I myself work in the sales world so when I needed a new mattress I was determined to at least visit the 3 – 4 stores in the VCC area. Sleepys is where I went to first. I was greeted immediately and the sales person asked me several questions to determine what kind of mattress I preferred. He had me lay down on several different types so he could get a feel of what I truly liked. I found one I liked but my inner sales rep told me to at least go to the other places. Big mistake. Not one person at the other stores even asked me what type of mattress I preferred and instead led me to the expensive ones right away. Went back and purchased the one I liked at Sleepy’s. I recently went back to purchase a 2^nd set for a guest room and had a pleasant experience, not to mention got the lowest price that any company was offering. This is definitely where I’ll be shopping from now on

So, a couple days after I leave my Unilocal review, I was messaged privately to email someone regarding my issue. I eventually received an email from a General Manager prior to the Holiday. I was still so heated/angry that I could not keep calm so I waited to contact him via phone call until I can keep my composure. I left a message knowing its the holidays, I wasnt expecting him to pick up but its now been a couple weeks and I have not heard back, email nor a phone a call. AVOID SLEEPY’S. If youre foreign or foreign looking, do NOT expect good service. All of the [female] employees I have dealt with at the 3 different Sleepy’s locations are very catty and have terrible phone-etiquette. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED.
