Definitely not the best food. I was looking forward to this place and my experience was not good. No one was in the place accept for the two of us and our server was slow. The food was not fresh and taste as though it was a couple days old. Disappointed…

Visited the carry out dept ! They got the jumbo crab cakes, jumbo shrimp 21⁄15 and soft shell crab daily ! Lunch special is around $ 15 per order ! Mon to Sat You won’t go wrong, if you want to have a good lunch in this area !

This place warrants 5 stars but my server was painfully slow, especially when there were maybe 6 people in the whole restaurant. Got a dozen raw oysters and they were incredible, and that is coming from someone that lives in Tampa and loves gulf coast oysters. Was told they have the best crab cakes in the area and was not disappointed at all. Fantastic. Don’t let the look of the building being rundown scare you off, this place is legit and prices very reasonable.

I was here from Florida. I had my heart set on king crab which the menu showed it was Tuesday’s special 1 lb for 19.99. They do not have king crab on the menu. The manager went to s store and bought me 2 king crab legs… I was very disappointed!

We are visiting Maryland and decided to go out for lunch. My husband suggested this place and I am so happy he did. The service is wonderful and the food is so delicious. The only con to this business is when we received our bill they stick their tip onto it. The tip they gave themselves was 7.74. The service was fine but nothing extraordinary. The food was delicious but I will not go back and be forced to pay a tip that I don’t think the waitress deserved. I always tip but would never tip this amount for service that really wasn’t worth it.

We ordered take out here pretty late at night. There isn’t too much to say nothing was wrong with it I just was underwhelmed and thought it was mediocre. The staff was nice and all Mo’s internally look like they can use a renovation. I got the grilled shrimp that was served over rice. Neither the rice or shrimp had any flavor so I would recommend they put some sort of spices and herbs on their grilled food. My friend got the Cajun combo which was better as far as flavor however the menu described it as spicy which is why i didn’t get it it wasn’t really spicy. He also got some old Bay wings they were pretty good not a whole lot of old bay just a hint which was fine with me.

Food was ok, I did a pick up order… when I came In I saw two women sitting at a table i assumed they were customers so I went and stood by the bar for my order. Stood for about 5 minutes and then the phone rang and what do you know one of the women who was sitting got up to answer it. All that time I was standing I was never greeted until after she answered that phone. That was Very rude and I will never go back these ladies need a lesson in customer service asap

Would have given this place less than two stars but the service was decent. With good friends who recommended trying this place, we gave it a shot even with the low reviews. If you go here expect nothing in the way of décor. It’s put together as if someone was in a rush to open a restaurant and tossed in anything they could find. As I said, the service was ok even though the staff had an array of colored hair, nose rings, and dressed with worn out looking clothes. The calamari appetizer was about the worst one could ask for. Chewy, rancid oil and just plain not good. We all ordered crab cakes in variety as we have experienced them in many fashions. Although somewhat better than the appetizer, the crab cakes were dry and lifeless. The scallops were considered average at best as they were slightly over cooked. The most frustrating part of the whole visit has been battling indigestion for 3 days! I’m confident the badly cooked calamari was the culprit as it had the strangest taste. This was our first and last trip to this place as there are plenty of much higher quality seafood restaurants around… period!

Uh… no thanks to this place. Bland, bland, flavorless bland. So disappointed, I really had high hopes and headed for this place right after landing at BWI, boy do I know how to pick um. The pictures of the food are truly deceptive. We ordered the fried seafood platter to share, it wasn’t fresh, nor was it good and they were expensive for no reason.

Pretty good. I had the broiled seafood combination. It was just ok. My date had salmon imperial, which consisted of huge chunks of lump crab meat and was very good. The cream of crab soup was great and also had nice chunks of crab meat. Service was decent. I’d go again.

Ummm… I’m at a loss for words. I had been dreaming of this place for weeks after liking their Facebook page and seeing all the ridiculously delicious looking food that they posted on a daily basis. So when my out of town guest came… I suggested mo’s. We ordered a large family fried seafood platter. Not fresh in the least. Ling John silvers is better than this place. Crab cake upon first bite was good then I noticed that it had too much filler(I’ll stick to timbuktu and m &…whatever the other place is callled). Platter came with 3 sides… so ordered 3 side salads and ordered another salad… total of 4. They never came out. Waitress said they were still cutting the lettuce. We finished our meal… since the salads never came we asked if we could get dessert in its place. She said no but she would box up the salads. I then said I will not eat a salad later on… esp since we already at dinner. I asked for dessert again. I told her if she couldn’t make the decision than I would like for her to talk to the manager. Waitress came back and said«the manager said no.» I asked could I speak to this mysterious manager. He came out and said that desserts were more expensive. I acknowledged that but stated that they inconvenienced us by not having our complete meal prepared. We agreed on 3 desserts which was better than nothing. I won’t be back. The food was subpar and I don’t appreciate having to beg for compensation(dessert) because of their lack of preparedness(salad preparation).

