My first time here with a friend, & we showed up about 20 minutes before closing. They took us anyway and the ladies who gave us pedicures were very nice. The prices were reasonable and the place is beautifully decorated and very spacious. They accept tips in cash only, so if you don’t want to pay ATM fees bring money. That’s probably the only reason I’m only giving 4 stars.

Customer service by the«management» staff is terrible. My first visit was nice and my nails were done very well by a woman named Nary. Forward two weeks later, I returned and asked for Nary to complete a French Shellac manicure. I was told she only works Thursday through Sunday. The girl that sits at the front desk encouraged me to see someone else because«it’s all the same outcome.» So I was paired with another lady. I quickly discovered that, no, not all outcomes are the same because it was evident this woman didn’t exhibit the same level of care or precision. She had to fix multiple mistakes and rushed through the job. On top of that, she cured the shellac and then filed the top of my nails again, effectively negating the seal. I also had my eyebrows done… horribly. There was a whole chunk missed at the bottom near the bridge. I left feeling disappointed. On Monday, I decided to call and ask for them to fix my nails. I was told yes and to come in. Fast forward to Tuesday. Several nails are chipping at the top and there are bubbles in the gel. Additionally, she put so much nail polish on that it pooled at the cuticle and looks tacky. I returned to the salon and was told, «You should really make an appointment when Nary is back since she works part-time now.» I asked if that means I would have to pay again and she responded yes. Instead of arguing, I just decided to leave and file a merchant dispute. Needless to say, I will take my $ 40 for a manicure someplace else.

This place doesn’t even deserve a star. My friend and I went in there wanting designs on our nails. I showed them a pic and asked if they r able to do the design. They said they could. When I sat down, the nightmare started. First of all, the lady who was giving me manicure didn’t even file my nails right. They were uneven. Took no time to give me manicure. When she started to paint my nails I noticed she was using different colors. When I told her she was using a wrong color she started yelling and started speaking in Vietnamese and I’m guessing she was talking about us. She didn’t finish my nail and didn’t even apologize. They tried to charge me full price for manicure. When I tried to explain to them that they did not provide me with the service that I’m paying for the owner didn’t even come to talk to me or acknowledge my concerns. At that point I didn’t want to stay there any longer so I just paid and left. I’ve been to many nail places but this was by far the worse place I’ve ever been to. So do your self a favor and do not waste your money and time here!!!

I live down the street(literally) from this place so it’s wonderfully located in the shopping center that I frequent almost daily. I had been going here for 2 years getting gel mani’s done by Chris. Eyebrows done by Dara. I tried getting Pedi’s done twice and each time I got cut and scraped by two different techs so I opted never to get a pedi done there ever again… When Dara abruptly left I felt abandoned b/c I am VERY finicky about my eyebrows and who I let touch them… Again, I let two separate gals do my brows and each time I was NOT happy w/the outcome. So my 2-strike rule was in effect from that point. I still continued to get my mani’s done by Chris however his skills, time management and professionalism have fallen off a great deal. He stopped listening to what I WANTED and decided to do his own thing whenever I asked for a change from my usual. His work has gotten sloppy, I feel like he thinks he’s doing ME a favor… He’s good when he wants to be and sadly that is NOT satisfactory in my book… My relationship w/this place is over… I’ve moved on and I would not recommend this place to anyone unless your in a rush to get something done really fast or are in a desperate situation. Otherwise, save your money and go elsewhere where you’ll get your money’s worth…

I would probably never go back here. Friendly staff but expensive and felt rushed. For a manicure and pedicure I spent $ 50 plus tip and had lotion rubbed on me for probably 2 minutes total. I later went home and fixed where the nail polish was on my skin. Not worth the trip.

Reasonable prices. About 50% of the staff seems to turn over fairly frequently although some of the employees have been there for a while. Every time I befriend a particular manicurust, after a few weeks they are gone. The shop seems to be a bit cleaner than some others and I appreciate that. The manicures and pedicures are always well done.

This place is great… I was there this morning for a pedi, and I’ll be making this my new regular salon… It’s in a shopping center next to a Martins, and it’s a bit out of the way(all the way up near 295 and Staples Mill) but for $ 23 you can get a spa pedicure complete with warm lotion, a hot stone massage, and a brand spanking new massage chair. The chair massages everything from your neck to your knees, and can be adjusted about a million different ways. Plus, on Saturdays they open at 9am– my friend and I arrived at 9:40am and got chairs immediately– we were the only customers. Soon after almost all the chairs were full… so clearly it’s a well-kept secret. Oh and they do a very nice job… my polish is nicely applied, and my feet feel great. Highly recommend checking this place out if you live in Lakeside or even Northside… One note– if you want to put a tip on your credit card, let them know before they swipe the card.
