I was very disappointed with our service a few weeks ago. We had kids kicking our seats since the corner booth we were sat was broken. The high chair that was provided to us was broken. The sweet tea was so sweet I had to order a water but it didn’t come until our meal. The food was just okay. The chocolate pancakes were gross and the bacon was terrible. I will not be going back here.

This review is for the wholegrain pancakes with added blueberries which are the pancakes to die for and the only thing I will ever order from IHOP. Everyone else said their food was pretty good and at breakfast it’s hard to beat IHOP even if their bacon isn’t as good as Waffle House’s bacon – their pancakes are the best. Our server was really sweet too.

Been going here for breakfast for 2 years, has always been great until recently. New management has completely changed the dining experience. Everything is chaotic, our new waitress was horrible but evidently a friend of new manager so no need to do her job. Moral of old waitresses seemed very low when before upbeat. Sad one manager can ruin everything! Will be finding new breakfast establishment.

Had dinner there last night at 5:00. It was very cold in there. Less than 20 customers in the whole restaurant. Food served to all 3 of us was cold. Waitress was surly, frowned the whole time. Hash browns prepared with no butter, dry, tasteless. No spoons at the table. Asked for spoons. Was given 3 cheap plastic spoons. Waitress said we are short on spoons. Again, less than 20 customers. I will never go here again. How can you screw up eggs and hash browns? The cook here did. No manager in site the whole time. Now I know why the parking lot is empty at dinner time. Needs a complete overhaul of staff immediately.

Its IHOP. With that said, I can appreciate an establishment that can get all the nuances of a ten person party right! Thanks IHOP for not kicking out our party of ten people with intricate orders. Our server was kind and prompt. Thanks for your southern hospitality. Even took the checks for some people in our party and paid up from for them. Thank you!

Okay as long as you only have a couple in your party. Have been here several times with me the wife and our youngest child and it has been fine, but everytime(3 to be exact) we bring the whole family(me wife and 5 kids) it is horrible. Whether it be the food or just bad service they can’t seem to handle a larger group, that is unless you don’t all want your food at the same time or for it to be hot. I guess we are a gluten for punishment for having tried and tried, but that is all for us!

I don’t understand why their are not more local residents taking advantage of this great restaurant. Every time I visit this particular IHOP, it is clean, consistently has friendly staff, a welcoming and warm atmosphere. Once, you are seated and open the menu, you are able to choose from what seems like an endless selection of delicious options. Plus, no matter how you order your feast, it will be exactly correct; as you requested. Not to mention the(just like home made) it will be fresh, toasty warm, and a portion size that will seem like a double order. Your entire table will not need to worry about your refreshments going empty, as the professional staff will keep you refreshed and not needing for nothing; concerning your meal. For those who are not local residents, this wonderful dining experience can easily be experienced by all. As, the location is an easy find, without the worry of traffic, multiple turns, and personal safety. They are located just north of the IL Route 159 and Interstate 70⁄270. Also, it is just a few miles west of Interstate 55 and Interstate 70 intersection. As a result, if you are headed to, from, or through St. Louis, you have the option to stop and fill your hunger, without the hassle of trying to find a restaurant in the city. As you might have figured out by now, I can not express in words how satisfied and thankful you will be if you decide to visit this«second to none,» IHOP in Edwardsville, IL. Also, no one in my family or myself are associated with the restaurant, it’s just that great of a place to eat.

One of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. Very disappointed because I’ve been to this IHOP for breakfast a few times and always had, at worst, a pretty ok meal. I took my kids for dinner this last time, however, and it really sucked. My younger daughter’s mac and cheese was slightly burnt and her fruit was old and wilted. My other daughter had a chicken florentine crêpe that was simply gross. No other words fit. My own pot roast sandwich was slightly cold AND slightly burnt on the outside and had a really disgusting brown gravy that was really gloppy. My seasoned fries were in fact barely srasoned, and very few in number. On top of all this, our waitress was grumpy and barely even spoke to us. I always give people the benefit of the doubt. But clearly these staff, both in and out of the kitchen have simply stopped trying to make even a decent dining experience. No, IHOP will never be ‘fine dining’, but they could at least TRY to make it decent. They are not even trying here anymore. Do yourself a favor and save your money-eat somewhere else!

We went to IHOP on a Sunday around 10 am. We were seated quickly. Our server was attentive and friendly. The food was good. There was nothing bad about our experience and nothing spectacular. This is an ok place to get breakfast.

Went on a Sunday morning so all the«church folk» were out in full force. After waiting for 20 min(Bleh) it took about 15 min for food, which was not bad for the crowd. I gotta say the cinni stick pancakes rock! Well worth the wait and the $ 8 it cost me. My wife was less impressed with the cheese cake pancakes, but hey, its ihop, 40 dollars for 4 people isn’t bad.

I went late one night. The service was very slow, even though there were no customers, and the food was mediocre. Mushy, and a little cold. I’m not excited to go again.