While the food was good, the service was mediocre. We had reservations for 15 and added 5 people. The had no orange juice, they ran out of Pepsi. They had no steak!!! When I went to the rest room the water was shut offside I couldn’t flush or wash my hands. It came back on after I notified the bartender! The waiter talk about how lousy the restaurant was and said she only had 2 more weeks to work there. To top it off after collecting the money and giving us change, the waitress comes back and says after recounting the money we were $ 4 short. REALLY. Never going there again.

Great place, the owner, bartenders /staff are awesome. The food is superb for the price. The Imperial fish is money! Salmon or for 2 dollars more rockfish, stuffed with shrimp, scallops and lump crabmeat and what I believe is a bearnaise sauce for 14.99.The vegetables perfectly cooked /seasoned with garlic butter. The mixed drinks are goood(4 dollar happy hour drinks of the week.) the Buffalo wings are better than most actual wing joints. The only reason I don’t give mo’s a fifth star is due to the looks. The place could use some major updating, looks old/outdated.

Service was a little slow for lunch hour. Chicken was dry. Crab cakes were delicious! Oysters were all good except for the very last one I slurped up. It’s probably better at dinner time.

So I hear that Mo’s is a popular seafood spot in Bmore. How is it that I am this crazy foodie and I have never ONCE been there? Cheese and crackers! So this particular location is in Glen Burnie, it looks pretty drab outside, minimal parking. I swear the inside wasn’t that great either. Nautical theme, small but open, dining area, ripped booths, dirty silverware, stocked bar(smile). TVs with the basketball game on. I’m not sure if this the type of place you go if you are trying to put the moves on someone… he he he hmm I dunno. The menu was large, overwhelming even, covered from front to back,(literally) with selections. Any and everything that you could think of they had and whatever combination that you wanted. To start off, we had the crab balls as an appetizer. They were cooked nicely, sized right, all and all they were pretty good. I think I tasted more mustard than I would generally care for. For dinner, I ordered the shrimp fettuccine, but I ordered the lunch portion, it was huge! Easily two helpings in one. The shrimp itself were large, and the sauce was just divine. It came with one side, I got the side salad, it was good, I wasn’t too thrilled about the selections of dressings though… meh who cares, you come here for seafood not salad. The service was great, our server was attentive, and explained things, made recommendations and was just on it. The only thing that I thought was a bit odd was that gratuity was added into the bill, even for a party of two… I’m so happy to have found this little gem, I will definitely be returning… for take out. Boom!

The crab cakes are amazing. When I went I was expecting just your average small crab cakes, but omg these things are massive. The crab was extremely fresh and the cake was packed with flavor. There wasn’t an overwhelming amount of breadcrumbs.

Love this place. I found the one by the Harbor last year and was happy to see they had a few places. But after reading the reviews for this location, we almost changed our mind. We decided to go and if the place looked filthy as some of the reviews said we had plan B(Tumbuktu) and we would have left. We were greeted by this nice waiter and sat in the dining room. The first thing we did was checking out the tables, the silverware etc… everything was clean do we decided to stay. We shared the shrimp cocktail, a bottle of Kendall Jackson Chardonnay and we each ordered the jumbo crab cake dinner. It was delicious, just as I remembered these crab cakes. I love the fact that there are huge pieces of crab and not too much filling. Most of the places we have tried so far have too much filling. They come with 2 sides each, we picked veggies, rice, apple sauce and cold slaw. We had no room for dessert and took 1 crab cake home(you get 2 huge ones each). We had a great night. The waiter was very attentive but not annoying. Will definitely come back when we are in the area.

This place is horrible. Filthy. Tasteless décor. Is this a sports bar or a seafood restaurant? Signs posted everywhere threatening a 20% added gratuity to all checks – clearly expressing their disdain towards their clientele. Oysters were not fresh. Didn’t bother to stay to find out how much worse it could get. Left after one drink & a couple oysters. Not interested in food poisoning.

Food was delicious … Waitress was a little pushy with convincing us to order drinks. The staff also assumed because a few guest order crab cake sandwiches, that the table did not want bread. We had an overall good experience and LOTS of leftovers seeing as the portions are pretty large.
