This place just went through renovations and the bar area looks really nice with numerous tv’s. Every order comes with salad(always ask for dressing on the side they are particularly heavy handed) and bread sticks. I like to order the crab cake sandwich and it comes with a side… Mashed potatoes were creamy and delicious.

Came in for lunch. The drinks and food were on point. Not many places I go to where I enjoy the drinks but this place was awesome. Also had a great waitress, Diana. She was attentive and courteous and had everyone’s order correct.

I like this place a lot. I don’t go often but when I do go I never have any issues. The Bar area is always packed for games and there are a TON of TVs. The last time I went I sat in the dining room area and it was pretty empty because a football game was on. I ordered the Seafood Fettuccine with a side of their spicy red sauce(I forgot the name of the sauce). I love mixing my white and red sauces together if you have never tried you MUST! The spicy sauce is amazingly great and full of flavor. I LOVE the breadsticks that they have they are full of flavor as well unlike some other Italian places I have visited. The salad is good and so are the drinks. They have a variety of drinks to chose from so good luck making a decision. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a decent meal in the Glen Burnie area as well as someone who wants to eat well and watch the games.

I LOVE this place. My boyfriend and I go often and even bring our friends when they’re visiting from out of town. The food is amazing, especially the Seafood. The crab pretzel is to DIE for! The service is also really great and quick– I will say this though, they work better with smaller parties than larger. We went last night and they messed up my boyfriend’s order three times. First they were out of mints for the whiskey smash which is on their drink menu, so he settled for crown and ginger which then took about 25 minutes to come, then the sever forgot to put our soups in(and wouldn’t admit it, she tried to cover it up), then my boyfriend told the server he was stuck between two choices. He hates cheese so he asked if the Parmesan Crusted Tilapia that comes in the Chesapeake Seafood Platter could be replaced with just regular Tilapia with the Garlic and Butter Sauce that the scallops and shrimp that also come in the platter was cooked with. The server told him she would check. When she comes back to the table she didn’t give us an answer but didn’t say anything about it so we asked what the chef said and she told us yes she could do it. The food comes out and she says she put the request in but they sent it out with the Parmesan crusted tilapia then said her manager said if we didn’t want it, he could make it over. We were frustrated at this point because my boyfriend specifically told her that if they couldn’t make the Tilapia the way he wanted it that he could order the other meal he was considering… While ordering we told her he did not like the crusted tilapia the last time he had it there… Basically, it was a disaster and after spending $ 100 there my boyfriend left hungry… I won’t say the server’s name because she was awesome and very nice… The mistakes were just unfortunate for us last night. Hopefully I can convince my honey to go back again… We’ll see :/

Two Words… HAPPYHOUR. Delicious orange crushes, ½ off apps! 4ppl get get 4 to 5 apps and walk away full! Everything is delicious. The chicken wings are AMAZING and I am a wing snob. The chicken quesadilla is stuff full of deliciousness. The jalepeno poppers were ok. The last time we went, they took on the taste of freezer, it was still good though. We have been here for just dinner. Everything is delicious enough to wipe on your hips!

I will never go back. Once was enough for me. The food was just okay. The service was appalling. The servers were rude and inattentive. I was a waitress for many years. I would have lost my job if I had treated my guests that way. I tried to bring it to the managers attention. Let’s just say., the Apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. It’s crazy that this behavior is allowed. And we pay good money to be treated this way. Not again.

Food always good. Normally go during lunch time. I’m a fan of their chicken parm, coworkers love their quesadillas and crab pretzel. The manager(didn’t get his name, but middle age, Hispanic guy) has the best customer service I have seen in years.

We arrived around 5:30 and were seated right away, which was nice considering it was a Friday. We ordered the crab dip to start. It was tasty but definitely a small portion for $ 14 and mostly cream cheese. The salad and breadsticks were okay. I thought the salad dressing was not as flavorful as other times I’ve been here and the breadsticks were greasy. I ordered the chicken Parmesan($ 16) and my boyfriend ordered the roundup of chicken parm, lasagna and Alfredo noodles($ 16). My food was delicious, but they forgot my pasta. My boyfriends food was good as well. The lasagna was especially amazing! The service was ok, it seemed that at times our waiter just disappeared. Eventually we would receive refills and be checked on. Overall it was a great meal and I would definitely eat here again!

