The Marriott has a low price guarantee, they don’t try to gouge you by changing the pricing as aggressively. Minus one star for nonfunctioning heater/thermostat and not being able to provide replacement room on first day then anothern 2 stars for fixing the thermostat and the heater didn’t output any eat. 0 hrs sleep the first day, 3h the next. Free parking, wifi, bfast as advertised. Consistently high Unilocal reviews. 2.5 star hotel on priceline scale. Much better than wyndham/wingate and candlewood suites. 1) Full digital cable, ESPN, local channels, syfy, bet, disney. 2) Excellent service, if you don’t like the service they offer you a money back deal. Not sure if this is really a policy the owners enforce. 3) martin’s grocery store across st, easy to get healthier ready made food there instead of eating out every day. Nothing shady, they don’t try to bootleg cable signals or lie about their wifi performance or cut corners in their morning bfast.

I have always enjoyed Hampton Inn hotels, there is rarely a bad experience with them. The hotel is neat and clean, there are plenty of places to eat around the hotel. Shopping mall is close by, location is pretty good. The staff are friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel.
