Lucy gave me a wonderful facial yesterday. She is excellent and pays attention to so many details. She is always willing to explain things to me and does such a good job. My skin looks fabulous thanks to her!

This is truly a hidden gem! The décor was fabulous and so serene. My esthetician, Lucy, was amazing as always and I love her new location. Brazilian, under arm, and legs, all amazing! My skin feels amazing, especially with the essential oils she used. Needless to say, this will not be my last visit! Make sure you visit, you won’t be sorry.

Lucy is simply amazing with facials and waxing! She has been in the business for while and is very knowledgable. Great person and wonderful experience every time I come here!

Scents of Serenity is one of the loveliest spas — serene — excellent products and truly an oasis in Richmond — I love that they have top organic lines like Eminence and Jane Irendale products not to mention the best of essential oils Doterra. Lucy is one of the best estheticians out there and is now at SOS — I had an amazing facial as usual — especially when my skin was very stressed out — I walked away looking fresh & glowing as she really knows how to customize treatments and recommend the best/​yet least invasive options to keep skin healthy and looking amazing. Also she does an excellent job on Brazilians, waxing, eyebrow shaping etc. So glad that 2 of the best are combined now — Scents of Serenity & Lucy! Can’t wait to go back!

Being a «returned to VA, spent the last 8 years in CA) person I recently discovered Scents of Serenity Spa. I was seeking an Eminence Organic Skin Care spa and decided to try them! I have been beyond lucky to find Tracy Finnie a Master Esthetician for all my facial and Dermaplaning needs as well as waxing (sugaring). She is a gift from God and I sincerely mean that. She is not only the best at what she does but her amount of experience and breadth of knowledge is beyond anything I have ever experienced. She is always learning the newest in her field and sharing that with her clients. Tracy has such an amazing touch that the extraction aspect is almost pain free. Almost. Tracy will take the time to educate you and answer all of your questions. Not too mention the relaxation her facials give you. I leave Tracy feeling AND looking at least 20 years younger. My spirit as well as my body is rejuvenated! The entire spa is relaxing, beautiful, and just makes you feel very comfy, cozy and well taken care of. They also sell everything Eminence and have a lot of stock. I never worry that they will not have an item. They also just added Jane Iredale which is really skin care cosmetics and I have been wearing that as well for years. They carry a few other product lines as well. I am now a Scents of Serenity woman for the rest of my life and will never allow anyone else to touch my face but Tracy. The staff as well is very knowledgable and nice. I adore the owner also she is awesome and so patient! I really cannot recommend them enough for facials, massage, nails, waxing… They r worth every penny and then some!

Had a Brazilian and facial from Lucy! It was wonderful. She is sooooo good at what she does. My skin is glowing and it was very relaxing!

I had the most incredibly relaxing time at Scents of Serenity Organic Spa. I had received a gift card at Christmas and saved it to use for a little birthday pampering. I treated myself to the signature facial, and was it ever a treat! Tracy is absolutely gifted! She is extremely knowledgeable about skin care, is judicious in choosing products, and had the perfect touch. The facial made my skin feel wonderful, but the hand, neck, shoulder, and head massage made the entire treatment complete. It truly was the best of both worlds (massage and facial). On top of that, the place smells heavenly, and the rooms are beautifully decorated. Treat yourself. It is absolutely worth it.

Sweet lord if I could marry Tabitha my massage therapist… Well technically I guess I could but I like my guys… I would! I actually saw that Lauri had checked in here as I was looking for a massage place and this place did not disappoint! The smell when you walk in the front door is amazing and the head cold k currently have was gone due to the lovely aromatherapy. My therapist was amazing and focused on my sinuses to help with my cold. Felt amazing! Would go back in a heartbeat!

My boyfriend’s an athlete, weight trains regularly, and also works on his feet all day long… he’s a knotted up and tense guy; not much i can personally do for his ailments. It was time for a professional massage. Since this was his first time, he was really nervous and so he BEGGED me to go with him… I’ve had a few before so I knew what I was getting myself into and well… he didn’t really have to beg ;) Luckily SoS have Couples Massages! It was incredible. From first walking in the door, the smells hug you and invite you into this magical place. Both of our massages left us feeling like babies fresh from the womb. Born again, if you will. It was delightful. I’ve never seen my boyfriend so blissful. Definitely the best massage I’ve ever had, so I was feeling quite euphoric myself.
I highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone. Reasonably priced for the atmosphere, and quality and talent of staff. We will certainly be back! Thank you SoS!

