Really good selection of board games and table top miniatures and games. Like many hobby shops these days, they have plenty of tables and run gaming events almost every night of the week. The staff here is really helpful and friendly: I was asking them about a couple of different games I was interested in and based on their helpful input I settled on the Bolt Action starter set(WW2 tabletop miniatures game). They also offer a new miniature painting service I intend to check out too. Really cool place, I need to get back out there for Friday night Bolt Action sometime soon.

Okay, I have just no idea what’s up with this place. This time, when I came in, everything was charming, with reasonable staffing levels and a great over-all inventory. I got nothing.

I’m a casual frequenter of this game store, so I can’t say too much about the actual gaming that goes on here. What I love about this place is the variety of games available as well as the awesome service you get(particularly for those of us who are«noobs» in the gaming world). If you’re thinking of buying a board/card/dice game, either for yourself or for a gift, stop in here first and ask about it. They can definitely give you an excellent overview and sometimes may have the game in their lending library so you can give it a quick run through before buying. Their blog also has some good game reviews or they’re good about giving information over the phone if you don’t have time to come in. On the gaming side of things, there seems to always be a few people hanging out in the shop playing a variety of games, card, board, dice and otherwise. They have specific nights where they host the more popular games(DnD, Magic, Star Wars, Warhammer, etc.) for people to come and play. My brother goes to the Magic nights on Fridays and has a great time. It’s good for all playing levels it seems, since he’s still a new player, but there are people who have played for years there as well. One thing I wish they would have is a casual play day. I love board games, but am not a die hard fan or involved in any of the big complex games. I’d love a night where people could get together and just meet other people over a few games that don’t take lots of pieces or hours to learn. They also have space for parties and events which sound fun, but I’ve never experienced.

Best gaming store in the region. They focus on games and their employees are well informed in their stock, the store is well laid out with a wider verity of games, boardgames, card games, RPGs, and miniature games. Add in a large area to try games, events every night covering all genre and a non-clique attitude just creates a great experience. If you are into any kind of gaming or considering getting some you owe it to yourself to come here. I know of no other store with an open copy of almost any of their games and often times an employee willing to take the time to show you how to play it.

Best store I’ve seen so far. In a very good location. Clean. Well lit. Safe part of town. Great selection of games. Can get nearly anything for you. And they have military discount! Definitely coming back again.
