Great experience tonight at Longhorn. Walked in on a Wednesday night was was seated right away. Our server took our drink orders promptly and was very patient as my husband deliberated over the many choices for his meal order. Two of the three dinners came our in a reasonable amount of time, but our server let us know that my husband’s steak looked overcooked, so she had them start another one. She was very apologetic. The manager came over and apologized too. We ate the other meals, so they wouldn’t get cold,(which were very good parmesan crusted chicken and bone-in ribeye) but by the time the last meal came out, we were pretty much done eating. Again both the server and the manager we all apologies and sincerely wanted to make it right. We weren’t angry, and the final product was very good — we stayed as my husband enjoyed his perfectly done steak, and were not hurried at all. They checked on us again to see if we wanted anything else, and they let us know that the manager picked up our tab. We were not expecting that at all, and greatly appreciate it. We will be back again soon, just because we feel like we were well taken care of in a less-than-perfect situation. Thanks Longhorn!

I have been to many LongHorn steakhouses and have to say this is one of the best ones. The staff was amazing, they greeted us and promptly we were seated. Our waiter was really nice and gave great recommendations. I have to say that this was one of the best experiences I have had at a longhorn!

First visit. Walked in. No wait. Our server, Lori, was perfectly attentive and ready to answer any questions. We thoroughly enjoyed some post — Thanksgiving prime rib. Beautifully color, juicy and melt in your mouth. A delicious end to a busy Saturday.

DECEMBER2014EXPERIENCE I went here about a year ago with my family and if I had Unilocal when I went there a year ago I would rate it 1 star what happened was we all ordered food like you usually do but they messed up my food and my grandmothers… 3 times so my grandmother didn’t eat and I had bread and there was also no clean silverware and dishes, we gave the waiter a $ 2 tip which we thought was ok because of how bad the quality of the food and the service was, we then found out from the manager that there were 2 party’s that day and they weren’t «prepared» for regular people to dine after the waiter came around and got the check and tip from us we left because the manger said that the meals were on them while we were leaving the waiter literally RAN out to her car and drove away NOVEMBER2015EXPERIENCE We decided to come back(mainly because we got these cards that gave us 5 free meals) and try it again everything was great except they messed up my steak and it was a small 6 or 8 oz steak and it took them 20 minutes to fix but once they brought it out it was great we once again got everything for free with the cards and then we left OVERALLREVIEW I would recommend this place but not for parties and stuff like that This place to me is like an average cheap steak that is really good

First time at this location, the wait was long but bareable. Once we were seated our server was on point with everything. The appetizers were delicious, we chose the sampler with wild west shrimp, stuffed mushrooms and chicken wraps. The wild west shrimp were a small dish of shrimp with a little spice kick to them. Very good. I was told the mushrooms were good but I wouldnt know since I wouldnt touch them with a 10 ft pole, the chicken wraps were just okay. nothing special, not bad just ok. My entrée was longhorn salmon. It was marinated in a bourbon sauce… I ate every single morsel of this… the salmon deserved 5 stars by itself. I also had a loaded baked potato and steamed broccoli. great sides to compliment my salmon. My family ordered outlaw ribeye steak. it was cooked perfectly, and cowboy pork chops which she said were good too. My drink was the peach margarita, It was made well, and lasted through my whole meal surprisingly. I would try it again. I will be back for more salmon LS.

Th filet mignon is always awesome. One of the best things this chain steakhouse does perfectly is deliver consistent quality and taste in all their dishes regardless of the location. I’ve eaten at longhorn in several different states and its s guarantee for me the food will taste awesome! Drinks are great, service is great, even on a busy Saturday night! Our server was John B and he was outstanding!

This is the very best Longhorn visit we have EVER had! Marcus was our server, a true Longhorn ROCKSTAR!:) He made sure everything came out perfectly, kept the goodies coming, and kept the table clear! He was very personable, and every single thing we ordered was truly AWESOME! Alicia was the manager on duty and made sure everything was going smoothly as we can be a bit finicky. All in all, 5 stars, and we highly recommend it!

I really liked our waiters personality and this locations décor but those were the only positives of our night, I knew we should have stayed home and cooked. The #1 bad was that our order took 45 minutes to hit our table and we didn’t order any steaks or anything difficult to cook. The manager came out and offered 25% off the check because there was something in the kitchen that happened beyond her control, the standard excuse. Most places have a floating manager that probably would have caught us waiting but we literally didn’t see her or our waiter for a good 30 minute stretch but we kept seeing other tables that were sat after we arrived, get their orders. I found this humorous and so did my 4 year old nephew but the rest of my table didn’t. I liked the food although my dad and brother in law didn’t because they were given the other ones order(cooked differently) and didn’t realize it until half way finished eating their plates, the #2 bad. Our waiter apologized profusely and was genuinely sorry, so I understand stuff happens but my 70 year old Dad doesn’t stand for these errors these days. And my brother in law prefers non chain restaurants(we forced him to go here) so he was hot that this store did exactly what he expected, mess up his order and took longer than needed to do it. Positives? The broccoli was the highlight of my night, delicious. My nephew liked the coloring book and some fruit the waiter initially brought him with our drinks. Very nice wait staff(he was sorry, I could tell) and super cute waitresses. Whose to blame? No one. We kinda knew what we were getting into when we walked in the door and we won’t make that mistake again, our bad.