My best friend treated me to a massage for my birthday at Scents of Serenity and I LOVED it. The ambience of the the place was so relaxing and welcoming. I would highly recommend everyone to go here. I also love that the products were organic. I plan on going back soon.

Awesome place for a facial. My teen daughter had her first facial here. Great products, very nice staff. Fit us in on short notice. Will definitely go back!

Scents is such a unique place. The outside is unsuspecting, but when you step inside the common room you’ll be pleasantly surprised by what you see and smell… Then when you enter the treatment room, you’ll feel as if you’ve just walked into a Home and Garden magazine that’s come to life. The owner decorated it, and she clearly has put much thought and effort into making her spa feel warm, welcoming and feminine. I got my first sugaring Brazilian and underarm hair removal by Christine. She will talk to you about the process as she works, and makes you feel relaxed. The treatment beds are heated! I could continue– but I’ll just end with– you absolutely must visit this place if you have the opportunity.

Such a cute, relaxing place! Had a girl’s spa day – everyone loved it. Fabulous. Everyone that works here is so nice. Can’t wait to return.

I returned for the 2^nd time recently and my trip was just as wonderful as it was the first time. This is my new go-​to for all things «spa»! The aromatherapy massage was just as great as the stress buster– and once again Malia is fantastic!

Surprised my boyfriend with a couples massage to kick off his birthday weekend. Chose Scents of Serenity after reading raving reviews from fellow Unilocalers. Boy were the reviews true!
The décor of the salon immediately transported us to Relaxville. The couples room was very romantic. Malia and Michele massaged my boyfriend and I to Shangri-​la. The lavender oils and lotions used immediately eased my tension and stress. It was one of the best massages I have ever had. Michele was superb, she worked out all my body kinks. Malia had my boyfriend snoring immediately, which means she was doing an amazing job.
Definitely will return for more massages and to check out some of their other services. Thank you Scents of Serenity for a setting off my boyfriend’s birthday weekend with a beautiful start!

Melia worked on my terrible back and shoulders. One of the best massages I have had. Definitely the best in Richmond. 5 stars!!!

My husband and I had a 90 minute couples massage on Saturday. It was amazing. They did a great job. The scents used were relaxing and not over powering. Only thing I would change would be to get the music in the «Relaxation Room» fixed. We will be returning in the future.

Scents of Serenity is absolutely beyond impressive. Today’s my birthday and in honor of this momentous occasion I decided to get my first ever massage and facial! I discovered this spa while browsing on Facebook one day and was delighted to find out that it looked inviting in pictures and was about 5 minutes away from my house. I was already expecting an amazing experience based on said pictures and reviews, but what I got was so much more…
I believe that I gasped upon entering. First of all, that blue door alone is to die for. I’ve always dreamed of having a house with an ocean blue door, so from the get go I felt right at home. I was greeted immediately and given a tour of the downstairs area. The front room is light, airy, and filled to the brim with a variety of products you can buy (including DoTerra essential oils which I could not resist purchasing). The waiting room looks like something straight out of Pinterest. The eclectic décor was so homey; I felt like I was sitting down to have tea with a friend. Oh, there is free tea, coffee, and water by the way (it’s the little things…). My masseuse came downstairs to introduce herself and then we moseyed on up to one of the massage rooms.
The room was exceptional! I immediately felt at peace and, well, serene. I can’t even describe it– you have to see the pictures to believe it! I’m so glad that I chose to have my first massage ever done here. Laura made all my cares melt away and I felt more relaxed than I’ve felt in a long time. Then, Heather came in and gave me a facial that made my face feel like a baby’s butt. I’d say it was a success. I already booked my next appointment. :)
I cannot recommend Scents of Serenity enough. Just go!

My husband and I were given a gift of a couples massage at Scents of Serenity Spa. Let me tell you — we will be going back! The entire experience was so relaxing and it was actually the BEST massage we’ve ever had! (And we do get massages on a semi-​regular basis).
The house that this is located in is beautiful — from 1918 I believe and just decorated very elegantly but still maintaining that vintage feel. And the massage room was just perfect — the beds have heated pads underneath so I immediately started dozing once I laid down. It was just serene.
And then the massage therapists — they were both fantastic! My husband is much more picky than I am — as long as I’m relaxed and it feels good, I’m happy. He wants a much deeper tissue massage and so rarely finds a therapist who meets his expectations. Well, we both walked out of there very relaxed and wanting to return!
If you want a perfect massage in a beautiful surrounding, Scents of Serenity Spa is the place to go.