I love everything I have tried before, even the crab dip. Especially the crab dip. Strange item for an Italian restaurant but hey, this is Baltimore. We have to have our crabs. And their crab dip is to die for. The breadsticks are as good as the other Olive restaurant, and their salad dressing is pretty much the same or better. The lasagna is huge and delicious, the chicken parmesan is big enough for 3 meals, maybe 4. You will have tons leftover, and it heats up well. The breading is yummy. The service has always been excellent. I’ve never had a bad waiter. I don’t go as often as I like because it’s a little expensive for a single mom on disability, but when I can go, it’s worth it.

We checked this out tonight because it comes up when you select«Good for Kids». It is not. Not only do a large number of the booths share a low wall(which allows your kids to lean over and get in other diners’ faces), but the menu selection for the children is lacking. The kids’ meals only include a choice of soda or iced tea. There are some juices and milks available, but they are an additional cost and do not have refills. There are no vegetable/fruit options to accompany the kids’ meals either. One of my pet peeves is that there is no changing table in the mens’ room. With two children in diapers, I am quite annoyed at the subtle expectation that I’ll be stuck doing the diaper changes or else my husband has to use the floor in the mens’ room. What about the single dads in the world? I mentioned this to the manager, but I really don’t think that this is something that we should have to tell them in 2015. Finally, the food was pricier than I expected and wasn’t very good. The zucchini fries were tasty, the salad was acceptable, the breadsticks were terrible, and the entrees were lackluster at best. The burger and fries were sadly undercooked and soaked in grease. The stuffed shells had a decent tasting sauce, but were grossly bland on their own. The chicken tacos were the best of the lot both in taste and presentation, but were overpriced for the value. The server was okay, but didn’t tell us about the specials at all. We won’t be back.

First time and will definitely be back. The added bar and grill to their name says it all — big bar with too many to count TVs, large bar menu and open till 1:00! Dinner was great beats chains hands down.

First I should tell you Italian food is my soulmate and this place does it the best. Starting with the unlimited breadsticks which are always warm, garlicky, and delicious paired with a well decorated Italian salad. There house Italian is delicious though sometimes they put a little too much dressing on the salad but you can always get it on the side. Now for the entrees, Chicken Bella is my FAVORITE. Its a white sauce that is a little lighter and has a stronger wine flavor compared to their alfredo sauce. The asparagus in the chicken bella is always crisp and the chicken is juicy. When I do get the chicken alfredo, I go blackened which adds a nice kick but not an overpowering one. I have also had the chicken parm which is your typical chicken parm, it is really hard to go wrong at this place. However, beware of the buffalo chicken pretzel. It is not what you expect, but its not bad, its just different. Its basically a soft pretzel with buffalo white pasta sauce and chicken. It’s different. Don’t say I didn’t tell you… but honestly with as much food as you get here who needs appetizers? Lastly, the drinks. Yum-o. Apple martini are great, the sangrias are delicious and they have so many types to choose from each with a unique flavor. They also feature a drink on the board as you walk in as a special and its hard to argue with their happy hour prices. After writing this review and thinking about how yummy all their food is, I might need to go tomorrow!

I have been a few times. Solid food. Very large portions. The appetizer menu is all fried food and very unhealthy which they should improve on. The reverse happy hour is a sweet deal.

I was on Unilocal saw the reviews and decided to go… The place has a nice when u walk in .very open and spacious with good lighting around the bar. I went on a Saturday not a lot of people…(Basically empty) good if you want to take a date for a drink at the bar. You will still be able to hear them. Sat at a booth… the table felt sticky… the lighting was low to give it a more cozy feel. I ordered the seafood fettuccine …I’d give the food a 3.5 the portion size was enough for two, however the food tasted a bit bland to me especially the scallops. The meal came with complimentary bread which was good and a salad. I’d return for drinks at the bar only.

