If you walk into a mexican restuarant and all you see is mexican people, the dude behind the counter is wearing a wife beater and a grill and his wife is working the kitchen… you know that shiz is going to be on point! Aside from the fact that they serve cactus in with their fajitas, it’s the most authentic tasting place I’ve ever been. Seriously though, I don’t want to eat cactus.

Visiting from Texas… where Mexican cuisine is done right! This place is for you if you are looking for Authentic Mexican food. Tacos are to die for and the burritos are Huge! Lots of food for the price. I will definitely visit when I’m in the area again! Everything is seasoned to perfection.

Hole in the wall. Kind of a dive, but great food. Friendly staff. Best Mexican in this area, and that includes R&R. Beats the hell out of any chain Tex Mex.

My favorite place to come when I want taco truck tacos in Maryland. A little hole in the wall and sort of tucked away, but the food is worth it! More pricey than the California taco truck tacos, but the best ones you’ll find on the east coast.

This place has the most authentic Mexican food around — hands down. I felt like I was back in southern Mexico with fresh guacamole and spicy salsa and chips. The environment is small and simple and the prices are fair. I will be going back regularly.

Meh! I’m comparing their al pastor taco to the ones I ate in Austin, TX and quite honestly these lacked flavor. They just plain sucked! The pork was tender and they gave you a lot but for $ 3.50 a tasteless taco, I’d rather not. The horchata was good though. Service was quick but they’re wasn’t a line… not a good sign. I’ll pass on this place.

So I’ve been craving real Mexican food since I left San Diego 4 months ago and WOW did we stumble into this gem of a place. Finally! Real Mexican food with real flavor. The carne asada has an amazing authentic flavor and the fact that is actually called carne asada instead of «grilled steak» makes me feel like I’m back in SD. The food is freshly made. We ordered guacamole and the waiter went into the kitchen and made it fresh… btw, it was perfect. This is a small hole in the wall place and keeps in character of promise to be good. The owners are super nice and very accommodating. Good job! I’ll be back soon.

Food is definitely fresh and authentic but a little too authentic for me HA! I prefer the Tex-mex style tacos. It’s a tiny spot with a few small tables. I did carryout. Giving 4 stars because the food was fresh but prepared quick.

This place is legit. I’ve tried the pollo, carne asada, and carnitas. All of them good with the carnitas winning out by just a little. The nachos were good too. It’s a little pricey, but damn it’s good. Will be back.

This place is about the size of a postage stamp, but the food is Sooooo Gooooood! Really good, mucho, mucho good. It is so hard to find a good mexican place that has not given into the Taco Bell model. The family that runs this restaurant are from Puebla, MX, known of mole poblano. This is not fast food. It is slow, good Mexican food done right! I wish i could tell you what is good — why? because everything is good. Go in, take a menu, and start ordering. You will not be disappointed. If you are delicate on the stomach, be careful with the fresh jalapenos — they will burn on the way in and will burn on the way out! hehehehe… Enjoy this hidden gem.

Just a little hole in the wall place located next to a 7-Eleven but they do an amazing job. I went with some friends and we all got the Sopes. Made with homemade tortillas that are a little thicker and with a bit more chew(in a good way) than your traditional taco. I got 3, one each of the Al Pastor, Chorizo, ms Carne Asada. These are a really good size so 3 ended up being too many but I wanted to finish it all. The meat was well seasoned and flavorful topped with a bunch of stuff like sour cream, lettuce, tomato, cheese… You should check it out for a casual lunch!

BESTEVER, AUTHENTICMEXICANGRUB. This is as good as it gets and its right here in Glen Burnie. Try the Chilaquilas con Carne(basically nachos soaked in amazing sauce then covered with meat and other topping); their Chorizo Burritos are ridiculously good & the Spicy meat(Carne Enchilada) tacos are totally on point. If you are hankering for some thirst quenching HORCHATA, they give you a jumbo size cup, so bring a travel mug to store your extra drink! HANDSDOWN, THEBESTCHIPS in TOWN! The salsa verde is amazing and the red sauce will blow you away(spicy and flavorful). Rule of thumb, if the natives eat there, then you know its gotta be good. For an Angelino transplanted in the East Coast, this is a close to East LA food truck mexican goodness & reminiscent to driving down to TJ for some traditional foodie tripping.

