Car Center of Glen Burnie

We have bought 2 vehicles at Car Center in Glen Burnie. Awesome people! We told them exactly what we wanted to pay and they did everything they could to make it happen, not once but twice!

This place was incredible, they were able to get me into a car at a very low interest rate even though my credit wasn’t so hot. Everyone was beyond friendly. I would reccommend this place to everyone with credit issues or not.

If i could i would go lower then 1 star. First off they hold an event to win prizes and scatter them throughout the local area which is no big deal other companies do it so i open it pop the little tabs that says match and win i do match two 2,500 numbers. So i won i read the rules 5 or 6 time thinking whats the catch? Doesn’t say anything of needing to use it twords a car or ect so i called lady awnsers my questions that i indeed won i told her i opened 2 matching tabs that are 2,500. Went up there guy runs right into a sales pitch without end. I politely tell him i do not need a car he gets up and grabs me a walmart gift card for $ 5 confused i ask thats not my prize he tells me according to my flyer code it is. The numbers behind the pop ups are just numbers. Then why use numbers that are your cash prizes? Scam once my anger subsides i will call the manager or owner and give them a chance to fix this if not ill call the BBB and file a formal complaint for dishonest business practice. After seeing the other Unilocal reviews im not suprised. This company wont last long in this area.

Brought a vehicle from this place. The week i got it, it was one thing after another that went wrong with the vehicle. Prior to buying it, they had me sign the carfax report on it showing that it was never in an accident. Little did i know, it in an accident and got the whole back side panel replaced. I will never refer anyone there to buy a car. Not to mention, Sean is very lazy and always try to half ass do things. Stay away from these people.

1÷19÷15 — Just got pulled over for the 2^nd time since November 2014… why? Becasue my tags are STILL REGISTERED TO THE TRUCK I TRADED IN — back in October 2014!!! Why is this? Who dropped the ball? Cop told me of I get pulled over again I’ll be given a ticket instead of the 2 warnings I’ve already recieved. Who’s going to pay that?
After I was pulled over in November I called Car center but they were no help and basically told me to wait it out because it could take up to 60 days and literally said «the cop doesnt know what he’s talking about» I called the DMV and they had no record of the new vehicle and said for me to wait the 60 days and see if car center sends the paper work… well looks like they never did! I regret purchasing a vehicle from Car Center… I’ll be calling in the morning and hope this gets resolved ASAP.
Buyer beware… quick to take your money… not so quick with following through on their end.

****UPDATE 1/​20/​15****
Today I went to car center to PICK UP MY NEW TAGS THAT THEY HAVE HAD SINCE NOVEMBER! Since November the folks at this location have been passing over my car tags and NO ONE HAS CALLED ME, not one person noticed that my tags have been sitting there for months. And when I called back in November to tell them I’ve been pulled over… the asshole I talked to should have gotten off his ass and checked to see if tags were there for me, instead in insulted my intelligence and told me that they «have been doing this for 50 years and I just need to be patient.» So I’ve been driving with illegal tags since November. Today the lady told me that she couldn’t transfer my tags back in October becasue I had a speeding camera ticket attached to my old tags… did I get a phone call about that??? NOPE. No one called me to say «Hey Cindy, we tried to transfer your tags but couldn’t because of this ticket. We are going to order you new tags instead. They should be in soon and when they are we will call you.» BUT today she took my old tags and turned them in electronically. no problem, I even got a reciept… why becasue that speed camera ticket has actually been paid since JULY!!!
I am beyond disappointed with everyone at car center of Glen Burnie for allowing it to go this long. And can not believe people can be so inconsiderate and incompetent. How many times does a customer have to call you to remedy a situation like this? Three, the answer is three times. Now I need to call the DMV and my insurance company to be sure I won’t have any fines becasue I’ve been driving with illegal tags and haven’t had insurance on these new tags. What a mess! If I have any fines from either the DMV or my insurance company. You better believe car center is paying the bill. HOWEVER, for the inconvenience they did offer to wash my fucking car. I politley declined.

I had the BEST experience at this dealership! I hate to admit it but thanks to my husband, I have HORRIBLE credit. The motor blew up in my car and I was desperate. I was immediately greeted by KONAH BLACKETT. I told him that I was worried about my credit. He was very reassuring and let me test drive several cars until I found two that I really liked. He was very patient and told me honestly what he thought about the positives and negatives in the cars I was looking at based on the questions he asked about my needs. When I finally chose one to apply for — he went to work!!! I sat in his office and watched him tenaciously go to bat for me. Within an hour I was driving off of the lot in my Dodge Charger (smile)! I love this car! It’s perfect for me! Konah is a miracle worker! I’m so happy I am telling everyone I know and will definitely be back!!! They have a nice selection of cars and are a Car Fax Advantage dealer so you can see everything about the cars before you buy. I also have a nice warranty.