A random day indeed, and I’m hongreh. Me and the tbt stopped here because I’m craving pasta of course. I’m not really sure what this place is. I mean when you walk in there is a huge bar, with tvs, sporty and what not, and to the right is a nice sized dining area. On this date, the sports area was slightly full and the dining area was akin to a ghost town. Not nary a person there. To start off, they bring you salad and bread sticks. The salad was über fresh, and the bread sticks were just okay IMHO. For dinner, I had one of their specials, which I’d assume isn’t on the menu. It was a seafood pasta with linguine in a spicy sauce. The portion was huge, the pasta had shrimp, mussels and scallops. I was slightly underwhelmed with the size of the scallops and their taste, as they were under seasoned. The sauce that came with the dish had this buffalo flavor, as in the wing. It really didn’t sit well with me. The server was super sweet and tried to fix it with additional alfredo sauce, which helped a bit, but honestly I just didn’t like it enough to finish it. I took it home, and it wasn’t too great the next day either. The tbt loved the lasagna that he ordered. Service was excellent. Up in the air about weather or not I’d return.

The Olive Tree claims to have the best happy hour in town… and I agree!!! It is all day Sunday; Noon to 6pm on Saturday; twice Mon-Fri 3p-7p &9p to close. $ 2.50 domestic drafts, $ 5 Crushes and Sangria and ½ price appetizers. There are the traditional appetizers like mozzerella sticks, loaded potato skins but you have to try their cheesesteak quesadilla! $ 5.50 for HH and it is loaded with grilled steak, grilled onions, grilled peppers and melted provolone cheese. It tasted just like a cheesesteak! YUM! Since I was meeting my eating buddy, we decided to try as many different items as we could. We ordered fried green beans which were crispy outside and soft inside. I did not like the dipping sauce, but they were fine plain $ 4. Had to try the onion rings too. They were too heavy for my liking but a good batch of rings $ 4. The marinara sauce was so delicious that I started dipping the beans and the breadsticks in it. Even though we both drank Sangrias, it was tough to find a flavor that we liked. Did the ladies have room to order entrees? You bet they did! They brought us salad and breadsticks like another restaurant with«Olive» in the name. I almost ordered a steak but went with the double pork chops smothered with onions and peppers. So juicy and delicious. I chose the vegetables and the pasta with marinara for my sides. My friend loved the marinara so much she made some substitutions to get the seafood pasta with the spicy marinara sauce(check out the pictures for the giant shrimp!). She loved it! My only complaint is that there is not an Olive Tree in Montgomery County!

I had a great monday lunch experience at Olive Tree! I had a Siracha Burger and it was really really delicious and had perfectly cooked bacon. My blue moon was cold and tasted pretty good as well. There are at least 50 televisions and this place woild be perfect to watch games. I sat at the bar and the bartender who was also serving as the table waitress(might as well sit at the bat and be closer) was attentive. A manager came by 4 times in one hour to ensure we were ok as well. The people behind me got the breadsticks soup and salad lunch special which looked good and just like another popular olive venue. I missed that option on the menu but note, it is there! What a great place to have lunch!

Soooo much food! Everything is sooooo fresh! If you go to The Olive Tree make sure you go hungry. The quantities are so large, and so delicious. The crab cake was amazing, and it’s lump crab meat, no filler. It was as large as the bun it came on. So delicious. The sangria was so refreshing(I had the mango sangria this time). This is my third time dining here, and I haven’t been let down yet! They also have these Italian Nachos with chicken and Alfredo sauce… OMG…the cream of crab soup is delish as is the unlimited salad and bread sticks.(better than Olive Garden) Some may think it’s out of the way, but it’s not too far. Take a little drive, it’s worth it! Oh they are also in the middle, or ending renovations, so a lot more space to dine and have a large party.