You know those Mexican restaurants your friends living in Los Angeles or Miami or Austin always talk about? You know… those authentic Mexican restaurants that they love out there and they swear you would never find one because you’re living(or dying) in Glen Freaking Burnie, Maryland? You know what I’m talking about. It’s been the bane of your existence. Or your friends are the bane. Well, this is as close as you can get. The guacamole is indeed muy bien, as was everything else I’ve had. Just a heads up though: you need to give them some time to cook the food so if you’re carrying out, it’s best to it call in.

Great place!!! Limited space but really big food. I datn close to Tijuana in San Ysidro California for many years so I really miss the days in San Diego, getting an adaboda taco prepared right in front of me, huge breakfast burritos, carne asada fries or chips, or a great torta… mmmmm. Adobada sliced right off the rotisserie and layed on a grilled tortilla with all the fixings. This was an ok close, but I needed a salsa bar or something more to wet my tacos. The 2 salsas on the table were flaming hot. The fresh guacomole was delicious. I couldn’t get enough of it but the chips were cold. Overall I gave this place 4 stars for the limited seating area and cold chips. Chips should be hot out of the fryer. Although I would definitely try this place again. This time make it to go.

Had the carne asada burrito. mostly lettuce. The rice was unseasoned but ok… filler mostly. The meat was good but didnt get much of it… could be really good if they were more generous with the meat.

So, I’m from San Diego, CA and anyone who’s eaten Mexican food there KNOWS nothing compares to TJ style Mexican food. Well, on the way back from the airport I was on Unilocal(but of course!) and saw this place. Yeah, I was skeptical and thought, hey maybe they just through Tijuana in the name of the store just because, but my friend and I decided to try it out anyways. FIRST of all, they have Mexican Coca Cola. YUM. SECOND of all, their carne asada tacos were so freaking on point. I couldn’t even believe it. It’s like I was home again. The only thing missing was guacamole which I had to order a side of(OH, and by the way, THEYMAKEITFRESHASYOUORDERIT). Delicious and just typing this review out is making my mouth water. My friend ordered the cheese enchilada with green sauce and he loved it. Before they bring out the mail meals they give you salsa and chips, which are also amazing. The tortilla chips are thick and super crunchy. My friend and I favored the green sauce because it was less spicy and had less bite. If you haven’t been here, just go. I’m sure if you order carne asada anything it’ll be delicious. Next time, I’m going for the carne asada burrito.

Falling more in love with this place. Ok so I didn’t do my due diligence and get this last waitresses name but she was awesome and the cook came out to see how we enjoyed the meal. She was not the same cook as the last two times. Her food was pure bliss. I hope she is there again when I go back!

Last minute decision after a day of unpacking to get takeout from somewhere in the new area. This place had decent reviews so they called. Their site says«Free Delivery» but when I asked on the phone they said they did not do that… A big a language barrier with some of the employees but that’s ok — if you order directly off their menu you won’t have any problems. I had the Mixed fajitas which came with chicken steak and shrimp. So tasty! The rice is a little unflavored. Bright orange color makes you think otherwise but it wasn’t that great. I didn’t get a side of their guac but I see from others that’s a real popular dish(we still had some at home so I had that). Service was fast. The place has a few tables inside but nothing too fancy. You can tell they mostly do pickup. My fiancé had the carnitas burrito and he really liked his!

Still coming here two years later and it seems as if the word has caught on about how great this place really is. I have been here twice this week for the Tacos Al Pastor and the Watermelon Agua Fresca. Good lord, they are good. I’ll definitely miss this place when I move at the end of the month.

I am not giving this place four stars for décor because the restaurant is very simple with a few tables and chairs but it serves its purpose. If the purpose was to serve up some good tacos then mission accomplished. I got the three taco combination and I for once found a Mexican eatery in MD that is not afraid to make it rain cilantro on their food. Very tasty as I got a mix of carne asada, chorizo, and pollo tacos. There are a few places to sit of you want. I got mines to go as it was getting late but it was hard for me to resist smelling it in my car. Ready to head back and sample their other foods. BTW they have horchata!!!