Sub par service & food was just as bad… Very disappointed. Visited tonight(Mon evening), place was almost empty. We were not greeted after being seated for about 10 mins, then steak came out almost completely rare after ordering it medium. Service was slow …

We had the Hamburger with sliced prime rib on it. forgot the name… it was fabulous. It came with au jus and horseradish. Cooked medium, had lots of flavor, grilled onions, cheese… will order it again.

I am shocked I am giving a chain restaurant such a high score, but it was really, really good. My boyfriend and I had dinner here last week because we had a gift card for the Darden group after we had such a terrible experience at the West Broad Olive Garden. We did not go in with high expectations, but we quickly were surprised. We were quoted a 20 minute wait time, but were seated withing 10 – 15 minutes. Our server, Faye, was amazing. Such a sweet girl with an amazing attitude for such a busy night. We never went without refills and she took a genuine interest in our table. As for the food, it was excellent for a chain. We ordered the chicken bites, the Texas tonion, the pretzel sticks, and the steak sandwich to share. Our favorite was definitely the pretzel sticks, they almost seemed fried and were served with two very different sauces. The chicken was perfectly spicy and the steak sandwich with fries was well cooked and a huge portion. Though we liked the Texas tonion, it was our least favorite of the dishes, but it was still very good! I have to say, I am very impressed with this Darden group restaurant.

Excellent salmon salad with blue cheese dressing. You get a large portion of salmon. Drinks and service were great. Definitely on my list of go tos!

I’ll pass. Stopped in Sunday night and got the lamb chops with horseradish mashed potatoes and spinach. Sounds delicious, right? Well, they didn’t even ask how we wanted the chops cooked. They were okay, but they were a little too done. The mashed potatoes were inedible. I love horseradish mashed potatoes, but these were tart. The spinach was fine. The meal also came with a side salad, which was bland iceberg. The beer was cold.

If I was still in LA, I wouldn’t even give it a try! Here I’m in RVA and it is Thursday night. Let’s get some steak. Lol I don’t know where people’s high expectation comes from for this type of chain restaurant but I’m totally fine with it knowing what is coming. My experience was decent. When I got out of the restaurant, I thought it was Friday night! Happy RVA life.

We had lunch at Longhorn Steakhouse today. I ordered the half chicken wrap sandwich and a ceasar salad. My wife ordered a half prime rib sandwich and a ceasar salad. The first bite of the chicken wrap was good until the after taste arrived. The Caesar salad also had a metallic after taste. Neither of us finished our salads. My wife informed me that the sandwich was mediocre at best. We had a gift card so we felt better that we did not have to pay for the meal. The server was very nice and took care of us even though she looked as if she had too many tables for one person.

I expected a wait for a table here as I arrived at 6:30p, prime time for the dinner crowd. I must say the seating, while not that long of a wait(15 min) we were presented the first table near the main walk thru of the restaurant. Close enough to the hostess station to feel the cold come in when the door opened. Why do they put tables here? Instead if waiting for another table we just decided it would be ok. Service was fairly quick with beverage and app orders taken care of without wondering where our waiter was. It was fairly busy overall yet I thought this may be the smallest footprint of a Longhorn Steakhouse I’ve ever seen. My salad came with onions and I specifically asked for one with no onions. Steaks all around came out on time and cooked as requested. This was a decent steak dinner, reasonably priced… but nothing to deserve more than 3 stars in my opinion. You may want to avoid that busy traffic/cold when door opens first table. I will next time.

Came in for a late lunch on a Saturday afternoon. We called ahead to let them know we’d have a party of 10 and we’d be there in about 10 mins. When we arrived about 10 mins later, we all had to stand around waiting for them to push some tables together for us. No huge deal. Our waitress was real polite and helpful, but the food took a long time to come out. Portions were a good size, but the quality of the food was mediocre. I got the steakhouse Mac and cheese and a bowl of soup, the cheddar potatoe soup, which was pretty awesome. Much better than the Mac and cheese, which made me feel kinda sick after. Overall, I’d recommend going somewhere else

Tonight was not your night Longhorn Steakhouse. You treated me like a bad relationship. On our first date, I asked for medium rare and you gave me well done. That’s like me buying you a drink and you walking away without saying thank you. On our second date, hoping for a perfectly cooked medium rare, you bring me medium after making me wait 30min. My baked potato had gone cold and half-eaten and my steak was as dry as the back of my head where I have eczema. It’s almost as if you didn’t even give me a chance to tell you what could have been between me and you. I realize we’re not meant to be and I appreciate you giving me back money on steaks I didn’t want to eat. It’s a nice gesture but you didn’t have to make me wait an additional 30min to receive the bill. We’re breaking up — can I just have my favorite tee shirt back?

A-ok. we decided to come here after Hogshead had too long of a wait. The place looks straight out of a commercialized hunting lodge. We were promptly seated and ordered two margaritas and two lunch specials. Interesting how the margaritas were more pricey than the lunch special. I had the mango margarita. It was tasty at first but towards the end was too sweet. Next time I will ask for less sugar. My husband got the raspberry margarita. It tasted like a standard raspberry margarita. As for our lunch specials. They were really good. I got the half brisket sandwich and a house salad. It was tasty. My husband got the lobster and clam chowder and a half brisket. He loved it, especially the potato chips with bacon and cheese. Kudos go out to our server who made sure my chips came out sans cheese when I requested it off the salad.
