Rapid Pizza VA

This is one of my favorite places to get food from. It is always hot and tastes good.

Still my favorite pizza place so far. However, this time was the quickest service I’ve had since eating here. That makes me even more likely to visit again in the near future.

You really won’t be disappointed. Great food, awesome variety, and friendly service… this proves to be the same if you order Delivery!

I ordered a meat lovers pizza and garden salad for delivery through Eat24. Besides the fact that I indicated that I wanted the food to be delivered at 6:30pm and it showed up at my house at 4pm (–_​_​-​), I loved Rapid Pizza.
Pizza is one of my favorite foods and I can be picky about it when I want to be. The most important thing is that the sauce-​to-​cheese ratio has got to be on point. I like my ‘za saucy and cheesy. Of course I love a good crust as well, but that’s not as important. When they delivered, I was happy to find that this pizza was piping hot, not outrageously greasy, fragrant, and full of toppings. I could not wait to dig in! But first, I was going to do the right thing and eat the salad. I really loved how substantial the salad was. There was plenty of cheese, tomatoes, and other salad-​y toppings. I asked for the homemade Greek vinaigrette dressing and it was delicious. Then, it was time to sink my teeth into some pizza. My oh my how delish! My mom commented on how fresh the sauce tasted and she was so right! Everything about the pizza was fresh, cheesy, and saucy: Just how I like it! The toppings were a hit as well. I love how the sausage wasn’t those balls of meat, but rather actual round chunks of sausage.
The best part? This place is so close to me and I would have never known about it had it not been for Unilocal.Bow Down!

Bad news tonight! Friday night and ordered 2 subs from Rapid through Grub Hub at 8:00pm. They arrived at 10:07 after a promised time of 9:07. They called at 9:30 and said they had 2of the same orders, trying to straighten them out, blah blah coming soon!
We ordered extras on subs and were charged for those extras but did not get them. Called them! Rapid Pizza didn’t care really. Said they would pick up the food and give us a credit at 10:30 at night! Thanks Rapid Pizza! Or is it Grub Hub? So hungry we ate as they were. Return? C’mon! A coupon or some sort of comp would have been appreciated. Last week ordered from a different pizza place through Grub Hub and it was over an hour late from when promised. Food is good but anything tastes good when you are starved. No coupons, no compensation.
Think twice before you order from here for delivery or through Grub Hub delivery.

Very quick delivery. Food? Ahhh… The pizza was good. Not the best we have ever had. The sauce tasted different, not bad just different. The sausage sub was quickly swallowed with smiles on everyone’s faces. And I loved the fried mushrooms.
Two things
1. Be specific with what you want. Where I live they bring/​offer you hot peppers and parmesan cheese when you order delivered pizza. Here they don’t. It makes a difference in the taste of your pizza
2. Even though on here they say you have a discount coming your way, unless you pick up you don’t. Double check with coupons and discounts before you place your order

The bacon and egg cheese burger, the cheese steak, Parmesan garlic chicken, tirimisu and cinnamon brown sugar and butter sweet potato French fries are excellent and service is polite and pretty darn quick

A very good quality pizza and overall meal at Rapid Pizza VA tonight. The meaty pizza was cooked to perfection. The small house salad was large and very good. The homemade garlic rolls were huge and unbelievable. The staff was very attentive. We will come back here again when in the area.

I’m house sitting for some friends in Henrico and caring for their Pekingese while they’re traveling. I decided to treat myself out the last night I was here.
I did a Unilocal search for pizza, and this place was the first or second that popped up. It had the best photos and reviews. It was a bit difficult to find, mostly because I’m directionally retarded and in my defense, it was set farther back from the road than the surrounding buildings. It’s right next to a mission/​care place for aged people in a strip of five or so buildings. Don’t run over the stray cat that lives behind the building when you pull into the parking lot!
I only wish this place were in Carytown so I could walk here … and stumble back home to sleep off my food coma. This place is service with a smile. A gentleman named Robert seated and served me, another man whose name I did not catch kept my drink refreshed, and Dave who reminded me of the TV Pawn shop guy with the pony tail was very pleasant as well. They’re proud of their craft pointing out that the dough and sauce is made in-​house. I don’t recall if he mentioned the cheese, but he did indicate it’s all in-​house.
The pizza is really awesome. I’m a cheese pizza freak, so I don’t get extra or fancy toppings. On occasion I will get garlic or extra cheese. I keep it plain and simple, enjoying the really basic essence of what makes a good pie. The dough is crisp and chewy and the sauce is really tangy and compliments the dough and cheese. They gave me a sample of their garlic knot which was absolute bliss. It was a bit hot coming out, so I had to give it a minute to cool down, but it was not dried out or over cooked (or under-​cooked). The ratio of garlic was spot-​on.
The prices are very reasonable ($ 9.99 for a large pizza) and for this meal I got a 10% discount for checking in on Unilocal.I will be back, and I will bring friends!

This has been our Sunday night GO TO place for the past 3 weeks! It has been phenomenal each time. Great pizza, fantastic eggplant parmesan and maybe the BEST lasagna I’ve ever had. Can’t say enough great things about this place! We love it!

Great food, great service. The owner was very nice and helped us himself. He even threw in 2 of their homemade rolls, which were also very good. I didn’t realize I was ordering a pizza without marinara sauce or I would have added it but pizza still tasted good. A little high on price but makes up for it in service.

My husband and I love this place. He always picks up our order (which is usually once per week). He talks about how friendly the staff is. The food is always delicious and hot even after traveling home with it. I’ve had sandwiches, pizza and pasta… all delicious and not a bad meal yet!

Had a steak and cheese
No flavor at all, do you even put salt and pepper on the meat? All I could taste was green peppers no taste at all and soggy bread.
Messed up my stomach too and I have a cast iron down there.
Wamp Wamp let down…

Great friendly staff… great food! Try the party pizza… enough for a family to enjoy now and later!
Zeppoli are a nice dessert!
