This is a good store, depending on who is working they can be sllllllooooowwww, but normally that are standard. They participate in the mobile ordering, so if you are in a hurry I suggest using it. 9 out of 10 times my order is ready when I get there, there has only been one time I can recall it wasn’t ready. But besides that, my drinks have always came out good and the store is always clean. Plus the location is very convenient for me!

This location has REALLY gone downhill. I used to come here multiple times a week, and it was great! The staff was fun and friendly, and you could tell they really enjoyed their jobs. The drinks always came out right, the inside was always clean and the layout was comfortable. It’s almost completely different now.
There was a remodel a couple of years ago, and it looks horrific. They moved a large wall shelf to the middle of the floor and put a long conference table behind it with hideous hanging lamps with way-too-harsh lighting. The staff is completely different… not just from a few years ago, but pretty much every other month. Every time I go there (which is rarely now), there are different people, and the majority of them are not pleasant. You get the vibe that you’re a nuisance to them (mostly out of the women). I can say, though, that the drinks are made well. I go out of my way to go to different locations for the most part now.

Ordered a green tea — which was apparently a ridiculously difficult order to understand. Received a black tea — but just went with it, because I didn’t have the patience to try and explain what a green tea is — again.
Train your employees on your products, Starbucks.
Was shorted on change by a dollar (which I did correct).

Every single time I visit this location I either wait a ridiculous amount of time for my drink or end up leaving because I wait in line for over 15 minutes just to place my order.

When I moved into the apartment complex near this Starbucks, my roommates and I were like, «YES, FINALLY WE LIVE NEXT TO A STARBUCKS!!!» Little did we know, it was going to be the worst Starbucks we’ve ever experienced.
Ugh. I hate that it’s so convenient to come here, because the line is always so long (that’s not their fault, they’re just in a good location), they often take forever to make the drinks, and they always seem to make the drinks not taste nearly as good as other Starbucks. I’m not sure if they’re not following the recipes as they’re supposed to… because whenever other Starbucks make these same drinks, they taste drastically better. We are the types who just order right off the menu, no special instructions or ingredient swap outs, either, or I’d be able to understand some variance.
Good points:
The staff is nice though, just a bit slow and incompetent in the drink designing.
The outdoor seating is lovely, the inside is always air conditioned.

It would get 4 stars if the weekend crew were faster. They move speedily on M-F…but I will not go back on a Sat ever. A plain old coffee took forever on Sat. This has happened twice now. The weekend staff would have this place closed if they were that slow on a Monday am. Otherwise it’s great during other times.

Not my favorite location, but it is the most convenient (2 minute drive from home) so I deal with it. Most of the staff is very friendly; however, there have been several times when I’ve walked out of there regretting I even stopped in the first place. Most recently, one gentleman got smart with me because I asked him to put the change from my drink onto my gold card. They were busy, so I understand the need to rush, but if you’re in customer service, it’s probably best to be kind to those that make sure you have a job regardless of your frustrations. Haven’t been back to this location since. Not sure if I will be returning, plenty of Starbucks around…

I stopped in this location on Saturday in the middle of running errands. Since it was frappy hour (half price 3−5p) I definitely wanted to take advantage. I ordered a grande café espresso and a slice of raspberry loaf. I waited a few minutes for my drink (it was busy, of course) and the barista called out a caramel frappucino for Cindie. I told her that I was Cindie but I ordered a Café Espresso Frap, not Caramel. She apologized and told another barista (who was making the fraps) that is was supposed to be Café Espresso. I stood around a few more minutes while people that came in after me received their drinks. So they basically moved me to the end of the frap making line. No bueno. It was their mistake and should have been made over immediately. The barista that handed me my drink the 2^nd time apologized again.
This isn’t the first time I’ve had an issue with this store, and why I don’t frequent it.

This would not be my favorite location. Just because it is always so packed and the line takes forever to move. Maybe who ever does the scheduling needs to put more than one cashier and one barista on during busy/hours.
I had a strange experience once in 2011 when on of the guy baristas followed me to my car and told me I owed him 9 cents. Umm, really?!

This is my favorite ‘Bucks in the Glen Burnie area. Jessica is usually the barista when I go in the morning and she’s fabulous. All of the other staff here are great at remembering names and usuals and are very friendly and fun to be around. Plenty of parking here and a lots of chairs and tables to set up for work or just to relax. Plus, there is a large table at this location which is great for group meetings.
The other Starbucks that I frequent a few times a week has a drive-thru and most of the staff there aren’t nearly as personable. I’m not sure if that’s a correlation, but I’d be willing to guess it is since most of their business undoubtedly comes from the window service. All that to say: don’t add a drive-thru here!
In any case, you can’t go wrong with Starbucks!

You can get to park here, get up from your car seat, get to the door, get to the line, get to the cashier, get to pick up your drink and get to the counter to mix up your beverages to your liking. It’s not easy in the morning. How about a drive thru? It’s perfectly viable to add that, I can see. Unfortunately for those who like to get their coffee while seating in the car, this starbucks location does not have drive thru. This can be a challenge but if you really need a coffee awakening, get off your butt and run into the store. No problem, it’s near 100 route exit and after shopping mall run.

My experience with this location is always warm, exciting and very comfortable… not to mention I meet some cool people here. Today I had a tall chai latte with hazelnut and 1 splenda with a slice of pumpkin bread… yummy.

I am unsure if a Starbucks deserves more than 2 stars for being average, contemporary and just an average place to get a cup of coffee from a large company, but this location is everything we’re use to from the brand and is a little on the slow side, but isn’t that bad. 3 stars.

I alternate between this Starbucks and the new one in Severna Park, and that one wins hands down. I come here to write, so I’m usually here for a couple hours. This one is CONSTANTLY full of flies. It’s disgusting. Today there are five flies that won’t leave me alone. This might be the last time I come here.
